Ever since Bloom Health Centers took over CBH the care has seriously decreased. They do not send appointment reminders or send the link for your appointment. You have to email them every time asking for the link. The providers constantly leave so therefore you are always having to build a relationship with a new provider. The billing department misbills as out out of network and then it is a fight to get a call back when trying to get it figured out. I like my current provider, but I will be looking for a different organization- one that actually is set up to take care of patients.

Ever since CBH of Arlington became Bloom Health centers, it went downhill. I’ve been sent other patient’s confidential health information THREE times, and they never once apologized when I brought it up. I’m even being sent other patient’s bills by accident. It’s a serious HIPAA violation! On top of that, my patient portal is broken and they don’t know how to fix it. Because of this, I can’t view statements, request refills, or communicate with my provider without emailing the main office to do it for me. I’ve been switched between providers several times because they all leave. Avoid this place at all costs.

I had a great experience with them (and still having). Before I called them, I tried calling 3 other places: no-one picked up, the phone system asked me to select the provider by last name (and I did not know any providers, called to make a first appointment), left 1 voicemail but never heard back. When I called Bloom Health Center, a receptionist answered right away and scheduled my Telehealth appointment right away as well. Every time I reached out to them, they were very responsive, someone would always answer the phone or email. Also I absolutely loved talking to my doctor, very happy I discovered her.

Horrible practice. We tried to switch from a PA to an MD as we weren't getting responsive medication management care for our daughter. It has been two months now with no success -- they keep setting appointments and then canceling them because the providers are not licensed in DC or don't see adolescents or aren't taking new customers because their license is expiring. .....For teens who need care now, this is terrible customer service. No one is committed to solving the issue to match my kid with a provider.

I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews here. That hasn’t been my experience at all. The staff are super friendly and they actually respond to me very quickly. My provider, M. Widmeyer, goes above and beyond to give me quality care. It feels like he really cares about his job and his patients. I’d definitely recommend this place

If you need prescriptions for anything, DO NOT GO HERE! SO glad I don’t have to go here anymore! My doctor took forever to fill my prescription even when I informed the reception several times that I was out of medicine and it was an emergency. I had to go TWO DAYS without my medicine because my doctor dragged her butt and doesn’t understand the word “emergency.” I had to go an entire 2 workdays without my ADHD medication because my doctor waited until the last minute to fill my medication. And then the pharmacy decided to screw me by not having my medicine. I knew this would happen so I tried to be proactive and request my medicine early. But my doctor, Traci Sparrow, did nothing. Even after I ran out of medicine. She doesn’t seem to understand the words “I am out of medicine. Please send the prescription to the pharmacy.” This happens every month, but this is the first time I’ve had to go a workday without my medicine. This place has negatively impacted my career and made my mental health worse to be honest. It took me an entire day to do one report and I feel occasionally sick. I am in critical need of my medication. But my doctor would rather let me suffer.

I am so grateful I found Dr. Morin. He has helped me finally get on track with my mental health. I also want to give a shout-out to Markiah. She has been so wonderful when helping me schedule appointments. She is so kind and understanding. I highly recommend this practice to all. You won’t be disappointed.

Contacted them regarding potential therapy because they were listed as a provider by my insurer. Same story as most people: long wait list for therapy and they don’t take my insurance. Wish places updated their websites. Even after I spoke to someone and said that given the above details, I was no longer interested, I continued to receive calls, voicemails, and texts. System does not seem to be integrated.

I wish I could do separate reviews for providers vs administration. My provider Dr. Morin is incredible but the billing and admin team is the worst I have ever experienced with the exception of Markiah who is very helpful and kind. Firstly, I never receive appointment reminders or a link to login to the appointment, luckily I have the link written down so I am able to access it. Secondly, when attempting to schedule an appointment just now via email with their admin team I was told the next appointment my provider had open was in January. I asked when in January and the response was simply "the second week". I just replied and asked for specific times but it feels like the person I am communicating with is being deliberately difficult. The biggest issue for me though is billing. I have not been able to access my patient portal to pay my bill in months and all attempts to reach out for assistance have been ignored. However, I receive constant calls and texts about my bills being past due even though I have no way to pay it and have expressed this to them multiple times. I have to agree with other reviews, it seems that since Bloom took over, the organization and patient care on the part of admin and billing has gone seriously downhill which is doubly frustrating when being treated for ADHD... I already struggle with managing appointments and paperwork and they make it even harder than it need to be!

These people are horrible. Cannot seem to find one provider I requested even though they are on their website. Also, call center is in India (or thats what i was told) so it's impossible to get a real person when you need them. Phone tag is a game they insist on playing even when you say to call after a certain time. The last dr my daughter had never wanted to let me or my daughter talk, she just threw meds at us and yelled at me when I had questions. They also left the practice without telling us.

I have loved my experience with BLOOM! Searching for a mental health provider that takes insurance is difficult…. Adding on one that does and has reasonable availability is anxiety inducing. Bloom has connected me with an excellent provider. She is quick to respond to messages in the portal and very flexible when I have had to make changes to my appointments. She even took time very short notice when I was having a difficult situation. I would recommend Bloom!
