Muy lindo! October 28. They have a tribute to the Andaluz region. Sooooo wonderful! Also, I believe this museum is a must before jumping into any other sightseeing of the region. It explains the roots of the Andaluz customs and traditions. Plus, la Andalucia is the most friendly region in Spain and this exposition highlights it very well! Bravo!

Gorgeous building, some interesting cultural items and themes to see. Its not the best museum in europe, but free for EU citizens and €1.50 for non EU citizens, its definitely worth a visit. Lower level has another area to see also.

Free for EU citizens. Pleasant museum to walk around if you are interested in the customs of the people living in Andalucia. I enjoyed to rooms with the different workshop set-ups. The garden is also very nice and there are a few benches to sit on.

the only good thing is the price 1 euro per person , the first hall its corridors is small and the things inside is typical and it have a bad smell, but the second hall is more advanced and nicer , and the third and fourth hall are better than both , the first and second hall overall it takes 20 to 30 min to visit all of the museum for only 1.15 euro

Probably a lesser known part of the park because it's not Plaza de España, but worth seeing. A great example of the impactful neo mudéjar style

Lovely building with multiple floors. Subterranean floors are cool and host all the traditional craft scenes. Traditional courtyard garden and lovely wooden replica of Seville Cathedral on the above ground floor stairwell. If you can blag (fake/pretend) you're a local, you'll enter for free, otherwise 'Guiri' have to pay a small fee! 😉

This museum, especially the basement exhibition, is great if you're interested in a historical look at the local daily life. It's a bit dark down there, but everything important is lit well enough and labled in english as well. The film about porcelain manufacuturing was only in spanish, but you'll still get the gist of it if you don't understand everything what they're saying.

Loved this place. An interesting little find right at the end of the Maria Luisa park away from the Plaza de Espana. Didn't realise it was there and it didn't appear to be touted very much in the tourist information kiosks. Caught it on Google Maps as I was walking through park. Took a punt as I like culture, people and art. Pleased I did as it takes you on an interesting and thought provoking tour of the cultural identity of the region and Spain too. Well set out (lots of displays!!) downstairs especially. When you come back up there is an inner atrium with other displays in too. Walked into the cultural displays area and was fascinated by the words, images and displays which resonated quite a lot with me too. Well worth a visit. Not so interactive as some museums so it might not appeal to much children. That's just an opinion though.

Not my usual type of museum and not one I’d rush to recommend. Perfect introduction to the daily life of Andalusian people in last three centuries and due to the bank holiday we got free entry, however I think if I’d have paid admission I’d have been disappointed.

This is a great place to learn about Andalusia heritage and culture. The exhibits are very informative and interesting - a job wonderfully done. Free admission. The neighboring María Luisa Park is also beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the visit here much more than most other crowded tourist attractions in Seville.

The place is really boring - in the era of internet you’re facing a hall with poster PICTURES of diverse people and their daily activities. I don’t think it is worth going investing your time. PROS - The only nice place thing about the place is the place itself. The building. It is much more worth in art value than the meager exposition there.

(Translated by Google) Leaving aside the building that is a modern Mudejar work of art, the exhibitions are a throwback to the past. To a not so distant past, to the time of our Andalusian grandparents (if you can, go with them) and some other older times. It is an opportunity to learn about the life they had and the festivals of our land. (Original) Dejando a un lado el edificio que es una obra de arte mudéjar moderna, las exposiciones son una vuelta al pasado. (Translated by Google) It is a museum that is a jewel in terms of a summary of the popular expression of customs throughout Andalusia. The building is very well preserved, a marvel of Mudejar art from the Andalusian region. Once inside, on the ground floor, the only one that can be visited at this time, you can see different forms of crafts, festivals, habits and ways of dressing, hunting, fishing, and also trades related to life and traditions. . The idiosyncrasy of the Andalusian people is wonderfully reflected in their cultural identity, and an Anthropological Atlas of artistic and cultural expressions of Andalusian autonomy has been produced by the Ministry of Culture. Essential visit to learn about the roots and customs of our community.
