I'm always really enjoyed eating at Thai Shack and have for many years but the attitude from staff tonight was horrendous. Booked a table 3 weeks ago, the girl who was asked by another member of staff to process it seemed inexperienced and new and failed to ask for our name and number till I promted her. On arrival today with 2 friends who had traveled some distance to eat with us, we were told they don't take booking as it's foodie Friday and essentially called us liars.. There was no apology and the attitude extremely poor. Such a shame from what previously has been such an enjoyable experience.

Wow, what a find this place is, had a really pants sort of day and driving past this place was a real find. Really friendly staff, quick service for really tasty food with plenty of flavour and a bit of a lip smacking kick. Of course the problem was I made the mistake and told my wife about it, so guess what, we’ll be both coming next time. Top tip, eat it as soon as possible for ultimate flavour.

Amazing food, great people!!! The food is so tasty. I regularly pop down to the indoor Thai shack bar for a nice G&T in the indoor bar, and some salt and pepper wings on a Saturday afternoon! The chef, Colin always makes my special chicken and king prawn Kra Pow - my favourite dish with a kick!

Absolutely stunning food as usual! I’m never disappointed when I get home with food from the “Thai shack” great service and great food!

Great little bar, cool little space. Feels authentic, plenty of character. Lovely lady on the bar, friendly good service.

Love Thai Shack, great place in the cafe for a beer and have your meal plus outside seating and a covered heated area to sit, great food

Authentic and unbelievably tasty. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for Thai food anymore because the Thai Shack is the only place that comes close to the real thing.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was so fragrant and tasted great on so many levels. Recommend the jasmine rice with chicken and the tomyum soup. I can't say enough.... thank you!!!

I've been having food from Thai Shack Rawtenstall for almost 10 years! Its by far one of my favourite places to eat in the valley for takeaway and even better now that they have a cafe so you can sit down and enjoy their incredible food. Personal favourites are the Num Tuk (Steak dish) and Lab Gai (Chicken). They have a great team working there who are friendly and offer great service. 10/10.

This place is absolutely amazing. The flavours are so divine. It's proper Thai food so if you are scared of the heat, it might be worthwhile letting the staff know beforehand. We have been here a number of times now and never been disappointed. Everything is cooked fresh and served piping hot. They have a small bar for drinks and serve Singha on the tap. Also have a selection of Oriental beers in bottles. Definitely worth a visit if you are near Rawtenstall market where it's located.

10/10!! I've been going to the Thai Shack for about five years now, and I've never had a bad meal! It's always great service, piping hot food, and tasty flavours. I love the pad thai for a milder dish, but the Kra Pow and Prawn Noodle Soup are my favourites!

Wow , the place the service and the food was on such a high level !! We've had a shave burgers 🍔 The Burger was delicious, fresh and very meaty !!!!! the coleslaw was fab with a touch of a spice 👌 Unforgettable meal it was !!! Highly recommended 👌 👍

The food here is fabulous. So tasty, wide choice of dishes and friendly staff. We like going on a Sunday- sitting in , having a few drinks and people watching. I always have the Pad Thai- I want to try something else but I enjoy that so so much I never do! 10/10!

Only popped in for a pint but ended up having some wings, we had the jack Daniels BBQ wings, now I know wings and these were the best in the area hands down. I saw the the food coming out of the kitchen and the burgers looked amazing. We are going to return for an evening meal soon as the menu looks amazing too. Staff were great and you drinkers will know what I mean when I say this, the pint was the cleanest I've had in a while. Hidden jem of a place get yourselves down there 10/10
