This is a popular downtown restaurant with an eclectic feel and attentive staff. The Chips & Dip are a Food Network Top 50 Pick and I agree. The cheese curds and dip were good as were the sweet potato fries. The loss of the fifth star came from the Ultimate Burger which was good but plain tasting - not what I would consider ultimate.

I had the award winning double cheese burger. It was awesome 👍 the beef patties were super tender and the bun was great. The coleslaw on the side was also delicious. We also got to try cheese curds for the first time so that was fun. The raspberry dip was delicious. I got the lime and sea salt lager because I wanted to try something local. It was refreshing and very unique. My wife got one of the bowls. She liked it. The only dish that didn't wow us were the brussel sprouts. They were too hard. The pecans and bacon it came with were good though. Our waitress was super friendly. Sitting outside was nice too.

This is my kinda place¡! Chill atmosphere, great doodads great service. I got to 60/40 burger and I have to say it was excellent!! I will be hittin this spot again as I have to be in Minneapolis every six weeks going forward. Figured it might make sense to get me some haunts, ideally near my chosen city centre hotel.

Welcome to the gates of Flavor Town and wow ! The staff is as amazing as the food. The manager Grant took the time to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Our waitress never let one person in my family have an empty glass. Our waitress also gave us all great details about certain dishes as requested. You can tell ownership to management to server take pride in EVERYTHING that is done. No corners cut from feeling invited just as you walk in to the level of safety you feel, to the dining experience and powerful flavors of the food put in front of you. My pictures dont do justice on how AMAZING everything was. Don’t just skip over the apps as the sticky wings were out of this world, and the Ruben bites were punch you in the face of flavor. You think it’s over……NO !!! The fries people ! My God were they outstanding with on point garlic and the aioli dipping sauce is a must! Cocktails were also full body and not oversaturated with booze. Everything was balanced and compliments each other. I tip my hat Red Cow and keep up the great work! Beau Geer Xtreme Pest Solutions

I ordered the breakfast burger (2 patties, peanut butter, cheese, fried egg, bacon on sourdough) with tots. Was good. Place was busy and server was good but mentioned it was unexpectedly busy, so we didn't see him at times. Several of us had water and they serve them in small glasses with small carafes which holds 2 glasses of water. Sorry, but they needed bigger glasses of water and carafes if going to run into issues of not seeing server for stints of time. Buddy ordered the Manhatten burger and it came with a sparkler on it (sorry I didn't catch the flame in pic). He devoured it.

Say 4 across the board. Nothing wrong with this place it's just a fairly high-volume, high-throughput sort of place. Absolutely nothing wrong with it but I think people don't know what a 5/5 review really means. I liked it and would come back. Was it outstanding in every regard? Not exactly. We got 2 free mini donuts to start which were amazing. I'll say that was outstanding. Overall the meal was very good and the price was totally reasonable. For the cost, it's actually hard to beat these days. More or less ok vibe, with a lean towards, "let's get drunk on Sunday morning," going on. Not my crowd necessarily but all good. Place had a decent menu and I would go back.

Really chill place I stopped by at for lunch during my visit in MN. I started with the Wisconsin cheese curds… that berry ketchup was amazing!!!! Then I had the double burger which was an award winner and it was pretty good. I liked that special sauce which is mayo and relish or something like that. To be honest through, I’ve had better burgers, but overall not bad. The mule was also alright not what I was hoping for. I give it 4 stars because the service was excellent, everyone had a smile and was friendly. I would come back again and try something different.

Perhaps the best patty melt I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I went to the downtown location as a date night without the kiddos. Overall the food was absolutely amazing. We had the seared ahi hi tuna chips for an appetizer and the patty melt/double barrel for entrees. The vibe was awesome as well, very mellow music considering such a trendy place which I enjoyed. I didn’t feel like I had to yell like in some place. Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!

The service and atmosphere was 5/5, our server was very sweet and attentive. My chicken sandwich was very salty, and not really worth the money I paid. Would not recommend it. The Happy hour appetizers and cocktails were good and not very expensive. Would 100% recommend the avocado dessert, it was very refreshing!

