DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT ever stay at this hotel! I checked in and when I used the bathroom, there was a pool of URINE on the floor. I had to stay there because there was no other hotels in the area with room. They never passed my complaint on to the GM and he never called me back. I filed a complaint with my bank. Motel 6 kicked it back after 90 days. I called to get something done and was told because it was longer than 90 days, they could not give me a refund. Their corporate office said it was a property discretion. They offered me a discount on my next stay. WHY WOULD I EVER stay here again?

I paid deposit for not damaging stuff and as soon as I get the room I noticed the floor was still wet so I dried it a little bit with towel and towel became black from dirt that still was there. I regret that I didn't make a photo because when I was trying to get It back after almost a week but they said they aren't giving it because of "cleaning fee" I said that they don't have it in policy just for damage. They said it is damage. Even Manager doesn't care about policy looking for any reason not giving it back. So if you leave deposit be ready not to get it back or clean your room by yourself. Ohhh and the girl on the desk was asking a review for a small discount so I think that's why it has a good rating.

One of the dirtiest places I've ever been to and the constant airplane noise! Reserved a queen bed, got a full size instead. At least I didn't get attacked by any cockroaches. I expected them to chase me right out of there. No microwave for guests to use. No hot water for making hot drinks later in the day. Tiny, tiny, tiny rooms! What, 10' x 10'? Maybe 12' x 12'. An absolutely terrible experience.

Front desk were very nice and friendly, unfortunately the hotel was a complete “DISGRACE “. I don’t understand why the owners don’t invest in remodeling it. Take pride in making the place beautiful and worthy of being called the “Motel 6”. Just walking around the property and reaching our room is where I realized I was not going to spend 1 minute in that disgraceful room. Stay away from this place PERIOD.

I really was hesitant because of all the negative reviews on here. I checked in for two nights. First, the front desk staff is awesome. The deluxe room I was given was absolutely awesome and alot bigger then I thought it would be . Clean. Bed was comfortable. I took my dog out last night at 730 and saw what really made me feel good was a security guy walking the premise. It was quiet all night. I am in 227 and couldn't be happier. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Yes it's noisy with the planes but it's not the hotels fault. This location is less then two miles away from O'Hare. I'll definitely be back.

This was probably the best Motel 6 experience I've ever had. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the showerhead and bathroom lighting was adequate. I very much enjoyed the configuration of the motel in general, the view was great and I loved having the balcony. Parking was great, as well. I was able to keep an eye on my car all night. Our front desk agent was GREAT. She was so so personable and gave us some great options for things to do and explore during our time in Chicago. I will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I love this motel. Whenever we are in Chicago we stay here. Tonight check-in is as usual, smooth and front desk lady Alice is very friendly, helpful and courteous. She even called us to make sure we like the room and everything is good after checking in. Rooms are pretty clean and best for the price.

For 45/night and it being close to the airport and checking in at midnight to sleep someplace for a few hours before checking into our actual hotel, it wasn't bad. But it wasn't cleaned either. The room we were in had hair everywhere. In the shower. On the floor. Under the pillows. On the towels. Just everywhere. 😮‍💨 We def slept on top of of the covers and left as soon as we could.

Very very dirty rooms from lack of good housekeeping. Deteriorating amenities from lack of mechanical maintenance. Loud all day & night due to several airplanes flying overhead each hour. There was dried blood (or bbq sauce, I hope) on lamps, walls, etc. The shower head was extremely crusty & rusty like the hard water scale has never been cleaned off. Burn marks were all over everything, especially all over the bathtub. Mattress was thin, lumpy, and loud whenever you move or adjust in bed. Bathroom faucet was wobbly like it was about to fall off. Dirty floor. Filthy doorknobs. We paid a cheap price for being near Chicago but it’s not a place I’d ever recommend, or stay at again.

