This coffee shop is SO cute! They have lots of coffee options and not only do they have baked goods but they have gluten & dairy free options as well! The picture I posted are gluten and dairy free & they were AMAZING! The drinks were a little too sweet for my friend and I, so next time I will ask for less sweetness! I did get a lot of additives (flavors/syrups) to my drink so it ended up being $8 just for my coffee. But it’s so worth it as you can tell they go the extra mile to ensure the coffee is the BEST. The atmosphere is perfect whether you are working or meeting a friend. The staff was BEYOND amazing and helpful. Highly recommend!

We're about 2 hours away from this place, but that's probably for the best, as I would surely gain 100 pounds quickly if I lived nearby! Their baked goods were AMAZING & the coffee was just as good! My husband insists it's the best coffee he's ever had!! It's definitely on our list next time we pass through. So happy we stumbled on this hidden gem!

Wow! Absolutely loved Sozo’s the atmosphere was delightful, the service fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was AMAZING, the baked goods where scrumptious, can’t say enough good things! So glad we stopped

I LOVE Sozo's! You can tell with every drink they do things to the highest quality. I love that they blend their lattes (even iced) and get everything mixed well. My favorite is the Peppermint Mocha all year round :) Would recommend Sozo's to anyone! Great local coffee shop with great staff, yummy bakery items (their bagels !!) and awesome staff.

Fantastic locally owned coffee shop and bakery. Thoughtful and comfortable. Great place to come and relax with some friends or just grab a quick amazing coffee through the drive through. The owners to staff are engaging and passionate. This is must stop coffee house. Black bear dark coffee rocks! Well that's my favorite at least.

I was in town for training for my job and I will tell you I couldn't wait to drive the hour and half to get this coffee and pizza bagel!!! I wish this coffee place could be closer to me because I would get a brew every day, just fantastic coffee and atmosphere. The staff is amazing and quick. I will miss this coffee spot but I will probably do a family outing that way just to get a coffee and pizza bagel!! Thank you SOZO!!!

Very nice lattes, bake foods are worthy. Looking forward to trying their Velvet coffee for espresso. Nice vibe too, gotta stop!

Very nice coffee shop! Very hipster and cozy. Random location but it’s right off the main road. The coffee was fresh (but a bit pricey) and the atmosphere was relaxed. The shop itself was pretty large with a couple of private meeting rooms you can use for gatherings. All in all, if you’re in the Ionia area, craving a fancy cup of joe and have some extra cash then you’ll thoroughly enjoy Sozo Coffee Roasting.

I didn't stay very long at all, but I absolutely adored what little time I did spend here. The staff were both incredibly sweet (not overbearingly so) and helpful, the hot chocolate I ordered was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere in this cozy little shop was second to none. Highly recommend stopping in for a warm drink, comfy seating, and pleasant vibes, especially if you're able to watch the snow fall outside.

Lovely staff, amazing coffee, and delicious foods! They have amazing pricing for the quality of food and quantity. Even gave our puppy a hand-baked treat at the drive thru window. If you want a quick, but delicious, coffee (and treat) definitely stop here. An Ionia must-stop.
