I've trained here on and off since I was 10 years old. I've always felt welcome and a part of the family. This gym has an exceptional reputation for producing excellent competitive fighters but also is welcoming and friendly for casual sports people. There's no ego, no nonsense, just excellent training built and founded on respect and discipline.

After losing all motivation to get off the sofa and do something about my poor level of fitness, I signed up for UWCB. After going to Bad Company and having the amazing trainers Richard and Lisa, I’ve become fitter and stronger than I’ve been in a long time. The sessions are that good that I actually look forward to going throughout the week to train. They’ve brought all my motivation back and I’ve signed up to do the event again 🥊💪🏻

What an amazing place Bad Company Gym is. It can seem daunting walking into a fighting gym for the first time... but these are warm-hearted, friendly and welcoming people. BadCo is a real community champion and provides an outlet for many local young girls and boys. Having said that, it has more than it’s fair share of title holders... And despite having an impressive roster of World, European and National Champions, there are no egos here. I got fitter and my children became fitter, and have more confidence, and we all made some great friends along the way. Give it a go!

My son has been going to this muay thai gym for about 4 months now, but has being doing it since he was 5 yrs old and he is now 9. The improvement in his thai boxing since he joined this gym has drastically improved. His 121 trainer (finley) I can't recommend enough and has been teaching him all sorts of different techniques from foot positioning to knowing where he should be aiming to be when he's in the ring. Richards classed are also very informative. No one class seems to be the same as you can find a lot of gyms gets stuck in a rut and do the self same drills over and over, which I know is important but can become very repetitive for a child and some would say boring. Richards also seems to very friendly and had many contacts with other thai boxing gyms which enables him to get his fighter plenty of fights if you wish to do so. It's no wonder people travel from all over the country and world come train at this thai boxing gym with in Leeds. Bad company thia boxing gym is also probably the best thai boxing gyms in Europe and is recognised around the whole world including Thailand. The reason why its recognised around the world is there has been so many great world class fighters to come out of this gym. I can honestly say it's been the best move I could of done for my sons training and hope he gets to elite level like so many have

I started going to bad company Thai boxing when I signed up for uwcb , the trainers Richard and Lisa were absolutely amazing with every lesson they taught I got more and more fascinated with boxing and I wanted to push my limits even further than I thought possible and now my eldest goes to Thai boxing and he loves and can't wait to go again

I've been going to Bad Company for over 10 years now and you won't find better training or a better family feel anywhere else. Such a friendly atmosphere whether you're there to train to fight, get fit or just generally get out the house and meet new people. Richard is a world class coach and knows how to make the most of classes and how to bring out the best in fighters. Can't recommend the place enough for anyone who wants to either fight, get fit or make some new friends.

Came here for my 12 week boxing program for cancer research UK. I had such a great time training for 12 weeks met some great people too! The owners were so good they made every session fun and also worked you really hard! I've recommended this gym to countless people for boxing training!

The team at bad company have been next level. I've enjoyed every second of working with them throughout my training period, and can't wait to start training with the team again leading up to the next event in November

I have been training here for ~8 months now, and am hoping to compete some time in the next few months. The trainer, Richard (x3 British Champ), is very friendly and an excellent trainer. Here, you get to train alongside many high level fighters. I would highly recommend popping down to check it out for yourself!

What a gym!! I started training at Bad Company for the UWCB event but have been aware of the gym for a while after following a few of the fighters on social media. Honestly the best part of my weeks were a Tuesday and a Friday when we came training. I had less apprehension about PTI’s in the army than when Lisa would walk down the stairs for warmups or abs but all of it makes you better. Thank you to Richard, Lisa and Joe for everything!

I trained at Bad Company for about 4 months for an Ultra White Collar Boxing event. Richard, Joe and Lisa managed the sessions and were amazing - supportive, motivating and positive during a particularly difficult year of Coronavirus restrictions. I'll be recommending BC to people for years to come.

Expert coaching, pushed the right amount. I lost 4kg in 8 weeks and learned how to box in a safe but challenging environment. Richard, Lisa and Joe make a great team. 🥊🥊

Good gym especially if you are a beginner as Richard doesn't judge you even if you are a complete novice and aren't the best like me 😂 despite him having years of experience and training the best.

I did a beginners Muay Thai course at Bad Company. The training by Lisa Smith was excellent and world class. Which is what you would expect from a former world champion. It was a privilege to be taught by Lisa.

Can be quite daunting entering a gym for the first time especially for someone with very little experience. However from the moment i set foot in here i felt very welcomed by Richard and Lisa. They offer a range of classes from thai boxing to mma/submission grappling for all levels. Cannot recommend this gym enough! I hope to continue training here as much as possible in the future👍

Fantastic place to train whether you are new to Muay Thai, intermediate or a fighter. No surprise it is the most highly rated Muay Thai gym in the UK and home to some of the greatest fighters. Very friendly atmosphere with great coaches. Different levels of experience male and female. Richard and Lisa go into great detail including making sure you get even the basics perfect such as footwork, stance and hand position. They break everything down and help you out if you didnt get it. Learning and drilling new techniques every week keeps everything fresh. There are fitness classes tuesday and thursdays, kids classes, bjj classes tuesday and thursdays and if you are wanting to fight on the UWCB charity boxing show in Leeds this is where you will train. So far Richard and Lisa have raised over £400k for Cancer Research. Timetable for classes is on the website. Wednesday at 6.15 is always a good class for adult beginners.

I can still remember my first day like it was this morning. Sat in the car park waiting for the coach to arrive for my PT, I was early he wasn't late, and then the big welcoming smile from Andy Thrasher who waa running the gym while the Smith family were out in Thailand. The walk up the stairs smelling of Thai oil and sweat which is what it should smell like. If you're making you're first climb when people are training you will hear the pads being kicked, punched, elbowed, kneed and the shouts as the energy is released from the fighters body. Don't be intimidated by this as it is the friendliest place I know. I thought I was having lessons to get fit but unbeknown to me I was joining a new family. I can't recommend Thai Boxing or Bad Company highly enough. The junior team is outstanding , the adult team is world class and then there's folk like me just getting fitter and learning a new skill. Hard work but worth it and there is no pressure at all to fight. New family members always welcome and the starter class is often run by Andy Howson a 5x World champ. Come and enjoy

I It's the first time I've set foot in a martial arts/boxing gym and it's was a brilliant experience. I spent eight weeks training here for Ultra White collar boxing with Richard and Darius who were excellent at training and developing us all for the event. They showed patience and supported us when we needed it. The gym it's self lives up to its reputation! 5* easily