I've never had a worse experience w a hotel in my life. Me and my fiance needed a place to stay for the night and since I didn't have my I.D they said I can't only her. Well this was the only place we could find that would accept cats I had to just let my fiance stay. I go to the front desk w her like hey we know u said she'll get kicked out no refund if I come in so I'm just gonna walk to her door and have her hand me my book bag of clothes for work the next day. They had the nerve to knock on her door tell her they seen me come in even though I made sure not to step a foot in. They searched the room even bathroom to make sure I wasn't and didn't even apologize. My fiance and I feel invaded disappointed and greatly disrespected. On top of it all they had bed bugs. I wonder if the bed bugs needed an I.D

Alice at the front desk was amazing. Rooms are nice and clean. 4.5 stars! Front desk was very kind and courteous, however I was offered their "last" room available that didn't have a functional locking mechanism on the door via key card. That meant I had to be let in by their security via physical key as the key card wouldn't function. First room I was sent to with security wasn't cooperating with security's key. Same with the 2nd. Finally the third was able to be forced open with security's key. Remote for the TV is non operational, beds have sheets but no comforters. I am not complaining because this was a 3 AM check in, under $100, and the front desk staff (Alice) was great. I'm not sure what more you could expect at this price point. 4.5 stars for the category this motel falls in

I stayed here with my friend when she got surgery, there’s no fridge or microwave and if you want a microwave they charge a lot for one. There’s dennys and a gas station right next to it but the sales tax is wild. Lol I’m from the north east & thought where I lived the sales tax was high. One last thing, if you don’t mind hearing airplanes all day & all night, you’ll be okay. The washer did not work when we stayed, maybe they got it fixed by now. The ice machines never worked. No clue why. Thankfully I had a friend there who provided me with a mini fridge and microwave so the stay wasn’t too bad but it’s horrible without those. Anyway, enjoy your stay.

Can't beat it for the price. Also, if you have a pet it's super accessible but still safe to take your animal out. Also, note the motel is literally right under the air way so you have planes flying over at all hours if you are a light sleeper. But if you are a plane spotter, it's your dream hotel. Only complaint would be the amenities within the room. We traveled 16 hours and arrived late and they don't give any soap or shampoo. It is all for purchase. If you carry your own, then would suggest this for a budget motel.

I don't know how these people are working. I got room 126. But come back to the room in the nighttime. The Focet didn't have cold water. Only boiling water. The shower is old but working. I used the toilet in the morning, and it not worked. Price is ok for 40$ per night, not for 80. Check your room first before taking it.

This motel has horrible customer service skills. The MOD is rude and took my payment just to tell me five minutes later that we can't stay there anymore cause we were smoking in the room which was false. There are burn holes everywhere in the hotel room. They refused to give me a refund and I payed over $100 to stay and I was homeless at the time. Find a better place to stay

Rooms had bugs in them . No wifi, TV remote didn't work right. One of the lights wasn't working. Windows in rooms weren't locked and makes an unsafe environment, beds were dirty and had hair all over them. People upstairs were extremely noisy. I work late shift and came back next morning to find that was evidence that someone was in the room because lights were on , toilet was used and my personal possessions were missing. Told the front desk lady Hallah and she had the nerve to blame me when it was obvious that the staff there are thieves.

Now that I have been here every week for a month or so I have grown to like this place. Had one noise moron above me one week. Sounded like they were dragging a body across the floor every once in a while . Otherwise front desk is great. Always takes care of anything I request. Staff is nice and does great job with housekeeping. This is now my go to.

When I arrived at the motel, I was greeted by a wonderful woman at the front desk named Allie. She put my mother and I into our room as fast as possible seeing as we were exhausted from the trip. Unfortunately the room we were put in had some problems but thankfully Allie switched our rooms immediately and even called a half hour later to make sure we were comfortable and all right for the night. So thank you Allie for making sure we were comfortable mainly my mother. Later on in the night, Hallah (the employee who had the shift after Allie) brought another pillow to my room for my mother after my mom called the front desk for it in five minutes. She also made sure my mother was comfortable and everything was alright with the room and was just over all a pleasant person to speak with. I 100% recommend this place, not only for the nice clean rooms, but the great employees like Hallah.

My husband and I 🏳️‍🌈👬 have been staying at this Hotel since March, we have made several reservations. This review is based on our experience; The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the air conditioners work well, the bathrooms are very clean. They also have laundry, microwave and cooler. Parking is very comfortable and safe. The motel staff has been very friendly. ❤️ The motel is located close to supermarkets, restaurants, public transportation, the Fashion Outlets and the O Hare airport. Honestly if you are looking for a Motel/Hotel this is the place to stay, of course it is not the Hyatt Regency but the girls at the front desk treat you as if you were at the Hyatt. 💖

Overall our stay was nice! The room could have been swept a bit more but it was clean and good for our short stay in Chicago. The front desk was very nice and called a few minutes after we got settled in the room to make sure everything was okay. It didn’t bother us at all, but just be mindful that the airport is close so you’ll hear the planes landing.

