Great place to watch the sunset. Margaritas were on point. Highly recommend booking a table as seating is a touch hard.

The please is fantastic, the view is great and the atmosphere quite enjoyable. Unfortunately the staff at the bar had some attitude. Anyway we just got some beers and some sparkling wine... we'd like to come back definitely and try some of the food.

The great Building architecture, its an amazing. The restaurant BEA on level 1 was very good. The food was really great, amazing taste and excellent service from friendly teams. Beautiful view and site location. Here is also a good cocktail bar for after dinner drinks on level two.

Exceptionally rude door staff. There is one lady in particular who has one of the worst attitudes I've ever encountered. I decided to not bother joining my workmates and went somewhere else rather than deal with her.

Nice atmosphere in this pub/club. Saturday night had the best music on, was too bad we couldn't get up and have a dance. Security was very friendly and I appreciated that. Service was pretty quick too

Really disappointing experience here. The best part of the evening was the service, as the staff are lovely and very informative and attentive. The food was average and the portion sizes left something to be desired. Whist the cocktails weren't bad, they were nothing special. All up it was very overpriced and underwhelming, a real shame as we were so excited to go.

For us this restaurant is sitting at a 4-5 stars, across our few visits. One of our times it was truly exceptional! Great location, Barangaroo is so bustling. The desserts here are not to be missed, we will definitely be returning!!

Fantastic experience. The food was delicious, innovative and perfectly cooked. We were there as part of good food month and were amazed at the consistency of the food. The entrée of beetroot was a perfect starter and the steak was tender and tasteful and cooked to perfection. The service staff were always on hand and obliging. We will be back

Great new outdoor grass area to sit by the water, but… the new outdoor wire chairs are really, really uncomfortable. After 10min they’re unbearable. Swap those out for something with a cushion and I could happily sit there all day. (Hope this feedback helps)

Staff were friendly, and service was timely. But the food was a let down. This is mainly due to the “fine dining prices”. For the price you would expect the food to be stunning, but we were left underwhelmed. Prawns were overdone, and therefore difficult to get out of the shell. Lamb ribs were a confusing dish with the popped rice covering them - they just fall off. The steaks were cooked well, but felt a bit lacking for $50 for 200g. Carrots and Brussel sprouts were pretty good! Definitely the highlight. There is potential, but it feels like they’re missing the mark slightly. Prices don’t reflect what you end up getting. Probably wouldn’t come back again.

Went to the rooftop for drinks at Smoke Bar. Fantastic bar, great atmosphere and delicious cocktails that are unique and very drinkable. The outside is very popular for the view but I enjoyed sitting near the bar and watching the bartenders work. Very friendly and accommodating staff as well. Will visit again.

A decent experience in general. First, the staff are friendly and professional. Second, the food is not bad but not great either given the price point here. Grilled prawns are good but not really fresh; aged pork neck tastes okay but it took too long for serving. Also, Kimchi dumplings have much sauce on the plate, which masks their true flavour. Oysters are great and I ate all of them. Last but not least, it is a surprise that the lychee martini is the best! Really enjoyed this one! This restaurant is ideal for occasional eating when travelling to Barangaroo.

Slightly rude management. Even worse security. Don't call last drinks then expect people to skull there drinks in under 5 minutes. The bartenders were the exception. Made great drinks with a lovely vibe

I really don’t see the appeal with this place and why so many people flock to it. It is incredibly overpriced even for Barangaroo to be fair and the atmosphere on the top floor whilst nice isn’t anything special. Unfortunately what I was really peeved at was the bloke at the front desk actually taking my card to establish a tab and not giving it back until the night was over. I’ve never been asked to hand over my physical card at ANY bar or club in Sydney; the audacity! Absolutely will never be coming back and I make a point of that whenever out and about in Sydney!

Came on a weeknight after work. The restaurant had a good ambience and staff were friendly and attentive. The food was a bit mixed, maybe just a preference thing - as some flavours on the tuna Tartare and stuffed chicken wing were overpowering. The duck was cooked perfectly and had a punch of flavours - although the serving was slightly small for "half a duck". The coconut and lime pie was a good way to finish. Cocktails were also on point. Overall, a good experience and wouldn't mind coming again.

