I understand the current watch market and luxury goods market - there are waitlists and backlogs of orders, I get it. My experience with TJB was bad enough for me to spend the time to write a review. I tried to purchase a Rose Gold Rolex watch from this store and knew I would have to wait several months but was told no waiting and instead I needed to “purchase other low desirable items first” to “build a relationship with them”. I don’t think that’s how Rolex wants it’s retailers selling their watches, forcing customers to buy other brands first. I was offered an ugly undesirable Patek and told I had to buy it if I wanted any chance at my Rose Gold Rolex. I of course passed. Liljenquest & Beckstead (further away) did not do this with me and added me to their waitlist and sold me a different Rolex model without requiring me to buy anything else from them. Stay away from TJB and their unprofessional greedy sales tactics.

Absolutely terrible place to shop!!! Stay so far away from this business. I was ready to buy a $7k IWC watch of my dreams. I’ve been looking for this model forever..I had the cash in my pocket. I got a phone call at the store confirmed by the client I just made a huge business deal!!!! I just found out I made over 1 million $ from an artist from the the night before. Of course i was a bit excited. They didn’t like my energy and had security escort me out?!!?! If you find yourself in this joke of a business find the sales person George he was fantastic!!! I’d give this place negative stars if possible. I’m in the music business. I’m a nice kind human being. This is first review I’ve ever wrote. I came back later in the afternoon to buy the watch as it is my dream piece but the only sales person George that had a soul was at lunch so they lost a 7k sale.. please don’t shop at this horrible place

I’ve always felt a sense of warm welcoming here from the first moment I visited a few months ago. From the man greeting me to my right when I first walk in, to Brian the most helpful and kind person that guided me through my experience, and to Matt the owner who makes you feel like he just welcomed you to his own home. The quality of service and attention to detail working with Brian is beyond what my expectations were. I spoke with Moe W. during my visit to the Tiny Jewel Box. This is a certainly a destination for any watch collector that is visiting the DC area. Moe was very knowledgeable about each brand and it was very clear that he was not just a sales specialist but a true enthusiast and collector himself. I also had the pleasure of meeting the GM of the store who was nice enough to give me a preview of their new Rolex store! The space itself is grandiose and luxurious. In addition, they had one of the nicest Patek Salons I’ve ever visited. The space overall felt comfortable and focused on the shopper experience.

We came into Tiny Jewel Box looking for a Rolex as a wedding gift for my fiance. Every other retailer we spoke to told us there was no way we could get any Rolex in time, let alone the much sought-after Submariner that we wanted. Luckily, we met Brian at Tiny Jewel Box who was able to make the impossible possible and got us the exact watch (down to the face color) that my fiance wanted--four months early! Our experience shopping with Tiny Jewel Box was nothing short of amazing, and we will be customers for life. I would recommend this store to anyone.

While, I am not a person who fits the bill of Tiny Jewel Box's "typical customer", I have been to this store a few times. Mostly to get batteries replaced for my timepieces. In all of my visits I have been happy with their customer service and quality of work. The timepiece strap change or new battery installation has also included a tune-up on the watch. My timepieces have come back looking cleaner, and "younger" :) The service is good here (if you are okay with a little sense of elitist attitude that comes with a place like this). They do have a good collection of timepieces and jewelry to look at and buy (if you can afford it).

I went into the Tine Jewel Box this Saturday to look at several watches with a friend, and Roberto was very accommodating and friendly. Jewelry stores can feel overwhelming and intimidating, but Roberto made me feel right at home. Roberto and the Jewel Box will be my exclusive shop for all my timepiece and jewelry needs moving forward. The service and experience was much appreciated.

This is my custom engagement ring. It was crafted from a design I sketched out. My fiancé used his parents wedding rings which had diamonds and a loose sapphire his family had kept. These pictures don’t do it justice. The ring is the most beautiful jewelry I own now. The experience working with Alicia Arnold was great. She created a mold of the ring for me to try on before it was created. I got to weigh in on every step. Very good experience that will have me going back for other custom jewelry needs in the future.

Needless to say Moe is phenomenal and is truly a great representative of the Rolex brand. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and followed up with me every step of the way. My wife purchased my wedding band here; the service was about average for a high-end/luxury jewelry store. My comment is directed toward Alicia Arnold, director of custom design. Alicia's condescending tone, arrogance, and passive-aggressiveness during the design process for a custom engagement ring setting caused my wife and I to sever ties with her. We tried to see past her comments and tone, and focus on her designs instead. While she "checked the boxes" and created a design based on my preferences, we had asked her to bring her own creativity and expertise to another round of CAD, and provide options. She did not. I came up with another design idea which she translated, but it was uninspired and far from the photographs I had sent as examples. Through her unprofessional behavior, Alicia made it clear that she did not want to be working with us, which is an unfortunate commentary on her own insecurities. We had really wanted to like her, and tried patiently to that end. Thankfully, the Tiny Jewel Box didn't ask any questions when I called, and they gladly refunded our downpayment -- perhaps an acknowledgement from management that we were not the first to have this experience with their CAD designer.