Excellent, very friendly staff rooms were clean and heater worked well. Great dining options nearby and area is very safe, including both the nearby CTA station and the Metra station. Also next to the beautiful schiller woods, which unfortunately I did not have a chance to explore. It would be nice if the power outlets were a bit closer to the bed and if they had a chest of drawers but otherwise no complaints.

a horrible experience, the first room they gave me had a strong smell of marijuana, when I told the person in the office, the lady was very attentive, she gave me another room, which was terribly smelling of cigarettes, it even had a bottle inside to throw cigarette butts. I go down to the office again, and I tell the receptionist that that room smelled too, so she gives me a third room, which looked clean, but the sheets had cigarette burns. My husband and I were so tired that we decided to stay in that room, but we didn't even want to take a bath because the towels weren't reliable. Besides, there were people standing at the door smoking marijuana. Very bad for a place that says no smoking in the room. I definitely don't recommend staying here, I don't do it anymore.

Stayed here for one night after a flight delay. They checked me into a room that already had someone staying in it… the second room they put me in looked like it could have been part of a crime scene. (See attached photos) And to top it all off at 10:45am (check out is at 11) “housekeeping” started banging on the door while I was trying to get dressed. Thankfully I had locked and padded the door but will never be coming back here again.

No hairdryer and it's 40 degrees outside. I'm using the heater in the room to dry my hair fully. No complimentary shampoo or conditioner, just soap bar for the tub (this is fine kind of). Free wifi. Staff was nice. Had kind of nasty stains on the bottom of the door in the bathroom. Bed was comfy enough, everything seemed clean enough for the bed

Me and my fiancé came from out of town for a unsuspected funeral, at first I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay there, but as soon as I walked in we were greeted by this young lady I won’t forget her name Laura. Every time we walked in and out she made sure we were being attended well. Honestly such a pleasant experience. It’s hard to find good costumer service now a days especially at motels… oh must I say everything seamed very clean. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or long stay.

It was $102 for 2 nights. Don't expect much from cheap motels. When we came into our room, the floor was just soaked in water. I soaked my socks. It's the next morning and it's still wet. I took a towel and wiped it and the white towel is covered in brown. There was blue stains in the tub from cleaner. There was also hair in the tub. There is no fridge to store refrigerated food and the TV worked for one second and then stopped. I even unplugged and plugged it back in. There's no WiFi either. They say there is but there really isn't. I mean I didnt expect more from a cheap motel but I would've at least wanted it cleaned better.

I want to say that I am Grateful for staying at the Motel 6 in Schiller Park at a very difficult time in my life. The staff is wonderful and there is one Lady, that has gone above and beyond for myself and other guest. Her name is Laura and she is at the Front Desk. When I need any, she would make sure it was taking care of. Not only is she compassionate, has a beautiful smile, honest and professional. When I was at my lowest point of my life, she Has a wonderful gift of knowing when people are down or discouraged. It's very simple "She Cares". I hope this young Lady, reaches all of her Dreams. I also hope she reaches The Top with Motel 6.

Plus, the convenient location added to the overall satisfaction. A great value for the price – highly recommended! 🌟

Great if you’re looking for a budget motel close to the convention center (~8 min drive, half hour walk and there’s a sidewalk if the weather is nice) and don’t need anything super nice or fancy. I’ve stayed here twice now, and if you’re not a light sleeper, the sound of the planes coming/ going about every ten/fifteen minutes shouldn't bother you. If you’re going for a big event, check a few days beforehand to see if prices have lowered (got the room for half the price that way). The most recent time I stayed, the room was a little more run down than the first. Cosmetic things, like torn curtains, a tiny hole in the ceiling, and the bathroom door falling off of the hinges. But the most recent time it also smelled like someone had been smoking in the room and tried to cover it with perfume. As long as other hotels don’t value the money of people under twenty-one, this is where we’ll be staying when we come into town for conventions for the time being.

