It was very well maintained, clean and quiet. We were in a 1-bedroom suite and it was well equipped for comfort and function. It also was great to offer a free 2 drink Happy Hour special nightly (5:30 - 7:00 pm) and free breakfast in the morning from 7:00 - 10 am! Everyone was friendly and helpful and doing every possible to assist in your stay. I'd love to go back there!

It’s not a Hilton so don’t expect the same service and quality. They have the name and everything but the manager said being a Hilton timeshare doesn’t mean is a Hilton, so they don’t have the same standards. The pool and jacuzzi are moldy and the wall is peeling off. Breakfast is not the worst but is not great. Rooms are good but the cleaning service is not like in a hotel. The person at reception was clueless about how laundry service works. Location was great because it’s quiet but close to interesting places to visit. Shampoo and the other products are cheap and full or unhealthy chemicals like parabens. I would say the hotel is really a 3 star hotel with 4 hotel rooms. In summary, if you don’t mind a crowded hotel with the feel of a 3 stars hotel but nice rooms…stay here. I had a nice time but I wouldn’t come back.

I had an amazing experience at the Hilton Club. Our room was HUGE and recently renovated. You receive all the perks of embassy suites (breakfast, happy hour, free water), but also have your own exclusive check in on the 8th floor. We will definitely be back.

Extremely disappointed in my stay. Arrived at the hotel late, around 11 pm. Was told parking garage was full at check in/. I understand that, as the hotel was full and we were late getting in. However, the night concierge offered no help in finding alternative places to park at all. She just shrugged her shoulders and told us to “park on the street or use spot hero”. Arrived in the suite to find that the sink was broken. Was offered a plunger by maintenance to fix it ourselves and told to “call if it doesn’t work”. Plunger did not work at all, but using it did result in black dirt going all over the sink. Breakfast was extremely crowded and poorly managed. Evening cocktails even worse. Just arrived back at our room after a long day of site seeing to find that the room was not cleaned, even though I was told at heck in that there was daily housekeeping. Called the front desk to ask for service and told that it’s not available any more. This is an expensive, 4 star hotel. Very disappointed that they offer 1 star service

This hotel is 80 years plus. Very charming and the rooms were great. All of the people we met were awesome, from initial contact with the doorman and valet that helped get our feet on the ground and oriented to the front desk and bell staff. It continued through the day we left with our breakfast on the way out. Great people. If you are wanting to be within walking distance of the mall, white house and most of the Smithsonians this is a goo place to stay

I agree with another reviewer. You are going into an Embassy suites hotel which has allocated the upper three floors to the Hilton Club. Unless you are a District member you will have to use the bar and breakfast facilities that the rest of the Embassy Suites guests use. So get ready for long lines for your drinks and food. However, If you are a District owner then you get to use the private breakfast and eating areas on the eighth floor. Otherwise to the drink and food line on the main lobby! Parking was another issue. You are at the mercy of what is available at the Embassy suites. Yes, you can park your car about two blocks away at the Ritz for $40 per night or look for public parking. BL: When I made the reservations it was not clear to me that I was really staying at an Embassy Suites until I arrived and so the Hilton Club sign and asked the hotel attendant. No to say the Embassy Suites Hotel is not good. Not at all, but it was not what I signed up for. I do have to say that the Hilton Club rooms were nice and modern. Service was very good. But waiting for the elevator with a packed Embassy Suites to go up to the eight floor was another delay. In conclusion if I wanted to stay at an Embassy Suites in DC, I would have made reservations at the Embassy Suites and not used a large number of points from my Hilton Grand Vacation Club membership. I even forgot to supposedly get my HH bonus points. However, that is my problem not Hilton's. Thank you for allowing to provide feedback.

This was such a great place! A lot of action and always busy! Starting with a smooth check in, we rode up the elevator that enabled us to appreciate the hustle and bustle of people enjoying themselves in the common areas, bar, and dining! Our rooms were neat, and the set up was space efficient. When we requested more pillows, they brought them to our room right away and texted us to make sure everything else was satisfactory! Breakfast every morning was hot (or cold, depending on your preference) and plentiful. These meal options drew crowds that made seating a bit difficult! Complimentary drinks every evening offered us a chance to sample something different to unwind and mingle! Check out was smooth and quick. Great, overall!

We stayed on floor 9 in the Hilton Club and absolutely loved it. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable (our only complaint was the shower was so low, Im 5'9 and my husband is 6'3 and we had to duck to wash our hair). The breakfast was really good, hot or cold, depending on what you prefer. At night the hotel did a complimentary happy hour, two free drinks, and was a great way to end our night. The staff was friendly and helpful, Jose was by far our favorite and we looked forward to seeing him each night. We had plans to try several restaurants for dinner in DC but ended up eating at the hotel restaurant due to Jose and the comfortable homey feeling at the bar/restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s the vibe and the actual ambiance for me.The location is perfect for anyone looking for a safe area within walking distance to several nice eateries. There is a little grocery store directly across the street that stays open late has some good fresh fruit and drinks and things you might want to purchase for your room. The hotel has the best BREAKFAST by far.The chef’s make the best omelette. One of the attendants named Robin made sure the entire area was clean and stocked. I really enjoyed her the most she was so welcoming. The hotel after 5 was happy hour and we got two free drinks every night and a small snack bar. They also give you free water bottles daily. We stayed for one week from 1/26-2/2 and loved it.Whenever you need an Uber or cab they pick you up directly in front of the hotel.Safety is a big priority for the hotel. I can’t wait to visit again.

