The tortilla chips they offer have no flavor, and definitely no salt on them. The salsa is watery and reminded me of ketchup. I added hot sauce that isn't even remotely spicy. I tried the "Green Habanero" sauce and found it to have a hint of spiciness but I used a lot of it. I asked about spicier sauces but was told that the green and red sauces in the table are all they offer. The host or someone in the front area announces orders over a loudspeaker. It is very annoying and distracting, but maybe that's what makes it authentic? They didn't do that the last time I was in Mexico but what do I know? I ordered 2 chimichangas, one beef tips, and the other chicken. The chicken was very bland and dry. The beef tips were literally tiny triangular pieces of beef just dumped into a tortilla. They cover the chimichangas in a queso blanco sauce that barely makes up for the lack of crispiness in the chimichangas. Ordered sopapillas with strawberry sauce. The sopapillas were nicely warm. The strawberry sauce was refrigerated and resembled daiquiri mix. I told the person I was with that I wanted Taco Bell but decided to go here to try it out. Now I know.

We decided to order take out from El Vaquero last weekend. I had gotten take out from there for lunch before and I thought the food was delicious. After picking up the order and driving home w/ my daughter, I realized they had forgotten our tamales. When I went back in to get the tamales the manager refunded my card $3 (I assume for gas) and everything was delicious this time as well. At some point I want to dine in and fully enjoy the food.

This is like your typical Mexican good diner. More items to choose from then what you could possibly want. Everything we have ever had has been really good. Really like the queso. The food comes out promptly and fresh. The staff was attentive and courtesy. The bar next door was extremely loud.

Overall fantastic experience wonderful fast friendly service food was very good! Only downsize was the portion sizes of the meals that we received for the lunch size portions as their about 2 to $4 more than everywhere else in town and my steak and chicken fajitas was very flavorful nicely seasoned my wife's enchilada was fresh just not very big size portion. But over a great dining experience highly recommend this establishment.

This place has the BEST variety of foods I've ever seen. Like EVER. You'll have trouble choosing from even just the descriptions. Everything sounds so good! And, everything IS good. The Avacodillos, Good God Gertie. So goooood. The drinks are all made from scratch and not processed. Best Mexican food I've where had!

Went after work with friends. The service was excellent. As soon as I sat down our server was there. Some of our party came later but were quickly served. I had shrimp tacos which were delicious. The guacamole was fresh and all the food items were brought to the table quickly and was very hot. The only downside was the loud crowd at the bar. I would not hesitate in recommending El Vaquero to friends and family.

Fast and friendly service. Great tasting food, huge list to order from. Keeps us coming back to try new menu items. This place sets the bar for Mexican food in Perrysburg Ohio.

First time taking my family there yesterday. And everything was okay until I received a notification that on top on my cash tip my server decided to tip her an extra 15. So we will not be back.

Best fajita ever. Crispy at the bottom, so flavorful. Chips, guac and salsa also the best. Spinach queso was great. Fun music, nice neighborhood. Fast service, friendly waitress

We had a great experience tonight for dinner. The food was excellent, the service was excellent. And Carlos, the manager make us coming here a great experience. He always steps in to help his staff and make the customers more than happy. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants great Mexican food, margaritas, chips, and salsa.!!

If you didn't know already, the restaurant has remodeled inside! New booths, tables and chairs, and artwork! It looks amazing! My fiancé and I went for the Valentine's Day dinner and had truly the best experience. Service was 10/10! Our waitress was so prompt, kind, and welcoming! Not to mention, she took our full order and once and the food service was SO FAST! We had the valentines special which consisted of 2 margs, fajitas for two, and fried icecream for desert. We didn't get charged any up charges for modifications or flavors which is always a plus. The cashing out process was easy & the live music tonight for Valentine's was a great touch! Definitely recommend & will be returning!

Great service. Fast & attentive. Food was good. Didn't realize Tuesdays are buy an adult entree, get a kid's meal free. Also had 1/2 off on margaritas during Happy Hour. 😊

Tried to ask for some lettuce and sour cream and did not go well. Was told what I ordered and I didn't ask for that. Ok...well can I please get some?! Unreal FIRST & LAST time here. Sucks because we did enjoy our nachos we incorrectly ordered!

Ate there about a week ago. Everything was good from the food to the service. I was shocked by how fast our food came out after ordering. They were Chick-fil-A fast.

Went to have a nice dinner with the wife and got a pitcher of the watermelon margarita. The service was great and the drinks and food were very good, it was not overly priced at all. Overall a great dining experience and satisfied customer in the end.

I ordered the fajita entree with chicken, beef and shrimp. It was well seasoned, but the beef in the entree had gristle and the meat appeared overcooked. Service was very good.

Very good "happy hour" and decent food. My biggest complaint is the service is very inconsistent. Some wait staff are super attentive and are just wonderful, others, comedy once and you hardly see them again.

Great friendly service. Mango Strawberry Marg hit the spot and the food is awesome!