Dissipointed that we went at a time and day that not all levels were open, but that's on us. We had looked forward to coming here and having a look and drink on each level. Check the open times and plan if you're in Sydney for a short time. We did get a cocktail each and what fantastic service. We will come back at another time to experience the full venue.

Stopped in a few times for cocktail in the smoke room, top level. Cocktails are amazing, the waiter was incredible spoke to us about what we like and don't like and put together a cocktail he thought we might like... he absolutely nailed it. Views are amazing as well, nice relaxing theme as well. Highly recommend. Already planning the next visit.

Great ambience. Excellent service. The omakase (tasting) menu is a tad overpriced for what was served. The food was tasty but flavours are not unique. Their seafood dishes were more memorable and the dessert is forgettable. I disagree with including the bao dish but the stuffed zucchini flower was amazingly good. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Highly recommended. The waiter Dan was pretty awesome. But watch out for the crazy blond mohawk Irish manager... He's mental :P Made us make our own sushi rolls, practically refill our own water and almost do our own dishes. Jk. The the staff and atmosphere was awesome, just be sure to make a reservation or they might heckle you!

The restaurant BEA on level 1 was very good in terms of food and the wine list. The service though was slightly disappointing to be honest. Great view is a plus :) once you have finished dinner there is also a good cocktail bar for after dinner drinks on level two.

Magnificent... i have kinda avoided the matt moran restaurants in favour of the neil perry branded ones since early 2000's. Finally decided to visit this one and it was perfect the food and service was equally great, perfect location and ambiance fantastic. Was greeted on ground floor upon arrival and upon exit was equal. Thank you team for a great night out my wife and i enjoyed Bea and will definitely recommend and return upon a visit back to sydney.

Amazing taste of food and excellent service from friendly teams! We celebrated our anniversary on Wednesday dinner. Weather was great so we quite enjoyed the view from our table. Had beef tartare and king fish as starters, recommended by our waitress Raminta! She also introduced a good wine for us! Snapper is a good sharing main dish and really flavoured. Had a fantastic evening in here! Will definitely bring friends and family. Thanks Raul and other team members!

We booked a table for 10 in the house bar area for drinks and a bite to eat on Saturday night. This is a great bar with a funky vibe and a delicious bar menu. We shared plates of various bar bites and had salads and burgers etc. Everything was presented well and was very tasty. We were spoiled with really great weather. it was a lovely experience.

Despite the hysteria around the current situation we ventured out for the event evening and glad we did. The spatial arrangement was well thought out and the service was excellent. The vegetarian options were great and my wife loved the pork. Will definitely return despite the situation if permitted. Well done to all involved.

This was referred by a friend. I was not aware of this place at all and it was a great surprise to find out where it was and how close to the hotspot of Barangaroo. The food was extremely nice. Had Kingfish Sashimi and the Prawns for Entree. Very well prepared. For mains, we shared a 1kg Wagyu T bone. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and with excellent marbling for a wagyu of that caliber. Had veggies and kipfler potatoes to go with the main. This is known as a sharing plate restaurant. Really well done. They had a great selection of wines and the service was pretty good even though it was a very busy day. Great to take clients or for a special treat. Not cheap but the quality makes up for the meal price.

Don't waste your time with the cheese board from the bar downstairs. It only consists of 2 slithers of cheese and other non-cheesy stuff.

Fanstasic food an experience! Bea on level 1 offers a unique and trendy experience with a great choice of treats. We shared a range of 8 entrees, 2 mains and 3 desserts between a group of 5 which was the perfect amount to try out a bit of everything. The food arrived quite quickly and the waiters were attentive. The smoked trout is a must as each bite literally melts off! The kingfish and beetroot were also exquisite. Cheers for the experience!

