I gave it 2 stars because of the customer service. When the appointment was made initially I was given an appointment that was later canceled to a later date in August and when I complained to the rep on the phone she was able to find me an appointment in July. I finally came to the appointment for 9:30am and I could see that I was overbooked because there were so many patients waiting that there were no seats for other patients coming in. It took over 2 hours to be seen. When finally I had to go to the front desk to schedule the follow up appointment and go over additional costs the manager told me I had to wait for another person to further assist me and it would take some time. I told her that I had waited enough time and I couldn’t wait any longer so she told me they would call me back. Overall not the best experience I had a better experience at the Garden City office they were professional, courteous and valued my time because when I went that appointment it only took me 45 minutes.

Referred to Dr. Immanuel by optometrist who treats my Keratoconus. Staff was very friendly. Office hallway looks a little dim and antiqued by not the office. Staff was friendly and professional. Didn’t have to fill out tons of paperwork. Wait was a little lengthy but staff was attentive. Dr. Immanuel wasn’t overly friendly but wasn’t rude either. He was factual and precise which foe me wasn’t a deal breaker because his expertise is what I went there for. As long as the practice is knowledgeable, courteous and respectful I’m good. Would definitely recommend family or friends.

Cam was wonderful, thoughtful and professional. The young lady at reception was patient and courteous. The rest of the staff is subpar. One young lady was so rude to my mother she made her cry. It was disgraceful how she spoke to her! I hope she never has to experience someone speaking to a loved one like that. The doctor was fine. We will not be using their services.

Although Doctor Immanuel is a wonderful doctor, the staff is kind, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. Arrived today at 10:20am for a 10:30 appointment. Didn’t get into a room until 11:40. Doctor Immanuel entered the room at 11:58. He preformed the examination and we were in our car driving away at 12:10. Very upset wait time. Last visit it was well over 3 hours.

Omg I took my dad to see dr Emanuel he is so nice professional pleasant I can go on an on he ran so much test on my dad that his old eye doctor didn’t gif bless this man also the manager the lady with the blonde hair an beautiful teeth she is a breath of fresh air an the other girls was wonderful everybody was so nice I don’t right review but this time I really had to god bless them all

My appointment was at 3:10 at the Hempstead location. I called ahead to say I was in traffic and they told me I had a 10 minute grace period. I drove so fast and made it at EXACTLY 3:10. I was not seen till 4:40!!!! Unacceptable!! I should have given them a 10 minute grace period!!! They should not be scheduling appointments every 15 minutes if they can’t accommodate. I understand a 30 minute wait but 1 hour and 40 minutes??? Shameful. Will not be returning to this office. Go to the Rockville Centre location.

Dr Immanuel is thorough and thoughtful. His staff is attentive and knowledgeable. These traits put me at ease with the process. From start to finish, my experience was not stressful at all. I am grateful to Dr Immanuel and his staff forever.

Dr David Immanuel and the SightMD Hempstead team have been fantastic at getting me into their busy calendar after I suffered an eye injury abroad that required surgery by a LASIK specialist, multiple stitches, and lots of follow up appointments. Andrea, the Center Manager, is very responsive and a delightful personality. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking eye care.

As always I am pleased with the cordial staff and their assistance to Dr. Emmanuel. He really needs them, 'cause he's pretty well booked! Dr. Emmanuel is truly a detailed physician, who takes time to answer questions and give explanations. My only complaint would be the wait time. I was scheduled for 12:30 and didn't actually see him until 2:30. However, it is what it is. Had time to wait and I like my doctor so...

I recently moved to New York area. SightMD in general, and Dr. Immanuel in particular, was recommended to me by one of his patients. Wait time was minimal and Dr. Immanuel was caring, took the time to explain what was wrong and what my options were and recommended a course of action. It was a productive visit and beginning of a hopefully long doctor/patient relationship. I highly recommend Dr. Immanuel.

My first experience with SightMD was very informative. Dr Emanuel was knowledgeable in informing me of my diagnosis and he sat with me to answer my questions. I had THE MOST thorough eye exam in my life. The staff was kind and courteous as well. I would HIGHLY Recommend going to this establishment.

My appointment was for 3:35PM, I arrived at 3:30 was not seen until 5PM. Told the tech I was here for a follow up regarding eye drops that I was prescribed. They did all sorts of tests except the one I was there for. That led to another 30 minute delay. Too many patients are booked to close together.

The office staff was very caring patient and knowledgeable. Each test procedure was taking w/ extra care and detail. U would recommend anyone who looking for quality care nowadays is very rare. I’m not saying it to get extra side kick or special treatment. This office is a hidden jewel..
