If
you
actually
love
your
pet,
perhaps
think
twice…
We
sadly
lost
our
dog,
Charlie,
unexpectedly
on
New
Year’s
Eve
and
were
recommended
to
use
Rossendale
Pet
Crematorium
by
the
Vet
as
we
weren’t
in
a
position
where
we
could
give
him
a
burial
at
home.
We
booked
a
cremation
that
would
allow
us
to
say
goodbye
to
him,
one
where
he
would
be
cremated
alone
so
we
knew
his
ashes
would
be
his
as
well
as
requesting
a
footprint
for
my
partner
to
have
as
a
keepsake.
Unfortunately
for
us,
this
did
not
happen.
We
received
a
phone
call
3
days
before
his
cremation
was
scheduled
to
be
told
that
there
had
been
a
mix
up
with
the
paperwork
and
he’d
already
been
cremated.
We
were
already
heartbroken
at
his
loss
and
now
we
were
being
told
that
our
chance
could
say
goodbye
was
gone
forever
due
to
someone
not
bothering
to
read
the
specific
paperwork.
When
we
asked
how
this
happened,
they
just
said
that
it
was
due
to
how
the
paperwork
was
stored
and
that
someone
didn’t
notice.
To
this
day
I
still
don’t
and
probably
never
will
understand
how
this
could
happen.
The
other
issue
we
have
is,
if
the
paperwork
wasn’t
read
(and
we
have
copies
of
it
that
clearly
state
the
requirements
we
wanted)
and
no
print
was
taken,
how
can
we
ever
be
sure
that
the
instruction
for
him
to
be
cremated
on
his
own
was
followed
out
(and
not
with
others
which
is
a
cheaper
option).
How
will
we
ever
know
that
the
ashes
now
on
our
mantel
piece
are
really
his.
This
company
doesn’t
even
appear
to
be
member
of
the
APCC,
which
has
a
code
of
practice
to
work
to.
If
we
had
known
any
of
this,
we
would
have
entrusted
him
to
somewhere
else.
If
you
truly
love
your
pet
and
want
to
give
them
a
dignified
send-off...
maybe
try
somewhere
else.
You
only
get
one
chance
to
say
a
final
goodbye,
so
make
sure
you
choose
the
best
for
them.