Im is very sorry for the one star. I have been to your lovely restaurant multiple times over the year it has been excellent, the food is fantastic and your staff are very outgoing and well-spoken. On Saturday I called the restaurant asking if I need to make a booking as it was my husband birthday, they advised me that we can walk in. We came all the way from casula, and I had to pay for a nanny to look after my two kids. When we arrived at the restaurant, a big Tall and brown skin security guard was standing on the door. He was wearing a white shirt. He asked for my ID an insulting – rude way, after that he looked at me and said. How many drinks have you had tonight? I have ( speech disorders) which affects the way I talk especially when I get nervous, it gets worse, and I can't put my words together. I told him I didn't have any drinks all day, plus we are going upstairs to have dinner at the restaurant and a few drinks. Then he turns to my husband and said, unfortunately mate , I think she had enough drinks tonight and I won't let her inside the venue. My husband saw that I was about to cry, so he told him I need to speak to your manager. The security guard said: I'm one of the managers and if I call another manager, they are going to say the same thing. I have never been spoken to or treated like that ever, this is not the first time we come to your place we love it there but after this incident and the way he conducted himself like he owns the venue none of my family coming again. Thank you very much for reading this, someone had to be aware of what happened. Anna

Worst night we ever had. Booked early for Valentine dinner, was told at the time we would have a lovely romantic table. When we got there we were taken to a cafe style table that seated 6 people. There was nothing on the table, not even a candle or wine glasses. After we refused to be seated they then sqeezed us in on an outside table which rocked back and forward once you touched it and still no candle or white cover over the table. We were then given the 3 course Valentines menu which was simply not to our taste and dessert was watermelon and something else, no chocolate, nothing. We then decided to walk out and go somewhere else. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

The burnt skin duck was a new low for me. Are there people who enjoy chewing on raw bird meat? I don't know but I hate this sort of food. Tastes like a farm accident, Matt. I wished I was in Chinatown having cheap and delicious bbq duck. Also salty lettuce dressing is not refreshing. Beers helped wash this all down. Finished with an espresso shot with no crema.SAD!

Enjoyed it very much. As we entered the Barangaro House, we were taken care of immediately by a very friendly member of the kitchen staff, passed onto the manager who found us the best table in the Bea restaurant, we're given a the cards and some recommendations, soon after the bartender showed up, asked us about the drinks and offered that he can make something special of we want. We've placed all the orders, food arrived after about 20 minutes, was pretty good and fresh. All the waiting staff happy to help at all time. We enjoyed our lunch experience at Bea a lot!

Very poor service! Extremely dissatisfied! Will never go back! After hosting our staff drinks at Smoke and closing out the primary bill, I put down my personal credit card to purchase a couple more drinks for some friends. That card was charged (without my knowledge) and subsequently LOST by the bar staff. The staff then had the gall to tell me that I had collected the card already. After asking for the manager (because the wait staff had given up looking). A review of their camera system revealed that they had given my card to a gentleman wearing a completely different outfit to me. Finding that out, all I could do was place a hold on my card, leave my details with the restaurant and move on. Later that night, I received a call from the onsite manager letting me know he had located the card. There was no explanation of where the card had been. I let him know that I'd collect it on Monday. I have now just sent my assistant down to collect the card. When she got there, she was told that I had returned to collect the card on the night it went missing (totally untrue)?! I had her insist that the card was still there (unless they had given it to someone else again). In turn they produced a box of what I'm told, held around 100 lost credit cards. That box didn't have my card in it and after more insistent demands for them to locate the card it turned up in the manager's office. I do now have my card back - but i'm told that the onsite manager today made comments to my assistant to the effect of "heaven forbid he rely on his own money for a weekend." This to me is indicative of the very loose operation that the back of house is running. This was an inconvenience to me and Barangaroo House have not acted in a way that I would have expected in the circumstance. I can not recommend anyone go to this restaurant/bar, especially since they require a card be held by them before they serve you. You may get your drinks but god only knows if you'll ever get your card back.

I came here on a Saturday night with my brother about 8 p.m. and it was quite a nice Lounge bar that was not too crowded. I think it's a nice date place at that time because you don't have all the office workers or daytime tourists. They had a DJ playing a mix of songs I recognised and some that I didn't. I don't know if this is related to the Matt Moran bar upstairs but the bouncers went out of their way to be nice to us. It has a similar vibe to Loft (above Bungalow 8) but just quieter. That's why I think it would be a good date place at that time because you can hear each other talk period drinks are about equivalent to most upscale bars in Sydney, $10 to $12 for a mixed drink. My brother asked for a recommendation on a rum drink they only came back with a mojito for a rum and Coke so probably could add a little more variety there.