Tiny Jewel Box's customer service is extraordinary. I am not a big jewelry person but received a lovely David Yurman bracelet as a gift from TJB. Unfortunately, only a year after receiving the bracelet, one of the pearls at the end of the cable bracelet fell off. I was quite surprised by this happening because I thought DY had a reputation for quality. I first contacted DY to inquire about a repair however they claimed it was no longer under warranty so I would have to pay out of pocket for the repair. Again, not being a big jewelry person, I don't know if that is standard protocol but I guess I naively thought jewelers such as DY made bracelets that were supposed to hold up longer than a year. Nevertheless, I called TJB, spoke with Monette Corrigan (the consummate customer service professional) who quickly helped me with the issue and explained TJB would take care of the repair. I cannot thank Monette and her team enough for helping me. For someone who used to eye the Tiny Jewel Box with the same wishful admiration Holly Golightly gave Tiffany's; I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with the professionalism, respect and genuine customer service I received at the Tiny Jewel Box.

Fantastic experience from each employee I have met there. But more specifically, my wife and had a wonderful shopping experience with Brian Ehteshami when we tried on and later purchased a Rolex. Great jewelry and watch boutique in DC! I recently acquired a new timepiece that I had been looking for from Tiny Jewel Box. Both Jorge and Roberto from the watch team were fantastic to work with. Both are very knowledgable, across various brands, and they each offered incredible customer service...something that I fear some watch ADs no longer offer. I had a great experience working with both of them. It should also be noted that Ben, from their watch repair/service team, took the time to chat about my new watch after sizing the bracelet for me. Jim, the store's owner, chatted with me for a bit and I enjoyed our conversation about the history of the store. I was fortunate to work with Brian in my pursuit of a Patek Phillipe. After researching my "wish list" time pieces, I was able to find and purchase an amazing Patek example. This experience was facilitated by Brian, with whom I look forward to working with again (and again). Very good diamond selection, competitive prices, and amazing customer service. Also, while in the store, I inquired about a few watches I am interested in acquiring. Although the watches weren’t available at that moment, Jorge answered all my questions, showed other models, and did a great job explaining the state of affairs on the watch market. Very unfriendly service

I was there about 3 weeks ago after I was promoted and looking to add to my watch collection. Looking for a tag heuer around $1500. We (wife and me) dressed casually as it was Saturday. We didn’t have anybody talk to us for like 20 minutes. We were just waiting and nothing. There was available staff but they chose not to assist us. Their preconceptions and racism (I’m latino and she’s Turkish) cost them 1500 and more importantly a customer for life. Do not shop there if you care.

Just popped in today for the first time to ask some questions about certain watch models I’m interested in. Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and genuine. I had a great conversation with Steven and the lady near the front desk. Everyone else in the store greeted me as I was browsing. Felt quite comfortable, and had a great experience overall!

Amazing customer service, and the SA made my purchase a true experience - it wasn't like just buying a watch. If you don't know much about jewelry, know a little, or know a lot, they'll take care of you. I been there in 2019 and purchased a Rolex and went back this year and purchased another rolex. Only thing changed was the shipping that if shipped in DMV YOU WILL NOW PAY TAXES.

I love coming here because of the people. Most of the folks there I've known for 8 and a half years and made a few circle of watch friends here too. I come here when I'm in the area when I'm in the D.C. area it an amazing little gem near Dupont Circle. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a special watch or jewelry for that special person in your life.

Wow! Great place to visit my first ever authorized dealer in the world. The staff were super knowledgeable, very kind, and very helpful. Their collection of watches was absolutely magnificent: IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, and Frederique Constant. A really great lineup of diverse watchmakers, all of which you can easily try on if you ask! The staff also de-magnetized my watch without any fuss, which was very kind on their part! The CEO, Jim Rosenheim was there, and was very kind to me! Great experience, and would definitely visit again when in DC!

I cannot recommend Tiny Jewel Box highly enough for your one-stop shop location for any high-end jewelry or watches in the Washington DC area! I moved to the DC area (Fairfax, VA) 2 years ago from NYC and visited almost all the high-end jewelry stores in the area looking to form a local relationship as DC was my new home. There were places in Tyson’s Galleria that were downright awful, dismissive, and rude to new customers. I get it, they are in high-traffic mall areas and really can’t be bothered with helping another “client” when they have hundreds of other already lined-up. A friend and co-worker of mine recommended I head into DC proper to visit Tiny Jewel, on my first visit we were greeted warmly by the staff, offered water and a tour of the store’s different sections and Pouriya provided us the best sales experience I have ever experienced at a luxury goods store to my wife and I as we got her lovely ladies Rolex Datejust on our first visit! My wife and I are big watch enthusiasts and since that day, we have found that relationship with our own local store that we have been looking for. The staff, especially Pouriya and the sales director Monette are so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable with the products and services they offered. We are customers for life at Tiny Jewel Box, it’s the people and the experience that makes the difference in the end when you are spending money on luxury goods and if that matters to you, you will not be disappointed!
