We were underwhelmed. We attended the Christmas Day brunch and stayed overnight for Christmas. The brunch service was excellent and the staff were extremely attentive and accommodating. The food was OK, but we did not expect much more for a buffet. The room, however, was disappointing. The air quality was poor and the thermostat could not be set to adjust the temperature in the room. We woke congested and unable to breathe; there was also a rank odor in the room that smelled like a wet dog🥺 We called and asked for a manager but no one ever called back. We complained at check out, but little was done about the matter. The front desk seemed indifferent. None of the soaps in the bathroom had been replenished in the shower. We expected a bit more for a 4 star hotel. Not sure we would stay again…as locals, we love to explore hotels and provide details of our journeys. We would stick to the Four Seasons Georgetown as our top recommendation, as this was more of a 2/3 star experience.

Stayed here for a wedding/reception. The rooms were nice, very comfortable and the staff was helpful, courteous, and accommodating. My only complaint was that at check-in we were asked what level if daily service we would prefer and we chose to 'refresh' everyday. We assumed this meant we would at least get fresh linens and the trash emptied each day. Unfortunately, we never had anything "refreshed " at all. The bed was not made,, trash was not emptied and we actually had to call housekeeping just to get fresh towels delivered, not acceptable for the daily cost of the rooms. Overall great hotel, just felt like housekeeping dropped the ball on their end. Very disappointing.

Amazing space! In the oldest part of DC this hotel is a gorgeous and wonderful space for a wedding. We've done weddings here multiple times and every time it's incredibly comforting, has good weather options, and is a gorgeous space!

Great location - an easy 10 min walk to Georgetown and then a slightly longer walk to the White House and main sites. There is a Starbucks and CVS just round the corner, which came in handy. Rooms are ok. They are a bit dated and air con was noisy but on the plus side, the bed was super comfy and the Le Labo toiletries were very nice to use. The bar staff in the main courtyard were absolutely fantastic. We had great chats with them and they’re super friendly guys, coupled with excellent cocktail making skills. Overall this was a good option for a couple of nights in Washington. We were after a good base to explore the city and this ticked the box, albeit it’s an expensive option given the rooms could do with improvement.

Beautiful room. Friendly staff. Someone complained about noise. Had been in our room for less than an hour, at 4 in the afternoon. Hotel staff could have told the complainant it's afternoon. Give them a moment. Manager acknowledged my disappointment in how that was handled. Staff aside from this super friendly. Offered the courtesy vehicle to drop us off at the theater. Offer great breakfast and buffet option.

Professional staff, spotless rooms and common areas. Quiet rooms. Outdoor courtyard pretty and relaxing. Great location. Skip the restaurant and get out, explore dining options, and save your money.

The second you arrive Valet parks your car ($56 overnight) super friendly & helpful. The front desk is very accommodating and informative, the cleanliness of this hotel is unlike any other from the second you arrive. The ambience & the decor are beautiful. The staff, including the waiters are so kind, they even filled up our personal water canisters before we checked out. The room itself was so clean, and that bathroom was just so fancy! The beds were comfy & the pillows don’t flatten the second you lay down. Everything was just so great. Im just bummed we didn’t get to stay longer to enjoy that sauna & hot tub. Super nice hun & pool too. I recommend the brioche French toast for breakfast & eating on the terrace at the outside bar. So peaceful, they have pretty lights & comfy couches to relax in, I loved sitting out here at night. Open till midnight. We would DEFINITELY stay here again. Georgetown is safe & close to ALL the attractions within 10-12 mins of driving. Rent a lime bike or scooter 🛴 to get around!

The hotel was nice and clean. The rooms are a bit dated, but the location is excellent. You have coffee shops within walking distance and a Trader Joe's . I would recommend this hotel for its location, and the rooms are a decent size as well. I also appreciated that there were taxis outside ready to transport guests where they need to go.

Half of every floor’s power was not working and the side without power contained the ice machines. The hotel staff was accommodating by sending an employee up with ice but I had to wait over an hour for it to be brought. With the power being out, the hallways were extremely hot like sweating just to make it to the lobby hot. On a positive note, my room’s air conditioning was working overtime and kept me cool. Also enjoyed the speedy room service and my visit to Juniper. I would think a ‘luxury’ hotel would ensure everything was working properly or at least disclose the issues, had to find out the hard way.