House bar is a great place to have a drink and relax. Quick S/O to two staff Ben and Elias! They are fab While on holidays my friend and I searched around Barangaroo for a spot to chill out. After walking up and down checking out each place we settled on House Bar. The place has a lovely atmosphere. Music is good and not too loud. The staff, from security to servers and those behind the bar, they were all so extra friendly. Honestly, the warmth of the people working there kept us coming back. The drinks are good too. They have a wide selection of everything. They have a few signature cocktails, I recommend the Fizz Bianco. It's a little sweet side but great to keep sipping on through the evening. They have a small selection of bar food - you can never go wrong with Hot Chips and Chicken Salt.

Perfect location with a good selection of drinks and food. Super busy on Friday night so be prepared to wait for your drinks! Lunch time visits are better. Food is generally good and comes out quickly. Atmosphere is great. House Bar is a good place for a quick feed and casual drinks before going upstairs to Smoke Bar.

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful food. Wine list can be pretty pricey. All the dishes ordered tasted wonderful, cooked beautifully, except for the dessert which was pretty bland. Would definitely come back when it is reopened.

The food was wonderful, as was the cocktail. For a fine dining restaurant the view was disappointing even though the ambience was great. You basically get a hedge blocking the harbour in the outside seating. Highly recommend the steak it was divine.

Nice spot for lunch. Oysters and prawns were fabulous. The let down was the steak. We asked for it medium rare but it was almost well done. Very dry and over cooked. Cocktails were good

Great food and drinks - really enjoyed the seafood dishes, T Bone & Lamb ribs -awesome. Brussel sprouts next level. Staff were great, our waiter gave just the right level of attention and humour. One of my guests was 'not allowed in' down stairs which was a bit embarrassing but we sorted it in the end. Would recommend a group dinner or romantic dining at Bea.

I went to this establishment tonight, at first I had dinner on the second floor. The staff at the restaurant where amazing and the service was great. The food was to die for, recommend the steak. We made our way to the roof top bar and met the bar manager Michael Perelini. He was very professional, kind, knowledgeable and all round marvellous guy. Highly recommend Barangaroo House, will be back soon! Thanks Michael!

The rooftop is incredible. Great views of Barangaroo and an overall nice atmosphere. We had a few nibbles to share with our cocktails. Definitely recommend the kingfish, eggplant sando and the chicken.. The spicy margaritas were delicious too. Equally great selection of beers and wines. Table service.

A perfect place to either hang out with friends or to go ona date. The prawns and snapper(omg )goes really well with their cocktails. The service was great , its like they were watching our table all the time. Highly recommended 👌

Food is interesting but not amazing, portion sizes are terrible and not worth what they’re charging. We shared amongst 4 adults the chefs tasting menu and it was hard to portion up what they were serving. They’re trying to be high end but missing the whole point. The waitress made a point to tell us our first course was 4 tiny portion of bed rolls (one each) lol - never been to fine dining where plain bread is a course and limited to one per person. Also it was cold! They need to rethink their fine dining experience if they want repeat custom or word of mouth recommendation. It was mostly empty when we went on a busy sunny lunch time

Waitress was a bit rude & put off that we didn't understand their tab system - never been there before. Great atmosphere and food though.

Lovely bar area with good service, however the bar food menu is very limited. Many of the bigger options are fried and quite heavy, whereas the salads are really small and a little odd. I had the soba noodle salad and was disappointed it was covered in mayonnaise. Maybe some healthier options that aren’t heavy, fried, or fatty, would help balance the menu.

Great food. Very accommodating with food allergies. There isn't much of a view from any seat in the restaurant, but you can book a table in the upstairs terrace bar. There's a lift and there's one wheelchair friendly bathroom upstairs. I did not visit the bathroom downstairs. Staff are all very young and efficient. Although it would be nice if they enunciated their words when explaining the menu. We had to ask someone else to recap what the first waitress had mumbled.

Poor service. They forgot our wine, served us another table's food and we had a huge wait in-between entree and main. Food was delicious but for the price I expected the service to be better.

