The food here is so good. We had small plates but they were packed with so much flavor, I was pleasantly surprised. I find that many DC restaurants have beautiful decor with mid food and that was not the case at Mercy Me! The crispy cheese bites were so delicious and the pepper jelly was a nice touch! 5/5 The crispy calamari was extremely flavorful and had just the right amount of crisp. I forgot to eat it with the aoili but it was so good without it. The panela burrata was good and the brown butter cream made it even more delicious. The Cubano sliders were delicious! The bacalaitos were delicious! For drinks we had the Mercy Mule (pink Moscow mule). I’d give it a 4/5 as it wasn’t that strong Strawberry Guava Daiquiri - 3/5 bc of the texture. It was too frozen Lil fizzle - 4/5

Beautiful aesthetically pleasing restaurant with great vibes. However, the menu isn’t very appealing. I got the shrimp cocktail with the mole chicken. The chicken didn’t have much flavor but if you mix it all together it tasted WAAAAY better. The popcorn they bring as a starter was good. Service could’ve been more attentive considering we sat for about 30 plus mins waiting for our check. Lastly, the strawberry daiquiri is very strong (which is fine) but distasteful lol… I would return for the vibes but not to eat dinner.

The vibe and decor of this place are cute, especially for a hotel bar (located inside of Yours Truly hotel). Couches to sit on and a large bar add to the cozy atmosphere. We had a large group celebrating a birthday, so this should be taken into account for my experience. Many cocktails and food items on the menu were out of stock, most everyone had to order drinks twice. It would have been nice if we were offered substitutes or suggestions. However, it should also be stated my mother went here the next night and didn’t have the same issues. Drinks that they had were great - great balance and presentation. Everyone agreed the stars of the night were the chicken croquets and the crispy cheesy bites. Two of the group got entrees, and they were good, but in my opinion, this is more of a drinks and apps place. To summarize: Pros: Good atmosphere, must get crispy cheesy bites and croquets Cons: Hopefully things aren’t out of stock

This restaurant has been newly relaunched. Upscale and pricey but very good food and service. Be very careful with them with dietary requirements. Nice lounge vibe with a good amount of space between tables but it is definitely loud. The music is good though.

So good I had to go twice in a row! We went for the "re-launch" of the menu & bar and were not disappointed! The first night we sat at the bar and mainly had drinks, highly recommend the tamarind cocktail and espresso martini. The food looked so good that we came back the second night to try - see the pappardelle pasta, gnocchi, tuna crudo and truffle fugazetta (similar to a focaccia). The food and cocktails were delicious and the bartenders were very attentive!

Love this place! We started out at the bar here, then went down the street to eat at another bar and came back. Because we realized what we were missing. The cocktails here are amazing. Some of the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was immaculate for a Saturday night with the live DJ, and the food was had was very good. Love our waitress and our bartenders as well! Super attentive and great suggestions!

Drinks are awesome, pricey even when we opt to take out the alcohol from the daiquiri. They changed the desert menu but did not update the paper menu given. But the waitress was super nice in letting us know. I have the coconut crunch cake and cheesecake, small deconstructed version but delicious. Great place to hang out. Wonderful ambience. But pricey for a casual hang out.

Sat at bar. Fun, lively vibe. Initially, took a little while to get drink order placed. Afterwards, barkeeps were very attentive and kept us hydrated too😊 The signature cocktails were excellent as was the selection of beer and wine. Had no food.

Favorite restaurant in DC. The staff behind the bar is amazing and accommodating with a great sense of humor. The menu changes but is always a hit. Get their Yucca fries! The drinks slap! Kitty Claw is my go to!

Our friends were staying in this hotel, so this place was an easy choice for getting together for a few drinks. I think the menu provided most everything people expected to find as far as that goes. But I’m not much of a drinker and I was ready for dessert. Im was bummed to find they had absolutely no chocolate on the menu. So instead I went for their blueberry cheesecake and a scoop of strawberry ice cream. I can’t say I was too crazy about the cake. And while the scoop of ice cream was quite small, it was also delicious. So that was something. Service can be spotty and they are specific about what they will and won’t do with shared checks. However, most of the appetizers looked pretty good and went over well with my group.

Was staying at the hotel and sat by myself for dinner/drinks at the bar - so good! Burger and fries were delicious (the jam!!), Negroni was on the sweeter end but still great. Friendly, non-intrusive bartenders too.

Went to Mercy me for some south American food and it was delicious. The veal was flattened and fried but the inside was tender. Pineapple glazed chicken with avocado was amazing. That Pineapple cheesecake was the best. Definitely want to try the brunch.

