Lovely little vegetarian and vegan cafe, the food was freshly cooked and really tasty, lots of vegan deserts. Staff are lovely as well. Will definitely be back. Also dog friendly :)

Vegetarian hidden gem, great cafe. Saw this pop up on Happy Cow, delighted as it’s in my home town - that’s now a vegan cafe and a vegetarian cafe that have opened in Burnley in the same month! I never went to the Red Triangle but it’s where the former vegetarian cafe was. It’s a ‘blink and you miss it’ spot. We walked past it a couple of times before finding it. Aptly named ‘one sixty’ and situated on 160 St James’ Street. Great central location though. They have a normal menu plus a specials board. Everything on the menu was either vegan or adaptable to vegan apart from the halloumi burger, everything on the specials board could be made vegan and from the display cabinet nothing was vegan apart from the banana bread. I would say it would be great to offer vegan cakes as well as vegetarian! We ordered a latte and a flat white, they do both oat and soya milk for vegans. My husband (omnivore) and I both ordered everything completely vegan and loved our food! Between us we had Mac and cheese which came with black pudding and was tasty and garlicky and the specials; Thai burger (yummy and spicy), sweet potato wedges (perfectly cooked with great flavour), pancakes and bananas - the best I have had since being vegan! Absolutely delicious. The bananas were caramelised and so flavoursome. You could’ve had blueberries instead. Can’t wait to have this again. Also took home some banana bread, again was lovely. For everything, plus another flat white it was £25.10. Very reasonable! Inside there is a wood burner which creates a cosy feel. There are 5 tables to sit at. Nice atmosphere with music playing in the background. Staff were friendly. They’re planning to do art events in the future! 2 unisex toilets are situated upstairs. I assume it’s dog friendly as there was an adorable 6 week old patterdale puppy in with a family when we were there.

This is a great wee vegan / vegetarian cafe with inventive dishes, lovely decor and nice staff too. The menu is pretty interesting, but the specials list was particularly good. You can tell a lot of love and thought has gone into the food with a lot of effort put in to making things from scratch. The only thing i would say that could be improved would be a better drinks list - maybe some nice craft beers? We visited on hot day in mid afternoon and was very quiet but it deserves to succeed. Good music too!

A friendly welcome in a cosy setting with tasty, honest vegetarian & vegan food on the menu, accompanied by a decent selection of drinks. I am not vegetarian (even though I am trying to reduce my intake of animal protein) but truly enjoyed the flavours... and atmosphere for that matter. The quirky French 60's pop background music made the experience extra fun actually. I will certainly be back!

Nice clean cafe, friendly and helpful staff and a good choice of food (even for a meat eater) it's nice to see into the kitchen so you know that your food is freshly cooked for you. First time visit but it won't be the last.

Mark was just warming up the fire as we walked in. He knew my partner well, but was really friendly and welcoming to me, a new face. The food was delicious, well presented and table service for extra drinks. I'll definitely come back when I'm passing through. This place have the best choc cake everrrr!!! Tried the bbq bean burger and it was just delicious!!!! Will defo be going again!

went for the first time for christmas dinner. so good they were helping others enjoy a meal less fortunate. 3 of us meat eaters and one of us vegan. food was amazing. soup delicious, the crimbo pie had mushrooms in and i dont even like mushrooms. sooooo good . highly recommend for anyone. will be back :) :)

Delicious food relaxed atmosphere friendly staff

Mum and I visited one sixty. Very friendly, chatty and helpful staff. Wonderful selection of food, Well presented & tasty. Very artsy; working with the local college displaying students' work. Would recommend a visit for sure :-)

Good food, great coffee, chilled out atmosphere Burnley needs more places like this, and less chains and multinationals selling junk in plastic.

Excellent veggie and vegan food. I went with two meat eaters who loved their meals (Sunday pies!). Best chips around. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. A proper gem in Burnley town centre.

First time visitors! What a treat it was! I had Smokey Burger which was absolutely delicious with crispy thin fries...mmmm. my partner had the halloumi wrap, I stole a bite and it was amazing. And the added bonus... we sat next to the log burner.

Well worth a visit if you're looking for vegetarian and vegan food. Quiet Thursday night when two of us visited. Warm, quirky interior, different from surrounding fast food establishments. One other couple there who finished their meal as we arrived. Friendly and polite service. Good choice of meals and drinks. We plan to go back again as we find it quite special.