A comfortable and convenient place in the City, we were able to get to our destinations each day with ease. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding each morning. The omelet station is a show worth watching even if you are not eating.

The rooms are nice and the staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast and complimentary happy hour drinks are all good. I do question the cleanliness of the rooms....when I checked in, there was still a lot of hair on the bathroom floor and bathtub, found candy wrappers under the pullout sofa, and when I finally got into bed, the pillows and sheets did not have the clean washed smell but had a musty, used smell and looked dirty. Luckily there was another set of sheets in the closet that actually smelled clean! Definitely some type of quality control is needed for the cleaning crew!

Stayed here while visiting DC and it was quite a nice stay. We were part of the District Club on floor 8 here and they took great care of us here. Their complementary breakfast was absolutely incredible with their buffet selections and omelet station. So good! The design of the hotel is also very nice and looked cool. Rooms were clean and spacious and the bathrooms were awesome too in the rooms. The shower was great. They really took their time to accommodate and take care of us as we visited our nations capital. We went to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms.

We were very happy with our stay at The District for three nights. For a family of three, there was plenty of space with a living area that had a large sofa that pulled into a bed and a spacious bedroom with a king sized bed. There was plenty of space for people to get ready as well with a wet bar sink and mirror outside of the bathroom and a full length mirror in the bedroom. The bathroom had a large shower and lots of counter space around the sink. There were many drawers, cupboards, and closets for storage in the suite. We had plenty of room to comfortably spread out and organize our stuff. There was a small refrigerator to keep drinks cool. We slept well in the room. We enjoyed the free breakfast, especially the omelette station. We also enjoyed the pool, which was refreshing after walking around the city all day. There were cozy plush robes in the room to relax in as well. The District is in a pretty neighborhood within short walking distance from the Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle Metro Stations, so it was nice to walk in the neighborhood and easy to get around the city. The District also had a wonderful and friendly staff. It was a great place to stay and a comfortable haven to relax in after a long day in the city. We look forward to returning.

Pretty good hotel. Not the best I've stayed in for the price as it was a little dated and the pull out guest bed wasn't that comfy. However the room layout and size was very good. Staff very helpful. Great location for visiting the sights.

My son and I had a perfect stay here! The bed was Super comfortable, room very spacious and just remodeled, beautiful shower, kitchen table, huge sofa. He enjoyed the indoor pool the most. I enjoyed the omelet bar each an was better than other restaurants. Also received 2 free drinks per evening which was greatly enjoyed. I am not sure if everyone gets that. Staff was very kind! We moved to conference hotel after 3 nights here; it is double the price and not remotely as nice.

Stayed for 6 nights at this property and overall it was a good stay. Breakfast is free and with great variety, including made to order items. Easy to walk to public transportation and grocery stores. Daily happy hour includes 2 free drinks per person. Be prepared to order something to eat from the bar because the snacks are basic and the same every day. Important to know that Hilton Club is merely a definition of the top three floors (doors are painted in dark color), everything else is Embassy Suites. Hilton Club reception provided free "unlimited" bottles of water, just had to ask. Rooms could be better. Had a hard time finding good temperature (room divided in two with a single AC control). One side was always cold and the other hot. Bedhead had an unpleasant mold smell. They should better communicate the room cleaning schedule. Checked-in on Monday and was told room would only be cleaned on Friday, but I could ask to have it cleaned before that (24-hour notice). I did that asking room to be cleaned on Thursday. They did it, but never cleaned it again. Very confusing. Asked to take out trash one day, the only removed trash from a can near the door and left the trash under the sink untouched. Being a Hilton property, I was expecting daily housekeeping. Even Residence Inn and Towneplace Suites I've stayed recently provided daily service with no strings attached.

The customer service was beyond exceptional. The gentleman( I can't pronounce his name who checked us in informed us of multiple services that were available during our stay. Raven gave us multiple listings of restaurants that were within walking distance and also provided us with discount coupons on multiple sites and events her during our visit in DC.

Great rooms in a good location several blocks from public transportation there is a parking garage on the premises. The two free cocktails in the evening are a great perk, as is the incredible breakfast buffet. The dining is quite good, and there is a market directly across the street. The staff is quite helpful and the rooms are refreshed every day.

Rooms were nice and the breakfast was great. Location was good for our needs (zoo, museums, monuments, etc). Had an easy time navigating and parking was easy as well. Would stay again.

