    If you’re thinking of working at this store do not. The store director will make it seem like they are great full to have you on staff. After your training your hours will be cut or reduced to zero. I went from 35 hours a week to 10.5, (two days in one week), however the store director called me off my my two only days, refused to pay me for the two days I was scheduled and gave me zero hours the following week, right before Christmas. I resigned from the company after getting a 3rd week of zero hours with no explanation as to why. Better health is a horrible company to work for.

    I have been coming to this store for 4 years now. This was my first and last time being followed around the store. The kicker is the person following me didn't even offer to help me find anything, just lurked behind me. When I tried asking them for where an item I wasn't sure they stocked might be, they just walked away. Thankfully another associate stepped in to help me. I have never had this abhorrent level of treatment or anything like it at this location.

    I used to enjoy going to Better Health in Belleville. When they changed stores things started going down hill. The customer service is poor and they seem to be mush less knowledgeable about their products. I will not go to the store anymore. I am on their emailing list and would use the 20% off coupons when I shopped there, and a few times I forgot my coupon and they would not give me the 20% off, even though they could verify that I am signed up. Everyone on the mailing list get coupons every month. I had to call someone in my family who had to take a picture of the coupon and send it to me. To top it off, everytime that had happened the employees were very rude about it! It can be used several times so why would they want to inconvenience paying customers over a 20% coupon. This never happened at the old store and it does NOT ever happen when I go to their other store locations because they will still honor the coupon even if you don't have it. Go to a different location for better customer service!

    I was honestly really surprised to see all the negative reviews. I have never had a negative customer service experience here. The only issue I've experienced is that their prices/coupons/computers/website can be really glitchy. You can order online for pickup and the system doesn't work well and will let you order things they don't even stock at a specific store. Their website quite often has lower prices but they are always happy to price match (to match their own website, I don't know if they match other stores, but they are usually the cheapest anyway). I know that this individual store is not responsible for the computer issues, that's a corporate level problem, so I hesitate to remove a star, but it does affect the shopping experience (especially checkout time...) If I were rating only things this specific store is responsible for, such as customer service, cleanliness, etc., I would give them 5 stars.

    If I can give this place -5 stars I would. We got to the store at 10:58p waiting for the store to open while the employees inside just stared. I worked at grocery stores before and our managers would always have the doors open the most 5 mins before when customers were waiting outside (common sense customer service). 11a doors opened- the blonde boy employee did not even bother to greet us (we greeted him). Nobody bothered to even ask if needed any help. Time to pay- both employees were on their phones! We used our membership account. my husband asked how the point system worked, the blond boy didn’t even bother to let us know how many points we have, he had no knowledge whatsoever. We leave and notice our 25% weekend coupon was never applied when I told him we have it. I go back to the store. The other employee that was on her phone, Kaylee, ended up being the manager. What a lie. She had no professionalism. She ended up telling me that she cannot apply the coupon after the purchase and we needed to present it to the cashier (I returned everything). Keep in mind that she was standing next to the cashier (on her phone) while he rang us up. As a manager you should intercede when an employee is not doing the proper job so they can shadow and improve in their work ethic (the boy was not a new employee we have seen him before) I expressed that he didn’t even bother to inform us our points when we spoke about it and questioned him, or even asked us to show him the coupon when I told him we have one! She said she cannot intervene on her cashiers. What kind of manager is that? A lying one. I told her this is the worst customer service and to expect a review, she laughed, I mocked her laugh and left. Pathetic. I’ll be contacting corporate. These two employees must GO.

    After today I will not be coming back to better health market. The sad thing is I like to this location better than the others.The last few times I've come to this location the service has been subpar. Today, I walked in and was not greeted - although I was eyeballed by the two working who continued gossiping. Then when I went to check out the woman named Ashley had an attitude. Apparently the customers who are helping her pay her bills are an inconvenience. I won't be back Plum Market, Whole Foods, and Amazon will get my money instead.

    This place is pretty decent. A little pricey but nice place and nice staff. The atmosphere is quiet and the store is small. Never a whole lot of people in the store all at once. Pretty clean and usually has what I need.
