My husband and I stay at hotels all over the country At this time we are transitioning to a new company and had to stay in the Alpharetta area for a week. We chose to stay at this extended stay hotel because Alpharetta has a good reputation. This extended stay far exceeded our expectations. We had initially decided to stay for just two days because we expected this place to be a dump like the last one we stayed in which was roach-infested and the cops were there nearly everyday. The Town place suites by Marriott impressed us so, we decided to book the room for an entire week. The area is nice the people/residents are respectful. But that's what you come to expect in the city of Alpharetta. This place deserves five stars all the way! My husband and I have come here for the second time 11/24/23. However, this time we're in the other building. The last time we were here, they were renovating this building. Also, the last time we were here we were in a room set up exactly the same. But we're in a different building. This time, we had to go outside to the other building for breakfast. No problem because I really like this place. Once again, this was a great experience. This will be our go to place when we're in the Atlanta area. The kitchen gets me for sure as well as cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. TownPlace Suites by Marriott...Thanks again for a great stay 🥰

Great location. Nice decent hotel. Staff were okay. My biggest concern. However, our room had so much DOG & other human hair everywhere! Sheets was not changed with hair. Hair behind toilet and a used towel left behind toilet. Hair piled up on lamp shades! Hair on the couches. Hair in drawers. Dishes was filthy and ONLY wiped off/out. Asked for a vacuum to get all the hair off the floor, we were sent two VACUUMS that did not work. Which explains the dog hair being all over the carpets and furniture, maybe? I understand maybe staffing being an issue but this was completely unacceptable & should not have been labeled ready, sanitized, & cleaned because it wasn’t.

Wonderful home away from home. Rooms are huge, clean and comfortable! Staff is very friendly and accomodating, they go above and beyond what they are required to do. Ex:came home from work to clean towels in a fresh bag hanging on the door, we have a do not disturb sign up because we have two pups but they know we need fresh towels!! We have been here for a little over 5 weeks now and love everything. The pool, breakfast, housekeeping, front desk and the manager are amazing!! Highly recommend and definitely will continue to stay until we find our home!

The front desk staff was always really nice. I understand everyone is understaffed at the moment but we didn't get housekeeping very often and when we did they never replaced the toilet paper or made the beds unless requested. They did however always make sure we had our trash emptied and fresh towels so that was nice. You can hear every noise in the rooms next to you and above you. Especially since we were next to the laundry room people were in and out slamming the door. Overall the experience was nice the employees were nice. And it was in a nice area.

The staff here were very nice, but the hotel itself is disgusting!!! The sheets were never changed and dirty. They had hair all over them (as well as many towels they gave us). The bathroom was disgusting and full of mold. The couch had stains all over it (I wouldn’t even sit on it). I was afraid to put my bag on the ground and wouldn’t let my kids walk around without at least their socks on. The area is beautiful, but there were definitely some scary characters hanging around the parking lot. I’m so happy to have left this place.

Nice 2 bedroom large room with a kitchen and closet had a baking oven even. Quiet area, pretty scenery. Decent untrained staff. But, the rooms and free amenities make it worth the stay.

We stayed here as we were having a girls' weekend in Atlanta. Most got single suite, and we had a great time. There is breakfast service and a pool which was close due to fall. I loved the two bedrooms, which had separate doors. Everyone had their own privacy. Close to shopping and the Avalon, which was so convenient.

Service is friendly and effective. Breakfast is included and delicious, freshly prepared. Rooms are very comfortable and there is a very nice 24/7 gym. They also have free coffee and hot chocolate

There are nasty potholes in the parking lot. I stepped in one, fell and hurt my ankle! You would think they wouldn’t let things get so bad. And the rooms weren’t much to sniff at with the hard beds and blood stains on the sheets. However, the service from staff was great, and I think they deserve much better than this run down dump. As a last resort: doable. But far from preferable.

Great place to stay and I felt the price was fair. Very quiet with some easy dining options nearby. Room was stocked with cookware. Excellent staff, impressed me greatly with how avaliable they were and helpful to even small details. Miss Odette, Daniella, and Marcela are excellent examples of the staff and great at their jobs. They always had a smile and good moods.

I’m mainly writing this in hopes it gets to management. The hotel is fine! Easy to park, room was clean, etc. But I would really love to give recognition to the staff. They were ALL extremely nice, and I’d like to specifically call out Odell. I had to come back here for two weeks with a week in between, she remembered me by name and greeted me every day. The second week she gave me my room and even remembered it was the same room I had a couple weeks before. HOW?? She was so sweet and welcoming. Odell is someone you don’t want to lose as an employee and made my stay go from average to exceptional.

The front desk was friendly and pleasant. The room was clean. Yes, I would stay here again. There are some cosmetics that need updating but everything was great.

The wide range of experience at the TownPlace brand is quite stark. Some are glisteningly new, friendly and inviting. This one is not. All the rooms smell like cigarette smoke, the front desk is hard to find and not that helpful when you do. This is one of those Marriott’s that if it was your first, you would not be that impressed and might be forced to put into te category of a Days Inn. And that’s not good.

The worst place I have ever stayed. How can you even call yourself a Marriott. I walked in to stained and scratched walls and paper and stains all over the carpets (in the hallways) leading to the elevator and my room. As soon as I stepped into the room, there was this hideous odor. I tried opening the windows, but I could not. There were stains on the carpet. The tub was old and nasty. I checked for bedbugs-did not see thank goodness. The mattress was horrible. On top of the nastiness, we heard banging until about 4:20 am from the room above us. I called and spoke to the gentleman at the desk and he said he would do something but, unfortunately, if he did, it did not help. I spoke to the woman at the desk this am about the room and the noise and all she could do was say “sorry”. I hardly ever complain but this was literally the worst place. I could not have left quick enough and booked another Marriott. Praying that this one is better. Next time, I will read all reviews!!

