👍👍 The dog and I stayed here 1 night in June 2021 on our Lands End to John O'Groats cycle ride. Peaceful, pretty and clean site, lovely owners. The little honesty box shed with some essentials and treats was a bonus! I would stay here again if in the area :) People often mention site, lovely, honesty, shed, stay, facilities, time, great, clean, family,

A wonderful first experience. This was our first time camping with the kids and fortunately this is a wonderful, family friendly site. There were 5 or 6 glamping pods and less than a dozen tent pitches. Each pitch was sizeable, there was a separate area for parking. Access is quite difficult and easy to miss, but once you're there it's fantastic. There are 2 shower rooms with toilets and 2 portaloos. The shower rooms have good pressure and were generally pretty clean with a mop outside for visitors to clean the floor after use. One of the best facilities was the Honesty Shed. Well stocked and reasonably priced. You can either PAYG with cash or pay via card at the end. The site itself isn't massive, is quite flat but being on a large hill, does have a slight incline. The views are spectacular. The lady who was running the site seemed absolutely lovely. The only things it really lacked was electric hook up or at least a charge point for phones. Overall, a wonderful experience.

What a great campsite. Loved every minute, great views, good facilities, lovely and peaceful. The honesty shed is like a little tardis of awesomeness. The owners are lovely and couldn't do more to help. 3 minutes drive away from Edenfield Waterfall which is a must visit if your in the area! Only downside is no points to charge a phone (which I know isn't essential, but we were going mountain biking, so kind of was) Thanks. We will definitely be back 😁

Needed a place to test out some new camping gear. The paddock is close to me so off I went. This place was IMMACULATE. The grass was well kept and cut to a nice height; the honesty shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back with my family. Thankyou

Great facilities and a warm welcome. Loved our stay in the safari tent. 4 of us including 5yr old son and and 18 month old daughter. Plenty of space for our travel cot. Loads of extras we weren't expecting which made our stay easier. Safari tent includes: plenty of torches, tea lights and matches, full kitchen equipment, 4 x gas rings, blankets, log burner with logs, charcoal and firelighters, marshmallows, bedside tables and hanging storage, coatstand with hangers, very comfy beds. Living room area came in handy when the weather turned. Each glamping pitch has its own garden, ours had a bbq and fire pit. Large cool box in garden. Proper shower rooms/toilets, plus a couple of portaloos. All clean. Honesty shed is well stocked and very reasonably priced. Includes a fridge so you can buy fresh milk and cold soft drinks. Only two other bookings on our first night, and we were the only guests the next day. We were surprised at this being as it's the start of school holidays. Kids appreciated having the whole space for ball games. Enjoyed a lovely meal and warm welcome at the nearby Duckworth Arms. The site facilities and accommodation are really great, but we unfortunately probably won't return due to the location. The motorway noise is undeniable. Lovely view is interrupted by a huge factory. Nearby walks not that enticing - Edenfield Waterfall is nice but involves a walk by busy roads most of the way. It's possible to join up with public walkways near the camp site but they're not particualry idyllic - though my son was happy to be able to get close to a nearby recycling plant. We did enjoy a trek up to Peel Tower after driving into Ramsbottom.

Lovely peaceful camp site with beautiful scenery and welcoming host's. Plenty to do and see. Really enjoyed feeding the lambs and exploring the nearby villages. Good shower and toilet facilities. Would definitely revisit and recommend. Great value for money.

Magnificent setting, peaceful and set back from everything. Accomodation is of a high standard with ample room to move around within your plot. Nice touch with the honesty shed which is quite well stocked for most essential items. Hot water available and showers and toilets are very welcome. Will certainly return here.

Our 2nd stay at the Paddock, certainly won't be our last. Love everything about the Paddock, the views, amenities, location. A little piece of paradise to re-set and refresh. Xx

Recently spent 2 nights camping at the paddock as we wanted to test our gear before we drove further a field! Booking was really easy and the grass pitches are a good size. Location was lovely with views of Holcombe moor and the honesty shed was really helpful when we ran out of sticks for the marshmallows. The owners are very friendly and keep the site looking great, facilities are clean and well looked after. Will definitely look to book again. Thanks

Our second time here. Fantastic little campsite. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Belle the safari tent, which I'm currently sat in writing this review. The staff are lovely, the facilities are spotless, the honesty shed is fab and came in handy for the pepper and oil I forgot to bring and also for the extra wood for the fire as it has been rather chilly. The only little negative is the motorway noise at night which can not be helped and it seemed much quieter on our second night. We can not wait to come back for a third stay

We've camped here and glamped here and even though we're 10 mins down the road we'll keep coming back as its a fantastic little site. Carol, Charlotte and the rest of the family can't do enough to ensure you have a great time! Hot showers, washing up area, a well stocked honesty shed and the glamping areas have everything you could need. We're eyeing up Belle for our next visit as we popped our heads in for a look and its really as good as the photos look!

I have to start by saying this a little Gem 💎 of a campsite. This was our second time staying here my partner and I and our 2 dogs. The whole site was faultless and very well run. This is a traditional family run campsite and nothing is ever too much trouble. We highly recommend this site as you won't be disappointed. Again a massive thank you for a wonderful time at your campsite we will definitely be back soon x

Great little campsite, this was our 1st time camping and didn't want to travel too far to give it a go. On arrival the place had a lovely atmosphere the wood fire pizza van on site on a friday is a great touch, families all sat around kids all playing together. Self check in so just picked an available pitch, very spacious level ground with a cracking view. Fire pits were available to rent, the on site honesty shed was brilliant, lots of essentials inside and everything for the fire pit logs etc. The shower blocks were clean and tidy with lots of hot water, also separate portable toilets aswell. Outside sink with hot water for washing up. Various water points around the site aswell. No electric hook up but we knew this prior to turning up so just brought power some power supplies for phones etc. You could also rent these if you wished, Located not far from 2 pubs aswell serving good food and not too far in a car to Ramsbottom aswell. All in all a great weekend away with the family and would definitely come back again!
