We had driven past Church on the Rock about a hundred times, and kept saying to one another, "we should stop in there some time to check it out." In September 2013 we stopped in and checked it out, and we've never stopped going up to this day. Our entire family now belongs to Church on the Rock, and we love it. Friendly, loving people, Biblically faithful preaching and teaching, and a passion to reach unbelievers with the Good News, and disciple believers to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did.

Church on the Rock has been a great place for our family, and after 12 years here we love it even more. The pure life changing word of God is taught. The worship is great and my children especially like the new youth program. Whether you need prayer, fellowship, or just a safe place to grow in your relationship with God, COTR is a great place to be. This has been my church home since 2002 when they were still meeting in the theater. Worth the drive as I still live in Elgin and they are in just off i-90 near route 47. Everyone should feel at home here. It's a place to meet or renew your relationship with Jesus, but also to hang out with some incredibly giving, kind and fun people. You will not be singled out or overwhelmed when you first arrive, but you will find a warm non-judgmental welcome. Although in person activities are somewhat curtailed during the pandemic, there are ministries for every age and lots of small groups to choose from.

It's your boy David here and this place is probably the best church you will go to. The kid area always has a message and next year I'll be at high school service so ima review that soon.

Spirit filled, praise and worship. Pastor Bryan is anointed, his messages cut to the heart. The worship team is uplifting and energetic, they really create an atmosphere of God's glory, and presence.

Awesome uncomromised preaching that is insightful and truthful. The worship team does am awesome job of bringing praise to the Lord. Truly a 5 star God experience!!