Gwen and Odette were amazing! I must express that they treat you like royalty here. The rooms were very nice. There was a full kitchen. The only thing I prefer is if the TV could be turned towards the bed. The eggs were cold on top, but everything else was excellent. Plus, everywhere I go, the eggs could use some more heat. I will definitely book another stay here because of how well I was treated, and the amenities were great. Oh and hot and fast running shower! Food available at front desk. Big fridge. Comfy bed.

Great customers service. During check-in I was greeted by Marcela, she answered all my questions concerning my stay. The room was spacious and quiet.

Nothing but a positive experience during my stay here. I loved the set up of my suite. 2 bedrooms/1 bath and a full kitchen. Perfect for those that enjoy cooking and not eating out so much. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and so much more. Never had to call the front desk for anything, it was already in the suite. The price is a nice sized price tag but it’s sooooo worth it. Buildings are perfectly secured so make sure to bring your key card cause all doors are locked once you go out of your building. I look forward to staying again in the near future

The worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed at. Was supposed to stay for multiple days to recover from surgery and the place was so gross and the service was so bad that we left after a few hours. Multiple bugs in my room, the kitchen was gross and there was hair clogging the shower drain and on the shower walls. Explained the poor experience/service to the manager and still had to pay for the full time, even though we didn’t end up staying the night.

Very good place to stay for the price. The staff were super nice and helpful. Woth it still being hot in sept. the AC work excellent. The room was nice and cool when we got there. The room was clean and the shower didn't take long for the water to heat up.

Location of hotel is great, off GA 400 at exit 9. North Point Mall is on the opposite side of the bridge. There are a lot of restaurants surrounded. Hot breakfast is served at the hotel. There is a full kitchen in room as well. Everything is great until the last day of stay. Check out time has been confirmed through email and in-person at the front desk the night before our departure. Check out time is 12 noon. Housekeeper knocked on the door between 11.00-11.10. I informed her that we would check out at 12 noon. At 11.40 am., she knocked again. I opened the door. She just looked surprised and left her stuff in front of our door. We were about to leave anyway. When I checked out, I asked the front desk again about check out time. She confirmed it is 12 noon. I let her know about the incident and she apologized for. There should be a communication between the front and housekeeping department regarding check out time. Please don't be rude!! Told her once. She should listen!!

Overall nice place to stay , I love the full kitchen features especially the oven! However, we had a terrible experience due to the assistant general manager Gwen Fleming. Beginning with the snarkiness , nasty attitude and repulsive looks she gave at check in to her calling the police to our room because of a mistake one of the front desk associates made. Gwen alone would be our reason for not returning to this establishment despite the many great features and prime location.

The staff I interacted with was friendly and very professional but also personable. It truly felt like a home away from home. We especially appreciate the hospitality from Daniella, Nik, and Maricela. Traveling with an infant can be a bit overwhelming but these 3 in particular made it so easy from check in, check out, any everything in between!

We had an HVAC issue with water leaking in the carpet. The location was tucked away but close to food and shopping. The overall stay was okay but could use some updates considering the cost of the stay.

Staying here at Towne Place Suites is home away from home. I started living here March 2020 until October 2020 and the service was excellent during COVID-19. This is my second extended stay here. I have stayed at other hotels and motels, the services doesn't equal up the outstanding service you here received here. You are always met and treated with the upmost respect from all the staff Kari, Donna, Gwen, Nik, Chad, Ashley, Marcela, kelvin, Jordan, Peggy, Wanda, Niayyisha, Ernastina, Andrea, Mayde, Alfonso and Zureima. They go the extra mile to make sure you are happy and please with their stay and service here. I enjoy staying here because of the kindness, services, and respect that is showed toward me. If something is wrong, management and the staff make sure you are happy and please with the outcome.

The manager and morning staff were exquisite. Very polite, extremely friendly and helpful. Our suite was spotless and perfect for what we were looking for. We felt at home and would visit again anytime we’re in the area.

My kids and I stayed at this hotel for over two months until our house was being built. We had a wonderful experience, the room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was the perfect location, very quiet and close to everything, The Avalon, Whole Foods, and plenty of restaurants. The best part was the amazing staff, they made us feel comfortable and they were always willing to help and take care of everything. From the day we checked in until moving out everything was perfect. Thank you so much!

Checked into the room, the air conditioning was broken and it smelled of rotten fruit. The table had foot prints of bare feet (obviously not even cleaned). When I went back to the front desk the person working said “oh, I thought they fixed that…well we are sold out, I can call someone”. I let him know that room needed to be thoroughly cleaned and the air needed to be fixed before anyone could be placed in that room and the we would prefer another room at this point, again they were sold out. I called Marriott, waited on hold for 20 minutes and their resolution was 5k points (not even equivalent to a night) Or I could receive an email from someone so my case wasn’t “closed”. Customer service at its finest. We are now at a Hilton.

Hotel Room is good and they have good kitchen within each room. But the morning complementary breakfast is not up to the Marriott standards. 1 out of 5 for breakfast.

Extremely poor building construction and lay out. Building would possibly collapse during rodent mating. No adequate parking. The entire place was obviously constructed in the cheapest, third-world manner. The place is not even fitting to house work release convicts.