Our night at house bar started off well, drinks and music were good, and the general vibe of the place was enjoyable. Unfortunately when two of the people part of our group went to use the bathroom, there was broken glasses on the bathroom floor due to a group of girls out on a hens night who were extremely drunk and causing a scene of absolute chaos in the bathroom. One of my friends tripped on this glass and was then kicked out as the manager claimed she was too drunk, even though she was not with the group of girls who were causing this scene in the bathroom. When she tried to reason with the manager (a bald Caucasian man) he would not listen and was adamant about her having too leave. Due to this our whole group had to leave the bar. The manager handled this very poorly and was quite unreasonable. Service was also quite slow, some of our food had not yet arrived before we were forced to leave. Very disappointed.

Good vibe, great cocktails but the bar food is ordinary for the price! Happy to pay top dollar for good food but this was frozen super market food at best. Up your kitchen game or lower your prices. Sorry, but if your not told you won’t know.

Possibly the worst bar I have ever been to. Booked a table for my birthday and on arrival one of the servers rolled her eyes at us when we asked where to find our table. We then asked her how we could order drinks and she said we had to use the QR code on our table. Unfortunately there was no wifi we could connect to and being non Australian we had no data to use. My friend went to ask a security guard if he knew how we could connect to any source of wifi to order our drinks. He found what I assume was a supervisor who was incredibly rude and said “well shes just going to have to use her data isn’t she”. My friend explained our situation and was met with more rude comments about how we should just pay to use our data. This left us feeling pretty unwelcome. We went to the bar and asked to place an order there which we were told was fine. Drinks were average and overpriced. We left pretty quickly. Do not recommend if you want to be served by friendly and helpful staff as they didn’t seem to exist. Not exactly a positive welcome to tourists.

Absolutely loved my birthday drinks here on Friday evening! First time visitor to Barangaroo House, specifically Smoke Bar on the top level and it won't be my last time. Table service was lovely, only an order for chicken was missed but it was a Friday and super busy. The sunset views over the harbour were astonishing and the vibes, clientele and DJ were simply top notch. Highly recommend an afternoon through evening visit, especially during the lovely November weather we've been having. Picturesque views with cute balcony garden, yummy bites and a very creative, fun cocktail list in the form of an imitation So Fresh CD insert. I was running late for a 5:15pm booking and the staff member I spoke to on the phone was so lovely about it, she even moved my appointment back to 5:45pm so myself and my guests still got our 2 hour timeblock.

Decent selection of drinks, good vibes. Heaters built into the ceilings when seated outside are a nice touch. Drinks service is super efficient when ordering via the table QR code. Great lookout over the Barangaroo walkway and wharf.

The setting is beautiful and the maitre’d who seated us was very friendly. That’s where the positives stop. The service was atrocious, the disinterested waitress barely visited us to take orders and when she did, she got them wrong. It’s a shame because the setting was great. The food was small and flavourless.

Early evening. Were directed to the rooftop bar by greeter and waited to be seated. Once seated, were told they had an evening dress code and we’d have to leave. Venue is entitled to a dress code, but it was not advertised or advised before we were seated and once we were invited in, had waited, and were seated it was pretty rude and the mistake was the venue’s.

We had our Christmas work function there and we paid thousands over the bar for drinks and food on Friday 1st December. We then went upstairs to experience the roof top bar yet their waitress was the rudest and arrogant from the minute we all went upstairs! We had our. Member asked to leave with no reason and what’s worse is that she doesn’t drink. We even tried to get a reason only to be met with security to escort her out ??? Don’t bother going there unless you choose to be treated with disrespect. There was over 20 of us and we all left and then spent our money elsewhere.

Atmosphere was great, awesome spot and a vibe with the live music! Also liked the old school 90s vibe drinks menu very different and quirky! My partner and I travelled 4.5 hours to visit and unfortunately were a little disappointed with the service. We were seated straight away and ordered drinks however after that were waiting 35 minutes to be seen again. By this time we were very thirsty but were over waiting so decided to leave. We also tried to catch staff that walked past during this time but they ignored us. Definitely felt “get as many people in and out” was the staff priority. We ordered the charcuterie board and were pretty disappointed with the price there were only a few pieces of small bread and that was it. For 2 of us we were eating the meat and cheese by themself (no crackers or extra bread etc to go with it) also no cutlery was served just “fingers” for a classy establishment I think this could’ve been better. I had the pavlova flavoured cocktail and didn’t get through it was expecting sweet however was quite strong instead!
