If you are thinking of booking, DO IT! This place is incredible. A luxurious peaceful getaway. The view of the lake from each lodge is lovely, particularly on a bright sunny day. The interiors are second to none and there is so much attention to detail. Whether we were supping fizz in the hot tub or red in wine in front of the log fire, we felt thoroughly relaxed the whole time. By night, the lighting is breath taking. We certainly felt the WOW factor on arrival. Having grown up in the Rossendale Valley it was a lovely way to return and spend quality time with friends nearby. There was excellent communication from Sam, the host, before and during our stay. Visit Crown Lodges, you won't be disappointed.

Such a beautiful lodge! We stayed in beechwood nook and had such a lovely time. Beautiful decor and set out so pretty. To top it all off, my boyfriend proposed and we had the most perfect night and setting! Definitely the luckiest girl! All set up and prepared by the lovely Sam who helped my boyfriend make the night so special. Couldn’t be happier, we will definitely be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed here for 2 nights, and it was better than expected. Great communication and recommendations in email leading up to stay. All the basics are there so we need not had packed washing up liquid, tea towels, shampoo etc. Hot tub is brilliant and very spacious. Grounds are well kept and tidy, it’s a very private space and super romantic. Comfortable bed and sofa. We did have a visit from ‘Bob’ a cat who wanders up from local farm (we named him this from street cat named Bob) who made himself at home in our lodge (maple cove). Briefly met owner, mainly to check if Bob was okay asleep on our sofa , who was super friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, what a find! Just be careful driving up your gear box takes a while to adjust. I would definitely come back in the future.

Absolutely wonderful stay. They've really created something special here. Lovely setting, not far from amenities and walks, only 50 minutes or so from the coast, roaring log burner, top notch hot tub and they've not scrimped on anything. It's all done up to a high spec and made for a lovely break away. Stayed for four nights but could have stayed for a fortnight 😁

Fantastic stay! Sam was brilliant and whoever organised the birthday surprise did a great job :) my partner unfortunately got flu as we arrived so didn’t get to go in the hot tub but will save that for the next time we return! It really is a magical place!

Such a beautiful stay started off amazing with Sam coming to our rescue due to the snow offering to pick us up and drop us off at the nearest train station if the snow was still there at the end of our stay. Upon approaching the lodge the area was beautiful and all three lodges tho in close proximity were laid out so well you felt like you were the only ones there. Inside the lodge (we stayed in beechwood nook) the decor was beautiful and the whole lodge was spotless (big credit to the cleaning team it smelt beautiful) they had even decorated the lodge for Christmas which was a lovely touch. Everything you could possibly need is provided, all kitchen accessories are provided and the village is just a short walk away for food. We will definitely be returning!!!

Went for my boyfriends 21st Birthday, and I had asked for a birthday package, it originally had champagne, but as my boyfriend isn’t a champagne drinker asked for it to be changed to beer, and was. Absolutely beautiful stay, the lodge was so clean and tidy, would definitely come back and stay

Maple cove: The overall experience was even better than we expected. The accommodation itself was spotless and Included all the cooking essentials, plus tea and coffee. We had a visit from the local ginger cat, who really was the icing on the cake! The roads up to the lodges were steep - a lowered car would struggle. A great place and we will definitely be booking again for the summer.

Had such a lovely time staying at the lodge. Easy self check in and out. Beautiful inside and the hot tub was amazing(although seemed to only work one side at a time but could have been doing it wrong so maybe add a guide on the hottub). The environment was very nice and quiet although the road leading up to the lodge was unexpected. Would definitely stay again as we had an amazing time.

We stayed here the weekend of the 14th of July 2023 and our stay was amazing! The lodge was so clean and tidy, views were unreal and our hosts were brilliant from start to finish. We're already looking at dates to come back! Even with the bad weather, everything was beyond perfect. Recommended to all our family and friends and would say 100% book if you're considering. The photos online really don't do it justice. Looking forward to our next stay in the Cedar Lodge!

It was as good as expected! Beautiful cosy lodge lovely location and the hot tub definitely made the experience. Only thing I’d say that wasn’t great was how narrow the ceiling upstairs was as it’s so easy to bang your head and I’m only 5”6. Other than that the lodge was lovely and would come again xx

We had a fabulous stay at Crown Lodges. We stayed in Beechwood Nook, the lodge was very clean and tidy and provided all kitchen essentials. The hot tub was amazing and was the perfect touch to a relaxing weekend for me and my husband. I would definitely stay here again 😊

Just come back from 2 nights at crown lodges we have had the best 2 nights ever this is by far the cleanest lodge we have ever been too, it is in such a good location for shops, restaurants etc. I can not wait to book again! I could’ve cried leaving yesterday morning and wish we would’ve done more than 2 nights at this gorgeous place. 1000% recommend booking this place for a little get away, everything was perfect from start to finish.