Lots of surprise fee's! $55 for parking each night and don't forget the resort fee's. Nice place but I'd never return. If it weren't for the fee's, I'd consider it. Great free breakfast. Omelet station was smooth and fast. The cook (forget his name) was friendly, helpful and very professional. He makes awesome omlettes.

Truly a great experience. The room was nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They sincerely seemed to want to make sure the stay lived up to expectations. Even received a lovely dessert straight to the room to show their thanks. Also, the breakfast and evening items were pretty good. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel, beautiful facility, excellent breakfast, perfectly spotless & beautifully designed room. Couldn’t be more pleased with this stay while in DC. National monuments within walking distance, great neighborhood & surrounding shops & restaurants.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel staff was great. We ate in the restaurant twice. Good food and great service. Would stay here next trip and highly recommend it.

Great location with easy walking to many places. Breakfast was better than eaverage, I would like to see the menu change daily though. Evening cocktail hours were pleasant as well to unwind. Rooms were large and more than adequate. My daughter likes to swim and the pool was underwhelming. It is a hors shoe shape never going beyond 4ft in depth. Not the best for actual swimming, but does the job to help cool off.

We stayed on the 9th floor so when we came out of our room The View was amazing. If you are driving you do have to pay for part( I recommend you fly to DC) they have a breakfast buffet in the mornings ( I don't eat beef or pork so not many meat options😞 they should definitely put some turkey or chicken options) the staff was very informative and polite. They really make you feel comfortable the entire stay.

Anna was very helpful in making our arrival to the hotel a smooth one. Our room was large and very comfortable. The hotel itself (Embassy Suites) had a good breakfast buffet and a nice overall atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, clean and spacious rooms, very wonderful and accommodating staff, still gave 5 stars even though mask wearing is not enforced...especially during a spike in the pandemic...as I know the employees are not comfortable policing the hotel and guests.

Our recent first visit to The District was excellent. Great location with lots of restaurants, nearby and walking distance to Georgetown. Great little market right across the street. The Hotel was clean and provided room service each day. Weekend brunch was a bit crowded, but moved well; weekdays were a breeze. Will be glad to return.

Overall safe, clean and friendly place to stay. Accommodations were wonderful. Nice location to get to where you need to go in DC to explore the history of the city. Only complaint I'd say was I like water pressure as in massage effect vs rain effect. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent staff and ideal location in the District. A nice variety of good restaurants within walking distance, as well as multiple options for overnight parking. I used a self parking garage that I reserved before leaving for my trip. The breakfast offerings were very good and the room was spotless and very comfortable.

Cons: 1. Comforter has blood stains. 2. Personal hygiene supply is limited. 2 queen bed suite has one soap. Pros: 1. Breakfast is superb. 2. Staffs are patient, kind and supportive. 3. $55 for secure enclosed underground parking with elevator is fair for the location and service. 4. There is a street market just across the street with a wide range of organic goods. It is late night and we tried the sushi there, the market sushi is beyond our expectation. Salmon is fresh and creamy.

My husband and I stayed at the District in December 2021. The District is located on the top three floors of an Embassy Suites. As a Hilton Grand Vacations owner I was expecting the same type of "home" feel, but you feel like you are an Embassy Suites, same type room, same amenities, etc... An example is most time shares have either a washer and dryer in your suite or free access to a laundry area. Here, not only did we have to pay to use the washer and dryer we had to go down to the main floor get a bunch of quarters, fill our suitcase with our dirty laundry on the 8th floor, then go down to the 3rd floor to do laundry. A laundry basket would have been nice in the room and if we have to pay to use the machines at least have them so you can use a card or your phone for payment. Another example is there was only a wine fridge in our room, not a mini fridge, a wine/beverage fridge. A mini fridge, with a freezer would have been nice as well as a convection oven/microwave instead of a cheap microwave. Overall, the place was clean, nicely decorated, the staff was efficient and in a great location. Next time I would use my Hilton Honors points instead of using Club points and just stay at in an Embassy Suite room.

Good location in DC. Helpful and friendly staff. Was not expecting the Hilton Club to be part of Embassy Suites hotel. Rooms were not located near lobby or elevator which made it difficult for someone with walking challenges. Only rooms with one king size bed available.

As grand vacation properties go this was our least favorite so far. Stayed at the property using Hilton Honors points in a Grand Vacation room. There was no on-site parking available so parked at their overflow garage up the street at nearby four seasons hotel. Discovered this after going into the hotel lobby and talking to the front desk staff. Would have preferred to be notified via email prior to stay regarding parking being up the street. Room Service delivery time was almost an hour. Original estimate provided prior to order was 30 minutes. Food was fine. Omelet chefs is a great value add for the free breakfast however there were extremely long lines for breakfast in the morning as well as limited seating if you get to breakfast after 830. Also ran out of clean spoons. Which I've never seen happen before in a Hilton property. We went to breakfast on a Saturday morning so may not be as bad during the week. Not a great experience if you have small children. Glad we didn't use our Hilton Grand Vacation points to stay at the property.