Overcharged repeatedly for accidental over charges. A large sum of money. 56$ a night to park valets are rude and drive the cars into parking garage as fast as possible. Vip all the way supposedly, but I walked to my car in the garage because the valets didn't want to bring it up. Front desk very nice 👌 people. Hotel spent money on cosmetics and not in rooms. I've stayed in a 2 star with the same room. You will be charged accidentals at $100 a night. Make sure you have a lot of money if you are staying here. Balconies are 2 ft wide, no chairs, and they wouldn't fit either way. The front desk was more than helpful, and the rooms were clean. Large bathrooms but outdated tubs for a 4 star. Combined shower and tub the tub wasn't deep. Be prepared to be charged a ridiculous amount of money parking accidentals 1st night plus entire stay payment. All at once. So 800 turns into 1600.

Great staff. Excellent service and nice, clean rooms. Slight problem at check in was immediately handled and turned into a positive. Love that kind of customer service. Great hotel and amazing facilities from restaurants to bars to pool and work out facility 😎

One of the best hotel in DC. It's in the middle of the city, and close to offices. Stafs are nice and easy to cooperate, friendly too. The room and atmosphere is relaxing

Absolutely satisfied with the service, look, and professionalism from the staff t the Fairmont D.C. Room was clean, modern looking and quiet. I was greeted by staff daily and I felt like they cared fir their job and that I was a guest. I have zero complaints and the fact that during checkout, the front desk representative asked me how my stay was, was the icing on the cake.

Absolutely beautiful Luxury hotel. Friendly staff and super helpful Sufficient housekeeping. Nice rooms with very comfy bed. Could sleep any time of day. Central location and could walk to many restaurants or CVS in the area. Only tea, coffee and water in rooms. Nuts and drinks and alcohol is stacked in the room minibar but comes at an additional cost. Lobby bar and restaurant is cute with quick service. The other restaurant had events going on so didn't get to enjoy those

The address is 2401 M St., however, the entrance is actually on 24th St. I got lost trying to find it. The room I was given appear to be a handicapped accessible room which I did not need. I was definitely disappointed. Staff were very nice but I likely will not stay there again.

Fairmont is amazing! Fantastic location, close to everything. Has a big gym below the hotel, really anything u need. And a pool! And a jacuzzi and a sauna - they undersold themselves. Rooms were great and loved the water filter near the room. Lobby was gorgeous and renovated. Love the driveway. Christmas decorations were very cute. Didn’t eat at the hotel because DC has a million awesome options, but stuff looked good

Loved staying here for my birthday. Walked many places, used the metro and Uber. Beautiful hotel, great service and friendly. Highly recommended. Foggy Bottom metro only 8m walk and that was with our cases. In walking distance to the White House and National Mall.

A Luxurious Oasis in the Heart of Georgetown Last October, during a very busy time in Washington Georgetown area, I was looking an a Presidential suite to accommodate my VIP clients, along with her five entourage. I under pressure, as I was only given severn days to find luxury accommodations. After reaching out to few five star hotels in the area, it was a fresh of breath air when I reached Max Bandarenko the Business Sales Manager at the Fairmont Hotel Washington DC-Georgetown. From that point on, everything went smoothly. From holding the Suites and the Deluxe room, checking in, check-out and every request in between ... ie ... finding a misdelivered package, assisting my client to their rooms and delivering extra amenities. My client called as soon as they checked-out and requested that a thank you be sent to the hotel staff, and especially to Max for job well done. They really felt welcomed and all their needs were attended to. Because of job well done and the attention to the details, they recently returned to the Fairmont Hotel for another three night stay. This time, they also had me book some of their family members, office staff and friends for a total of 18 rooms and suites. They called to let me know this time went much smoother than the first. *** Thank you Max - you are my hero!

Great stay and thoroughly enjoyed! Starbucks right across the street as well as a delicious 5-star restaurant, Blue Duck, you've got to try. Hotel bar is comfy along with the beautiful patio that had live jazz. Not far from scenic views and tourist attractions. Closest to the Ronald Reagan Airport. Definitely worth the visit.

