There
were
4
of
us
in
Ramsbottom
to
celebrate
our
friends
70th
Birthday.
The
room
was
warm
and
clean
and
we
were
able
to
leave
our
bags
before
check-in
time.
It
was
the
breakfast
service
that
let
the
place
down
and
the
response
to
our
feedback.
The
hotel
told
us
the
breakfast
times
and
we
advised
them
we
would
come
to
breakfast
at
9am.
We
arrived
at
8:50.
There
was
only
2
other
guests
who
left
shortly
after
we
arrived.
As
soon
as
the
waitress
served
our
hot
breakfast
she
started
to
clear
away
all
the
continental
breakfast
bar;
taking
away
the
cold
drinks
turning
the
coffee
machine
off,
taking
away
the
pastries
etc.
At
no
time
did
she
ask
if
we
were
finished
before
clearing
up.
We
hadn't
finished,
we
wanted
coffees.
She
did
turn
the
machine
back
on
on
request.
When
we
gave
the
receptionist
our
polite
feedback
she
was
polite
although
said
breakfast
was
a
half
hour
slot.
I've
never
experienced
a
hotel
clearing
up
so
quickly
after
arriving
in
the
dining
room
or
not
asking
if
there
was
anything
else
we
needed
before
clearing
away.
I'm
sorry
but
this
isn’t
very
good
customer
service.
Also
we
enquired
about
getting
a
late
checkout,
as
it
said
on
a
card
in
the
hotel
room.
Granted
it
wasn't
guaranteed.
We
were
denied
even
though
the
hotel
wasn't
very
busy.
We
were
advised
we
should
have
requested
the
day
before.
It
didn't
say
this
on
the
card
in
the
room.
We
thought
some
of
the
staff
lacked
training
on
giving
a
good
customer
experience.