I used to live above this restaurant and it was dangerous. I’ve had just about everything on their menu and I’ve never been disappointed. One of my favorite things to get there are the cheese curds with the triple berry ketchup and the turkey burger. Another fave is the Nashville sandwich. They usually have fun drinks on their specials menu. I would highly suggest getting one as you won’t be disappointed. I had one of their special margaritas and I ended up having 4! It’s usually busy for lunch as it’s close to downtown and they have a large patio that’s always full during the summer. Perfect for getting lunch or dinner before the Twins game. It’s located just at the start of the North Loop in downtown so after you’re done eating, walk it off by exploring the rest of the North Loop! I forgot to mention the Poutine……YUUUUMMMM

Had to hit up the Red Cow before a Timberwolves games! Sat at the bar watched some football and relaxed! I had the tuna poke bowl! Also had the Aji tuna crisp and the all new crunchy shrimp which was out of this world!!! Would definitely recommend this spot for a date out on the town before a show or sports game!!

A must eat at if your in Minnesota. They have 6 different locations all that look different to fit the city and area they are in. I enjoy this location and it’s atmosphere. Burgers are great, I always get the blues which has Jam and blue cheese on it they both blend really well together on a burger.

Service was fast and friendly, very attentive. We went for brunch on a Saturday. They were busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The food was delicious. Loved the burger bagel. The French toast was a huge portion, plenty to share.

Decent atmosphere, nice staff, I ordered a featured burger and mimosa (sparkling wine + orange juice) Fries are good. Crunchiness is mediocre but above average. It's definitely a big plus when it's much less salty than usual (also less salt on the fries themselves) The patty is great in term of texture, flavor, and tenderness. Excellent one! The fried cheese stood out! Fun, creative and tasted good 👍 The pickle balanced off the saltines of the burger well. Though, I dislike pickle but had to leave it there for the overwhelming salty taste. Mimosa can wash it down well. Very easy to drink midday. Overall, very nice place for good food

Great place for some good burgers and decent drink compared to most places around. Our server was amazingly friendly and got us couple of sauces to try with our appetizers.. As a vegetarian I was not sure of the two different burgers and he explained us one has some heavy meat taste (still made with plants) that some can't handle so they have another lighter option. Throughly enjoyed the place, experience and the food. The only drawback was the noise.

Stopped in here for lunch today. I had one of the burgers and the chicken sticks (I believe they are called). Both were really good and had a good "home" cooking taste to them. Will definitely come back here and recommend to anyone. Waitresses were very nice and the atmosphere was great as well.

Amazing cheese curds, hummus plate, patty melt, shakes, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Wings are pretty good. Their sauces are unique and tasty. Unfortunately the Brussels sprouts were a bit too sweet and the burgers aren’t as good as people say; the mule was also mid tier. The truffle fries seemed no different than the normal ones. Staff is fantastic and they’re reasonably priced. Will always bring people here! 4.2/5

Great service! They split the two options we wanted to try, which was so nice! Great food. Only downfall was a little more on the pricey side.

Great place to get some drinks and feast on some delicious American food . We sat at the bar till we got our table and the bartenders were great and knowledgeable. Got some fries and Buffalo cauliflower to go with our whiskeys . At the table ordered some cheese curd wantons , hummus and donuts along with the chicken sandwiches. Highly recommend this place in the downtown area.

Mouthwatering delicious. The food, drinks, staff, and ambience is second to none for a burger place. This location has a great outdoor patio space and the service is fast, perfect for a workday lunch destination. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the 60/40 burger for my first time at Red Cow. It did not disappoint! Can’t wait to return and tour the rest of the menu.

Me and My Family took a short vacation to Minnesota to visit Paisley Park and some other sights! Love good food and great service. The Manager Josh was great full of information made us feel like we was at home. All the employees made us feel good about eating there and the confidence level was high on what they served! We all enjoyed our meal and the Brussel Sprouts were delicious. Thanks

Soooooo yummy! The service was great, and there were a lot of options on the menu. Also, you can get either regular or sparkling water. I loved that their features have some of the proceeds going to the Queer Space Collective! (Pictured: the Ultimate Burger with Truffle Fries, and a Chocolate Milkshake)