Boogers all over the walls, blood on the bathroom door, urine stains in the shower, fruit flies flying out of the faucet, light doesn’t work, cigarette hole in the blanket, bathroom door doesn’t close. Room smelled of cigarettes and weed. Black mold in shower. Ac unit was falling apart. Front door hardly locked. Dead bugs all over the floor. Good for when you need a hotel on a whim, but overall should be your absolute last resort. Quite a few crackheads roaming about, and the fact the door barely locked made it unnerving

I enjoyed getting to mote in Uber. I paid for my room and lady said wait till 3pm. Fine I did. I get my room and the floors are dirty otherwise everything is clean bed wise. Good heater because there was snow storm. Had to order delivery food no 😕. Local police banned me after. The shower has good hot water. I switched rooms eventually. Good tv 😄 I asked for a refund on my 2nd chance here. She returned my money but day after I'm home my money disappears shameful trickery.

I got off work extremely sleepy and couldn’t drive home without falling asleep at the wheel. I thought that Motel 6 would be a good choice to book via booking. I did so and all was well. I even called the property to confirm if I could come check in earlier. I get there & I am told they have no more rooms. Why wasn’t this told to me over over the phone? Or when I booked the room!? I’m never coming back

A bit overpriced at $120 a night. Rooms aren't huge but not cramped. Door had trouble locking and steps looked ready to fall apart and needed to be replaced. No light in the shower or shampoo, so forewarned. Found some hair around mostly the bathroom but it was pretty clean as I could see. Luckily they didn't have carpet as that gets very dirty, floor is cold though in the winter. Free parking and a hot shower was a plus.

The location is about 2km from the train station. Room is very decent but dirty. Strong smell of marijuana outside and inside the room. There is a weird people without shoes walking around the Motel. In the end we gave up our remaining 3 days stay and move to another hotel

Such great customer service! The front desk attendant that checked me in, Allie, made the whole process of checking in super convenient. Not only was she so incredibly respectful & polite, but she went above and beyond to give us a room and parking that was in a convenient location. It was also SO nice of her to let us know how hard staff and security works to patrol the premises and keep the guests and their vehicles/belongings secure during the duration of our stay. This place has totally exceeded my expectations! 10/10 — would definitely recommend!

  • 2/5 Devian G. 1 year ago on Google
Room was dirty upon arrival, there were many burn marks in the bathroom. The staff DO NOT confirm if you're actually in the room before giving out room keys if you've "lost" them. Some stranger came into someone else's room during my visit because they don't check if they should have a room key. The staff was nice but need to be more secure about giving out room keys.

No microwave ovens no refrigerator. And staff is very rude and unfriendly.. On call they say different time for check in check out as per customers requirements after reservations they say hotel rules are this and that. For check in time and check out time they don't have any consideration for customers.. And they don't pick calls from the rooms and they call at the check out time if we don't respond they call to police for kick us out of the room or else need to pay for next another day if not staying also.. Seems to be untrained staff.. Pictures shows large rooms infact very small rooms.. No hair dryer, no iron press.. Just come and sleep go back to home for everything.. For official meeting never ever recommended this place.. And if you lost or miss something and if you call back they don't pick your call.. Very bad experienced ever... Thanks.

Very unprofessional and ethical.I walked in and the first thing I see is residue of a past travelers belongings. Many other things including the roaches, rats, and spider eggs made my experience horrible as it wasn’t advertised to be. Bills will be affected and landlords and HR will be contacted.

I was super happy with my experience here. The room exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi worked good on both my laptop and tablet, and there are a couple good food options within walking distance, plus mass transit connections to local attractions or the CTA station. A word of caution however, this property is located directly beneath the approach to O'Hare and planes fly low overhead and it can be noisy. I found that turning the room AC fan on drowned it out mostly, but if you're a light sleeper you might want to look elsewhere. Overall this is a great budget option and I was more than happy with it.

Hey, for a bed and a shower, it was just what I needed. My weekend was at the convention center down the road a little. Denny's being next door was a huge plus, there was one time that our room key wouldn't open our door, but it was remedied quickly with no drama. The bedspread was just a sheet and a fleece blanket, so my husband got a little cold. But, I did keep the heat low in the room, and I'm sure had I asked, another blanket would've been given. Not a big deal. Thanks Motel 6 for being a great inexpensive stay!

