Free parking and plenty of it. Good play equipment well maintained. Loads of open space, a river, woodland areas, gorgeous views, the train goes by regularly and there are toilets and a cafe (part time opening). What’s not to love!

One of the best parks around! Loads of equipment for all age ranges, large field to play field games and a good mile walk around the grounds. Tennis courts available and exercise machines for all to use. Picnic tables at various places around thw grounds with some tables adapted foe wheelchairs. Toilets are available though often more locked than accessible. Ice-cream van comes so a hit with the children and easy access to town center with some amazing shops.

Nice open Park with well kept convenience facilities. Also a close view of passing trains from the East Lancashire Railway.

Best Park around here by miles, lots of facilities eg toilet, cafe on certain days, tennis courts. Tremendous views of Peel Tower and the East Lancs Railway run through the park. Suitable for wheelchairs as it's flat and pathed all round. Parking is good to. Great spot for a family picnic

Excellent park! Some lovely views and a river running alongside. The Lancashire Steam Railway also runs along the edge so you may get to see a steam train. Lots of benches and bins. Toilets are opened by volunteers so not necessarily available. Some lovely woods for exploring

Went for a walk with my friend Debbie. The park isn't particularly big but it's pleasant to walk/jog around. It's also very handy to park here and walk to Rammy when there's a busy event on. Cafe is nice, but basic. It doesn't charge but you are expected to make a donation. The guy in there was very nice and helpful.

Winter walks are always muddy but that is part of it isn't it? It's expected lol but the furry boys don't care & after all it's their time at the end of the day πŸ‘ So another muddy exploration, 1st time here, have been checking out quite a few parks, reservoirs, woodland etc etc Nuttall is good for an hour trek, you have the loop around the park, some woodland & if you navigate a bridge or 2 you can walk along the banks of the Irwell so a decent little stroll & most importantly - plenty of sniffing for the dogs!! Will come back again over the next few months, I like to watch places change throughout the seasons & like everyone I am looking forward to warmer, drier days - might have to wait a while for those though πŸ€”πŸ™„

Very busy, great for families. Volunteer run teashop by Friends of Nuttall Park, lovely and all proceeds go to the park. If you're lucky you might see a steam or heritage diesel train go by, bonus!

Lovely park. It's a shame some of the equipment has broken in the gym bit and the park. Hope it gets an injection of cash soon to improve this, as we love this park.

I take my dog and newborn son here often. Great place for kids and dogs. Very open and flat so great for pram as well. Clean and a lot of friendly people with dogs. There are tennis courts and also a wee place where you can get some hot beverages.

We come here with the dogs, for picnics and runs and we love it! Always feels like there's enough space for the kids and dogs to run about safely. Having the river is a real plus as is is the play park. Appreciate the gym equipment at the car park but it could do with being updated / fixed. It's also accessible being almost flat with a good path around the edge. You can go into the wooded bit as well for a longer walk but obviously this is harder to access

Lovely park. Lots of free parking. Plenty of nice walking and a nice kids play area. Lots of dog poop bins too means no dog mess to walk in. Well.kept playing fields and kids area. Oh and even a Mr Whippy (ice cream van) - can't be bad!

What a beautiful Park! The steam train from the East Lancs Railway, regularly goes past and there's a lovely little cafe. The play park is fantastic my 9yr old loved this park.

Really nice park with a bit of everything. It's clean and well maintained. A little donation only cafe. Usually an ice cream van in the car park. Most importantly a distinct lack of chavs which in these times is a rarity indeed.

Great park with lots of little areas to explore. Bring wellies if it's been raining though, can get muddy.

A great place to have a stroll with our dog. Step free so great for anyone on wheels. There are shaded areas to keep cool in or open sunny grassed areas. The play area is well equipped for youngsters.
