The decor is low key in a great position overlooking Circular Quay. Service was attentive and very polite. But the food let it down... We ordered from the three course menu; portions were extremely small more like a degustation size for all three courses. Entree: stuffed zucchini flowers with scallops...that was 3 tiny scallops with 1 stuffed zucchini flower and a sauce that was quite delicious. I must admit I was taken back by the size of the portion. Then Mains: Red snapper with muscles and slow cooked Beef. Unfortunately my small snapper portion had barely any flavour at all and I felt really sorry about my partners choice of the beef as there were 2 very thin slices of beef (apron 5cm in diameter) on a barely empty plate. We had ordered a side of mash potato which was a larger portion than the mains, but was a welcome addition for both of us. It did feel like a side dish with main on the side. Dessert was supposed to be chocolate mouse with sorbet, but in reality was 2 small half teaspoons of tasty choc mouse on the side of a scoop of sorbet, with flavourless frozen raspberries on the side. Don't bother ordering this one at all. Overall was disappointed with the food, but the staff were lovely.

Very disappointing experience. Booked the $85 four course tasting menu (which is currently advertised on the website), but when we were presented with the menu, it was not an option - only the a la carte and $99 three course menu was available. So we settled for the three course menu. First course of scallops was lovely, but the lobster bisque was inedible - tough and overcooked. I had to spit each bite out as it was too chewy. We were not offered a spoon with the bisque, so kind of difficult to eat. I informed the waiter that I couldn't eat it.....but nothing happened - he just carried about his business. Absolutely not worth the money we were charged. Service was mediocre. Was supposed to be a special treat for my daughter's birthday, but it did not feel special at all. We left feeling very underwhelmed.

Relatively small but cozy restaurant inside a hotel, with nice views of Circular Quay, nice modern decor and a quiet, dimmed lighting atmosphere. Service is quick and staff are attentive. 4 course set menu gives quite generous portion sizes for a tasting menu. Pretty good experience overall.

Always good to come here every single time. Food are delicious. Healthy menu for the kids as well. He got grilled salmon and rice which he enjoyed. All selection of dishes were really good. Staff were friendly and nice. Would definitely come back again. We are stuffed as we ordered too much 😂

Had a wonderful evening watching Vivid and having dinner here. We had the tasting menu and were very impressed - good sized portions, great value for money, well presented and delicious. Staff were fantastic and even though it was a busy dinner service, we were very well attended to and looked after by Savey and Sidney. Vino the Manager was excellent and personally checked on every table from what I could see. So impressed we have already booked to return!

Had our anniversary here, staff were friendly. Cocktails were tasty and fun. The food is delicious, and the various options of set menus made it easier to choose. The decor is nice and you can see circular Quay as a view as well.

We had the three course lunch yesterday. Initially, we were a little hesitant based on the reviews - but it was a fantastic experience. The food was really delicious, prompt and friendly service too. We’ll definitely be back.

We loved everything about this place starting with the location. You are away from the hustle and bustle and loud music but can still see everything including the bridge so the location is awesome. The service and food were impeccable We selected the 4 course pescatarian dinner and it was Devine and the service was to the highest standard Highly recommend

Food is of average quality but would be overpriced if was not discounted 50% by a membership card. Grilled barramundi is too wet. The view is not too fascinating.

Everything was fantastic till we saw a waitress next to use clean a table and just leave everything on the carpet under the table.

Bland food and very slow service and inattentive waitresses despite restaurant not being busy. Lovely atmosphere and view though

The service is terrible! After spending $400 for two people I would expect prompt/ attentive service. The food was very nice though, although if you advertise "freshly shucked oysters".... that means you shuck them on site/to order. This was not the case. The slow braised lamb shoulder was huge! Very generous portion. Unfortunately due to the service I won't return

I consistently enjoy dining at Q Dining in Sydney Rocks, NSW, whether it's with my family or my husband. The staff always goes the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and ensure that we have a delightful experience with every course on the menu. Their friendly service adds to the overall enjoyment of our meals, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back.

Overpriced, small ravioli was a generous 3 pieces for $24!!! Entree came out with main meals at same time, all the meals were cold, we left hungry, no atmosphere or music. Ended up at the pub close by, much more generous portions and cheaper drinks. That's the last time with white table cloth restaurant and small portions, all hype and no substance, don't waste your money here!!

Good views. Great fixed menu lunch. The only let down was the dessert. It tasted like it had been frozen and not stored well. The carrot cake picked up the tastes of the freezer and other foods.

Worst restaurant ever....the waitress didn't really want to be there....poor service and food was served lukewarm temperature....amazingly all the food were ready 5 mins after ordering....pre-cooked and faster than McDonald's? I suspect that the food was microwaved? Will not be going back for sure!

Great location, fantastic view over Circular Quay, interesting menu consisting tasting menus, smaller share plates and larger meals. Quiet and relaxing. A good place for a first or second date.

We love this restaurant. The food is so good and portion size generous. With views out over circular quay and Sydney Harbour it's a perfect location for a relaxing meal with friends or a loved one. Highly recommended.

A+ for cuisine and location! Attached to the Pullman at Circular Quay, you'll find the restaurant on the 1st floor, one floor down from the hotel's lobby. Enjoyed the four-course tasting menu which opened with two seafood course: some succulent tuna (after some initial bread), followed by seared scallop. This lead to an amazing wagyu beef main course, full of flavour and well complemented with truffle sauce, accompanied by deliciously prepared mushroom and potato. A chocolate mousse cake wrapped up an impressive meal. It may sound weird, but I can recommend the Pink Lemonade if you are looking for a soft accompaniment to the meal. The portions were well sized, making for a filling (and absolutely satisfying) meal. Staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout. The dining space itself is as artistic as the food, and offers and excellent view over Circular Quay. Definitely a recommendation if you are looking for amazing food, views, and staff!

I went a couple of weeks ago to dine in at Q Dining to celebrate my daughters birthday, and it was amazing. The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional, the food was very good and they even treated my daughter to a complimentary birthday cocktail. Would definitely go again and recommended

The food was good. The octopus had a beautiful char on it and the steak was cooked beautifully. The venue was very open with lots of natural light coming in and you can easily see the harbour bridge. The only downside is they forgot a few of our dishes and we had to keep following up with them before they brought it out. Overall a good place for lunch with a view.

Our expectations for food and service were okay. Some of the food tastes great, and a few once not good like orecchiette with scallop and other ingredients were overcooked no staff however there was no touchpoint to ask if the dish was good because hardly did we eat it and we didnt recive our side dish. On arrival, we requested a table, and the team leader said the staff is a small team and we cant clean a dirty table now as we are busy (however half of the restaurant was empty, and some guests have finished eating). This is an unexpected experience. Overall presentation of food was great.

Two course menu - some lovely choices. We had beef which was 'nice' but not spectacular. Dessert was delicious.

I went here for my birthday dinner on a Saturday night before covid, I was not very impressed. The atmosphere, location and vibe was amazing, it was such a nice setting of the restaurant however the food and service did not match at all. I couldn’t believe how over priced the food was compared to the TASTE. we ordered a couple main course dishes and none of them tasted anything amazing. Extremely bland food, barely any unique nice flavours at all. Poor quality food for the location and type of restaurant they claim to be. The only good thing were the desserts. The service was ridiculously slow. Barely any waitstaff for a Saturday night? I don’t understand why. The service was so slow we literally over 1 hour for our main meal!!! I’ve never waited so long for a meal before, especially when it didn’t even taste good.