What a fab place. Beautiful and cosy and so well accommodated. Loved the log burner and the hot tub was amazing! Booked for a birthday trip, would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a romantic getaway! Situated in a lovely location, the lodge was nicely presented, very clean and tidy, and the log burner added the extra coziness that we loved. Amazing night away for birthday celebrations! Very relaxing trip, amazing location and super cosy for Halloween evening. Actually bumped into the owner (I think) on arrival and she was so welcoming and friendly. Hot tub and log fire are amazing and clear instructions made everything super easy for us - even takeaway delivered to the lodge! Will definitely be returning!

Me and my partner stayed in the Beechwood Nook lodge for 2 nights for her 21st birthday. It was a great few nights away. The only issue we had was the fact we ran out of hot water after using the free standing bath once on the first night. After that we couldn’t shower or use hot water to wash the pots. I wouldn’t say it let the stay down, however it would be something to warn people about as not much was done to resolve the issue.

Absolutely loved my trip away here. Booked it as a surprise trip away for 1 night. Brilliant location. Lovely rooms, amazing views, fast WiFi and a private hot tub! Definitely will be coming again :)

We stayed in cedar lodge which was for the 4 people but there was only two of us, it was absolutely stunning! The living room was really cosy especially with the log burner fire and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and they even had some games for us to play. The star of the show was definitely the hot tub which was huge and nice and hot for when we arrived.

Absolutely excellent .. absolutely spotless inside.... there is everything you need there just bring clothes food and beer everything else is supplied even wood for the wood burner.. freezer is very small but there is a supermarket less than two miles away.. we enjoyed and would definitely go back again...

Sam was really helpful when we had to rearrange our first date (childcare issues 🙄) and providing us with places to call for a quick drink before arriving (I had a lovely couple of gins at the Tiger Lounge bar) Beechwood nook is beautiful. The kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom all gorgeous. A day/night spent in the hot tub, log burning fire watching the football and had a takeaway delivered to us. Perfect. Thank you so much Crown Lodges. Can’t wait to come back - and maybe bring the kiddies next time. They would love it!

Remote and tranquil location yet only 10 mins from shops and amenities. Really enjoyed the hot tub and wood-burning stove! Lodge finished to a good standard - really enjoyable family break.

Had a really nice stay here last night. The decor and the hot tub were amazing and the views from the lodges are really nice. Only couple downsides were the sofa and mattress probably need changing soon in Cedar Lodge as they both dipped in the middle, especially the mattress probably just from being used every night tho. Only other downside was that we got tea, coffee and sugar but no milk? Seems strange but it’s definitely worth the money in my opinion. Will be coming back and would recommend!

Amazing experience! Lovely stay overnight for my partners birthday. We checked in early for an extra £30, there was no hassle arranging this. The owner replied to our query immediately prior to our stay & the lodge was ready in time for when we got there. Beautiful scenery nearby & gorgeous lodge. Would highly recommend.

Amazing stay as always! Came for our second visit this year and left engaged! Such a lovely, romantic, cosy lodge with amazing views and well worth the money. Also loved the extra little touches like the Christmas decor! Thanks guys!!

These lodges are perfect, they are perfectly set remotely in the quite moors but still plenty to do around. The personal touches in the lodges what made it home for home for the weekend for me. You really could just switch off and relax here as there every you need to just close the curtains and shut the world out for a while. Will definitely be back! ❤️

We had a wonderful weekend with Crown Lodges staying at Beechwood Nook. The location is very idyllic and we felt like we could really switch off. The log burner was lovely for our November trip and we were very cosy. Lots to do in the local area too. We would definitely return. Thank you for having us!

I booked the Cedar Lodge for my partners 24th birthday, and I was in contact with Sam before this and he was amazing, ensuring everything would be perfect for the surprise. I paid for the ballon package, and the balloons were amazing with the numbers 24 and corona beers on arrival! The whole place was immaculate, so clean and just absolutely amazing! The hot tub was our favourite. The whole experience for me and my partner for his birthday was amazing, and we will definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. The views in the morning, and at night are beautiful!!

Had an amazing stay at Beechwoodnook; the moment we arrived to a champagne reception, with heart balloons and red petals everywhere exumed quality. The lodge was luxurious, had everything you need, private and Oh so quiet! Perfect if you want to relax and get away from it all. Had a lovely walk on the moors and the hottub was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The log burner was ace making it cosy and snug. Staff were very friendly and Sam was great at responding to any questions. We had an amazing time with will be back, we may even try a different lodge 😉

Fantastic stay at a cosy cabin. Stayed here for just one night and It was perfect for the occasion. Modern kitchen and bathroom and a nice cosy bedroom upstairs. Bonus with the hot tub too which was enjoyed and finished off with a fire in the log burner. Definitely recommend if you’re considering something like this for a getaway. Will hopefully return in the future :)

Absolutely amazing stay at Maple Cove for my boyfriends birthday. Lodge is fully equipped with everything you need and more and it is exceptionally clean. The hot tub was amazing especially watching the sun set on a night time. The fire is also a lovely touch. Could not recommend more, already can’t wait to book back up.