It was nice, but not quite 4⭐ Rooms could use a refresher. Sometimes the housekeeping and front desk didn't answer the phones. I think there are better hotel experiences in this price point

Service was absolutely top notch. From the second you arrive at the door, everyone is attentive, polite, helpful and no one is waiting for a tip. It was a pleasure to compensate people for their kindness here, unlike other places where a tip is expected no matter what anyone does. The rooms are not ornate, but impeccably clean and new. Lounge area and restaurant were alos quite good. We travel to DC often, we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Fairmont for 4 days during the New Year’s week and really enjoyed our stay! This hotel is amazing and located within walking distance to Georgetown, DuPont Circle and many DC attractions. The hotel is luxurious and has excellent service! Even during these difficult Covid times, the staff never missed a beat! The hotel has a very comfortable lobby area and outside courtyard for relaxing, having a drink or a meal. The staff could not be more welcoming and helpful! I would put this Fairmont up against any Ritz Carlton we have stayed in before! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Masks are required. The facility is clean and amenities are readily available. Pool is nice. CrossFit classes are available. Park is school parking lot down the street for free parking and to avoid meter maids.

*Weddings* As a wedding photographer (LVERphoto.com), this is one of my favorite spots in DC. It is elegant, spacious and full of light - which means that rain or shine, there are so many options for photo locations. The suites overlooking the courtyard are spacious and beautiful and the staff is absolutely fantastic. Our team has been here several times at different parts of the year, and every time we've been here, we've really loved every part of it. We'd highly recommend the Fairmont as a wedding venue to engaged couples looking for a chic spot in the city to host an epic party! - Sarah

Customer service was great.. Room was awesome. The ambiance of this hotel is great for wedding. The only thing I did not care for was the chicken sausage at breakfast. Close to Rock Park

The rooms are overrated. It stayed hot in there. No air or fan in the bathroom. We had to take cool showers so we wouldn't suffocate, in doing that, we had low water pressure. The servers in the lounge kept disappearing. We had to go find them every time we needed something. The whole hotel smelled so great. I loved it. It was clean and beautiful. The employees were very nice and helpful.

I went to the hotel to attend a luncheon. Everything was done professionally from the Valet to entrance into the hotel. It was clean and inviting. We were escorted to reception area, check in, and inside to the venue with professionalism from the staff. The food was excellent and presented it in order. They catered to every need that we had from a coffee, more utensils, to food options they provide. I will return.

Pathetic staff and Managers. There were so many issues since we arrive at this hotel but we ignored them and checked out. They charged us twice for the same stay. We reached out to the hotel with all details to refund the amount they charged without our authorization on August 24, 2022, and followed up several times via email. No one has come back to us yet. I am posting this review in hope that they will reach out to me and process a refund. It's been more than 15 days now.

Beautiful, well-maintained hotel. Safe and convenient location in Georgetown, about a 10-minute walk to both the Foggy Bottom and Dupont metro stops. Friendly staff and clean, quiet rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will keep in mind next time we visit DC! If you are driving, just make sure to budget for the overnight valet parking.

Great hotel and a convenient location in foggy bottom/Georgetown. The staff is really friendly. But probably my favorite thing about this hotel is that it sits on top of a balance gym. That’s when it was super convenient to work out every morning. There was also really large and comfortable.

Hotel is clean and very nice. The only problem I had was no vending machines for us to get drinks. They do have 24hr room service so that's a plus. Rooms were spacious and well kept.

Yes I think this is a very overpriced hotel room was very hot and outdated. There are a few people here that have tested positive for coded and they are walking around sitting down eating in the restaurants with no masks on they came on the Queen Mary 2. So be warned and be careful that there are people walking around here we covered not wearing masks and yes they are British lol

Quiet location within walking distance of sites and the metro. Maintains a certain elegance rather than charm. Clean, inviting room. Adult rather than child oriented. Wouldn't have wanted to bring the kids.

Nice renovated property with amenities including gym, sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. The rooms are modern and spacious, corridors and lift halls clean and well maintained. The lobby is spacious, well lit with plenty of seating space. Staff at front desk was courteous and helpful. Lobby bar and Courtyard bar staff was also friendly and knowledgeable about activities within the hotel vicinity. Hotel is within walking distance to White House and short ride to mall and other monuments. Public transports and taxis are available on the doorstep. Street parking is also available in addition to plenty of parking garages. Breakfast buffet could have more variety. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Nice property, good venue for a conference. Rooms are very nice and the staff is friendly and attentive. My only knock is the wifi network is pretty bad. It was difficult to participate in Teams calls. Everything else was great - especially if you need to be in the Georgetown area.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a place. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you will love it I'm sure! This hotel had the best accommodation for their guest. They will really guide you in your room and will assist whatever concern you will have. I had enjoyed my two days stay here. Five stars!