  • 2/5 Jamie K. 1 year ago on Google
Very good price for sure, but not really convenient at all. It’s pretty close to the airport. Our first room didn’t have hot water to shower, and the bed lamp only one works. So they changed us to another room, this one finally got the hot water, but the air conditioner and the heat didn’t work at all.

  • 2/5 aflawed d. 1 year ago on Google
Front desk at check was very friendly and easy but room was NOT worth the $200 price to stay for 2 nights. No amenities at all and the bathroom walls had dead bugs squished into them. The room seemed clean but was definitely needing a scrub once you paid attention to where you were. Airplanes overhead were soothing, but all the neighbors were loud. Didn't sleep very well. It's possible I'd stay again if the price was cheaper

During my stay at this Motel 6, I was helped by the most courteous and lovely young woman named Laura. She made our stay comfortable and made sure all our needs were met. We were running low on toilet paper, and she helped us out right away. Will be coming back to this location very soon.

Honestly can't beat the price for this place. I stayed at the motel 6 for a business trip. It was super last minute, and this place was so close to the airport it was fantastic. I walked in, and was greeted by Laura at the desk she quickly got me set up with a great room. Not gonna lie I am pretty easy, and didn't require much, but the smoothness my stay was everything. Thank you Motel 6! Next time I have a long layover in Chicago this is my place!

Scummy management, I booked a stay 8 months in advance to get a better rate only to check my reservation today and find that not only had they changed the room I booked , but they were charging me 2.5X the price, and over $100 more than the actual current booking price, all without notifying me. Guess they expected I wouldn't check. Friendly staff on the phone said my reservation was internally changed just a few days ago, 4 days before I was supposed to stay. What's the point of reserving a room if they're just going to change the reservation entirely and try to scam me? Stay literally anywhere else, if they're trying to scam you online I wouldn't doubt they'll try to pull this somewhere else as well.

If you like the sound of jets over the hotel all day and most of the night, this is the spot for you. Inexpensive accomodation traveling for business other than I was in a handicap room there was minimal furniture. Service was great. Great pet friendly stay 🐾

  • 1/5 Michael R L. 9 months ago on Google
Worst accommodation i have ever stayed at. Smells of smoke chemicals, the noise of jets every 3-5 minutes shake the building and bed, dirty, should be condemned. Neighbours tried to break-in to my room at 2am gangsters coming and going there. I left after that at 2am. After 1,5 weeks of arguing with management they refunded me 3 of 4 days pre-paid stay for a few hours of hell.WORST OF MY 60 YEARS TRAVELLING.

The location is nice because it's close to things but far enough away it's not overly chaotic outside. The TV in our room was smashed and didn't work, the door had to be slammed in order to close it, the bathroom was dirty, towels were wet...Concerns were brought up to the staff and they said "Thanks for telling us and we will get to it when we can" and nothing ever happened...just overall not a great experience.

We stopped at this hotel after a 13 hour drive. Gladys welcomed us warmly and offered a great price on the room. All rooms offered were non-smoking with great amenities such as luxurious queen beds and bath tubs. The presence of on-site security made us feel extremely comfortable. If we are ever in the area again, we will be staying here for sure.

Pleasant 2.5 miles midnight stroll from O’Hare. A smiling security guard greeted me at the door and escorted me in to register. Registration took less than 5 minutes, and the front desk staff was also very nice. She gave clear and precise instructions and information. Outside looked nice, and spruced up. Inside was clean, a bit dated but much better than other reviews... There was a slight scent of smoke from prior guests in my nonsmoking room. Not much that the management can do. Neighboring guest was nice and bid me welcome as I got to my room on the second level. Reasonably priced. Convenient location to/from O’Hare. Directly under flight paths - so sleeping before midnight and after 4:00 am would be challenging without heavy meditation or drinking. Coffee and tea available in the front lobby before 10:00 am. No fridge in room, ice bucket and plastic cups provided.

This motel 6 is super convenient as its 15 minutes from my job and when i work doubles or overnights its the perfect location. Very affordable the rooms are kept nice and clean. Joel is professional and does his best to make sure the rooms accommodate the customers needs. Perfect for one night stays.

I have stayed here multiple times but my wife and I stayed a few nights ago and the customer service was great from the Front desk girl Alice. She was so helpful and kind. The room was nice and clean as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend staying at this motel.