Fantastic experience! Food was delicious. My favorite dish was the fughazetta whipped ricotta and figs! Don’t miss out on the churros with dulce de leche.

Mercy Me is an establishment that excels in creating a mesmerizing dining environment. The attention to detail in the decor, lighting, and overall ambiance makes it a standout destination for a special night out. However, my experience as a vegetarian at Mercy Me revealed a slight drawback—the menu seemed somewhat limited in terms of options for those with plant-based preferences. While the dishes available were undoubtedly well-crafted, flavorful, and beautifully presented, there were noticeably fewer choices for vegetarians. The few vegetarian options on the menu were well-executed and delicious, showcasing the culinary expertise of the kitchen. Moreover, upon requesting modifications or alterations to suit dietary preferences, the staff was accommodating and willing to assist. The service was impeccable, with a team that exuded professionalism and warmth. Their attentiveness enhanced the overall dining experience. In summary, Mercy Me is an establishment that shines in creating a luxurious and captivating atmosphere. However, for vegetarians seeking a broader range of options, the menu might present some limitations. Despite this, the quality of the food, coupled with exceptional service, ensures a memorable dining experience for all patrons.

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Mercy Me in DC. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, which made us feel welcome home. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a lovely ambiance with elegant tuna licious decor, making it perfect for a special occasion or a romantic date . 10/10 dining experience. Beef tartare and tuna crudo very delicious. Picanha and lomo are highly recommended. Although the prices are little bit on higher side, I believe that it is worth the cost for the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. I would highly Very good recommend Mercy Me to anyone looking for a special night out with great food and amazing Drinks

I'm delighted to leave a 5-star review for Mercy Me, the newly revamped restaurant in D.C. My dining experience here was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and chic. The decor perfectly complemented the mouthwatering cuisine. The menu was a delightful journey through flavors, offering a wide range of dishes to satisfy any palate. The creativity in the dishes and the presentation truly set Mercy Me apart. Each bite was a burst of exquisite taste, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every dish. The staff at Mercy Me were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make our dining experience memorable. From the moment we were seated to the moment we left, their service was impeccable. I also must commend the thoughtfully curated beverage menu. The cocktails were unique and refreshing, and the wine selection complemented the dishes perfectly. This revamped restaurant is a true gem in D.C., and I can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience. Mercy Me, you have earned your 5 stars with distinction, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding culinary adventure in the heart of the city.

Mercy me seems cute and the atmosphere is nice but I ended up being really disappointed. We were meeting some friends there but we hadn't made the plans so we didn't know how many. We were under the impression this was just a hotel bar and it wasn't very busy, but the hostess didn't seem comfortable seating us without a party number. My husband and I waited outside until our party came in. There were 10 of us. We were "seated" at a table with no chairs or hooks to hang our items despite the place being mostly empty. When we asked for a table they did oblige. The hostess kept eyeing us and didn't have the decency to pretend to not be talking about us. The tables look cute but the chairs are not comfortable. I'm not sure if this place is meant to be for eating dinner but the area we sat at would have been annoying to eat a meal at, IMO. The waiter was attentive and did a great job, keeping all our orders straight and helping split the checks since we had just met each other and all left at different times. The drink I had was fine, wasn't really my style, but that isn't on them. I didn't have any food. While we were sitting there, I saw a mouse run under a nearby table. My party was not thrilled but it was such a pain to get in that we just decided to stay. I know the hostess saw either our reactions or the mouse itself. Later (about 20 minutes later) she came over to apologize for the "rodent experience" (her words) and it seemed pretty insincere to me, especially because she only apologized to me (I was the one who spotted it). At least she acknowledged the issue, but the only offer we got was to move our table. All in all it was a pretty meh experience. I would not recommend.

The place has a contemporary classy feel and the furniture and decor is gorgeous and edgy. The service and food was great, and this an all-around winner. This area needed a good brunch place and this one has the added benefit of a coffee shop as well. We had brunch and it was excellent, and I particularly loved the pulled pork Benedict and sourdough pancake. The coffee from the cafe and the drinks were excellent. I have found my new brunch spot.

We were walking towards Georgetown and came across this spot, and so grateful we did! We came in and were seated immediately in front of the open windows facing the street. We started with a round of drinks and apps, and they were so delicious! Coming from a South American household, Mercy Me’s sabor was on point! We ended it with a light and sweet dessert! Service was great, quick and attentive. Amjad was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the drink and food choices. I will definitely be returning soon! I’m adding some pics, but bummed we didn’t take pics of our entrees.
