Amazing little family-run Italian bakery and deli. They have great sandwiches and outstanding cookies and breads. Really, the best of all was the kind service provided by the proprietors - you leave feeling completely full and happy to have stopped at the best little Italian bakery around Chicago.

The Italian bread is so good! Very fluffy in the middle and the outside is flaky. It’s perfect! Perfect for great subs or for coffee or Mexican hot chocolate. The Italian sub is to die for. Very flavorful and a good size. Perfect for a quick food stop. The workers are very friendly. I was in and out in 5 minutes. 10/10 would recommend

The taste is definitely there. Selection is really limited if looking for lunch options. Unfortunately, the Veggie or Michele Special Sandwich I ordered, only had a few pieces of cheese and deli meat. The bread tasted very very fresh. I know we say quality over quantity but please fill up the sandwiches! I would love to go back if so. Thank you!
