Amazing park for kids. Small trampoline, zip line, climbing frames. And beautiful scenery around the area. Head towards the back of the park to walk around the vale and down the river. It really is stunning.

Very small park and not many bins. Didn't go to play area as I had dogs with me. Not much room to exercise dogs. Lots of rules about them being on leads in most of park. Not many benches. No loos. No cafe.

Family walks, bike rides, a park for children. The walk way all done up and then going into the gorgeous Irwell Valley. With kids, a labrador and the want for getting outdoors, this ticks all boxes. And The Cotton House there for a pint after with dog friendly area to boot! Love!!

Our favourite park. Great for all ages. Lots of equipment to use so no need to wait when it's busy. Gret trampoline and zip line. We attend with the kids regularly. Great for a picnic ad there are plenty of benches to take a seat at. No toilets to use is the only downfall.

Despite the photos we found this park deceptively small actually. However the play area for the kids was of a very good quality with a mini trampoline and zip line whatsit, plus a separate portion for smaller children.

Brilliant park, the lady that has the catering van and looks after the animals is amazing, you can feed the animals and she even goes to the effect of letting the animals out for the children to get up close and stroke them and doesn't charge to see the animals. Will defiantly be going back soon 😊

A fantastic hidden kids park, the zip line is great. Both children had a great time, they would recommend it.

Lovely walk, albeit not that large. The play park is fairly substantial and there's nice views of rivers, hills, horses. It's fairly quiet and there's family and buggy friendly paths.

Fabulous park and wild space where all generations can enjoy a beautiful day. A great starting point for a lovely walk to Irwell Vale. We all enjoyed seeing the different animals and were ready for refreshments available there. An amazing little haven all together.

We went for a horse riding experience to Gill Bowers farm next door. It was amazing and she also offers tea & coffee. God bless Sue x Lookingforlove.org.uk

Excellent park recently renovated. Enclosed Play area for very young kids plus some older rides. Has a football pitch and the kids quite like to play in the river around the waterfall on very hot days in the summer. Good walking routes pass through the park plus there is a farm with a couple of animals to see and a football pitch. The old clock is also a point for holding the remembrance day service which is always incredibly well attended

Love this place, we park on the road as there's no parking, but always find a place near to the entrance. It's a busy road but there's a crossing next to the entrance. The park itself is a lovely walk around with my dog and children, there's a little stream with a couple of benches, were we had a picnic and watched a squirrel in the tree, lots of nature around. There is a park with swings, slide, see saw etc. Just a short walk up from this they have donkeys, Shetland pony's, peacocks, geese, pigs, alpacas, goats, lambs and chickens. You can stroke these and even book alpaca walks with a guided walk and receive a small bag of their wool. They have a food van too for drinks and snacks and you can buy animal feed to feed certain animals. There's a stationary tractor for the kids to sit on and have pictures. We love this place on a sunny day, perfect family day out. They have a Facebook page called Snig hole snacks, give it a like to see upcoming events. We will be back soon.

Fun park for the kids. No facilities on the park other than the playground but Snig Hole Snacks just a short walk up a path out of the park offers refreshments, toilets and animals to feed - no entry fee.
