A very interesting place to visit with a chance of experiencing a ride on an old fashioned steam train ❤️🚂 I even wrote about it recently via baldhiker.com 🤗

Great place to visit, very nice town with lots of great restaurants, but better to take a ride on one of the trains on the East Lancs railway - diesel or steam. Staff are amazing, really helpful and friendly.

One of the well-kept stations on the East Lancs Railway. Access for wheel chairs & help to get them to other platforms. Shops close by.

Great location for watching trains as it is a crossing point. Coffee and snacks available from kiosk on platform.

The volunteers that run this place do excellent work. It's a fantastic station with great festivals throughout the year.

Only saw it in passing as I was on a Thomas Day Out adventure but it appeared similar to Bury Bolton Street Station in that it is stopped in time so is nice and historical.

A lovely village with quaint cobbled streets, lovely places to eat and the jewel that is Ramsbottom station on the East Lancashire Railway

Lovely station, immaculate....the lady station master is absolutely wonderful, she even offered us a cup of tea after finding out we'd walked over the moor from Rossendale to catch train back

The East Lancs Railway revitalised this town In 1987 and the town keeps going from strength to strength. The ELR offers a great day out especially their fleet of superb heritage diesel locomotives, they also have a few kettles for those so inclined.

We stopped here whilst traveling on the East Lancashire Railway. Unfortunately, we only had 50 minutes to look around. First impressions were on a lovely bustling small with lots of fantastic shops and places to eat and drink. Definitely planning to visit again.

Excellent heritage Station running Steam Trains throughout the year. Loads of parking Cafes Pubs and Supermarkets minutes away. An excellent day to be had on the trains and exploring around town. When it's open definatly worth a visit!

We arrived on the East Lancs Railway Flying Scotsman special train event, and getting into the town centre by foot isn't terribly easy but once there you get a great range of skills and places to eat/drink. Check out the market hall for a range of different cuisines (I had marinated tofu ramen)

A well kept station on the East Lancashire Preserved railway. Hot and cold snacks available. Toilets available. Good place to get off and have a walk about. Nicer town than Rawtenstall. Good level access. Helpful staff. Level crossing and signal box to add interest. No sidings, so no other trains to view

Would of been perfect had it not been for a jobsworth on the platform chasing me off the footbridge
