They don't always take your old furniture, if you bring it yourself. Always call and have them pick it up from your house which works even better just be prepared to stay home.

The Salvation Army in Hempstead is a loving, inclusive community. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere, where people share a special hospitality with everyone.

Great place to worship. Compassionate new corps officers, very accessible and run great music lessons, after school programs and food pantry

they have great programs for kids👍🏾 just wish it was 5 days instead of just Tuesday &Thursday, being that there's not much for the kids in Hempstead to do which is a shame 👎🏽
