We enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant.. The front of the house was bustling and customers appeared to be happy. Entrees are pictured below. Michelle gave us great service and personally made a wonderful Manhattan for me and a Blueberry Lemonade mocktail for my significant other. Timing of courses were excellent. Highly recommend.

A great meal with family that we haven’t seen in awhile. Our waiter was very attentive to all of our needs. The pizza that my children shared was amazing. The crust has the perfect crunch and the cheese, pepperoni, and peppers were extremely well balanced. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the filet had a nice bite. The lasagna was delicious and a good portion enough to fill you up. We finished our meal with a delectable tiramisu which was gobbled up quickly. A comprehensive wine list as well. Children friendly too.

I highly recommend this spot. Our server, Sam, was so friendly, attentive, and personable. He truly made the dining experience wonderful. Overall, the staff was so accommodating and the food was excellent. The dishes I ordered were served hot, and more importantly full of flavor and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend this spot - great service, amazing food and all around great experience.

Came in with family for celebratory dinner. Calamari was exquisite, they make you feel like a valued guest. If you have not been here, you must try it, the owner is a very nice guy.

This place right here is the best Italian food in dupage county!!!! The food is delicious but the owner is wonderful and so welcoming. The wine selection is great, the owner is a sommelier too. I ordered the lamb chop with a side of hand made spaghetti with meat sauce. The portions are large and priced well. I highly recommend this Italian gem in downtown Westmont

Went here for the first time for my birthday dinner Saturday night. The food was fantastic and the entire staff was amazing! For appetizers we enjoyed the banana pepper dish, the prosciutto dates and the meatballs. Each of us then had different pasta entrees, all of which were great. We also enjoyed the chocolate cake and lemon tiramisu for dessert. Completely wonderful! Will definitely come back again!

Just hosted a 25 person Frost Communion luncheon here and everything was reasonable and fabulous. Service is great (and they kept the good servers from Vincitori) and the wine list was impressive at reasonable price points. Highly recommend the ricotta gnocchi and the pork chops.

An absolute gem in Westmont. Both gnocchi dishes were outstanding, the spaghetti seafood dish was delicious and the desserts were out of this world. Our server Christian did a fabulous job making our dining experience a memorable one. Well done Taurasi! Thank you!

This authentic Italian cuisine was the best I’ve ever had even over our trip to Italy. This was a private birthday celebration and we were waited on so courteously and personably by the owner and wait staff. The portions were huge and delicious and wine so good I took a picture. Thoroughly recommended.

Taurasi is a fantastic restaurant in downtown Westmont. The owner Raffaele (also the master chef) created the menu which is full of delicious, southern Italian dishes. Most of the menu's ingredients are made in-house. Michelle makes fantastic cocktails behind the bar, and the wine menu is well-manicured and affordable. They also have a retail license, so that you may purchase bottles of wine from the restaurant.

Amazing restaurant! Great food...one of the best outside of Italy. Truly authentic. Service was amazing and prices were great. This is a hidden gem. Highly recommend!

We were immediately greeted by the owner who is a very genuine guy and keeps the restaurant authentically italian as he is from Italy. The service, food and wine list is something to behold. Highly recommend going in for any occasion and checking out their monthly wine paring dinners.

Ordered the Cacio e Pepe Rigatoni Giant, and it was delicious. Also ordered the meatball appetizer. Great food, awesome energy. Highly recommend. You want Italian cuisine, here it is. My party and I thoroughly enjoyed food. I very much liked the Pear and Pomegranate martinis.

Very poor pasta, abysmal service. Ordered for appetizers: Truffle burrata ( no truffle flavor at all ), bacon wrapped dates ( mediocre...sauce that accompanied it made no sense and conflicted with the flavors ). Entrees were 2 ravioli dishes. Filet and lobster. The Ravioli pasta on one dish was so thick and undercooked we sent it back. It returned and I can't believe it left the kitchen. The top portion of the ravioli was so over boiled every one had split and filled with hot water. The bottom was super thick and still undercooked in some places. I ordered a moderately expensive bottle of wine ( $66 ). The waiter brought out the wrong bottle then tried to convince me to drink it when it was completely different from what I wanted. The waiter had no idea whatsoever about wine. I insisted on the original bottle (which should have never been an issue) and he finally brought it. He tried to give me a line of B.S. about how it 'was the same but cheaper'. I have no idea what was going on in this person's head but they need to realize their clientele aren't stupid. It was insulting to be honest. No initial taste, no bottle presentation just two filled glasses. No refills, no clearing plates, no checking on us. I had to walk up to the manager to get service. I arrived at 6pm and it was not busy. I feel sorry for the owner. It's clear they are having a difficult time getting good cooks and wait staff. Will not return for any reason.

Always delicious and a great experience. Best restaurant in Westmont and some of the most delicious Italian food I have ever had!

4 or 5 visits this year, including a multi-course wine dinner. The owner has been very present and welcoming each time, and every staff member we’ve encountered has been friendly, engaging and helpful. We’ve tried a wide variety of appetizers, pasta, pizza, entrees and even steak - never a disappointment. Excellent mostly Italian wine list with a nice range of interesting varietals/blends at all price points. 1/2 price bottles under $100 on Wednesday and Thursday. An added bonus is that the owner Raffele is a certified sommelier! This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants and easily worth the 25-minute drive.
