Entry to this museum must not be waived. Entrance fee of 10 euros. The place presents the Jews of Spain before the expulsion from Spain. the clothing, jewelry, dishes, etc. There is a great similarity to all the culture you will see in Morocco, so the Moroccan Jews kept the culture they brought from Spain to Morocco? There is also a synagogue that was used by the local residents. You can see the posters of the Inquisition which call to harm and expel the Jews from Spain. The place evokes strong feelings about the harm to the Jews that is always so light to this day. There I also realized that it had already been said "never again" it's a shame that the Jews didn't remember this in Germany.

A nice small museum that can be covered within 30 minutes of your time. It is a stone's throw from the historic Synagogue and the Maimonides statue. Good history information to be had at the museum. See my pictures for some interesting information on some of the women (Muslim & Jewish) of Cordoba at it's zenith. It's only €5

This museum is a must to visit. Only after this can you understand what Sefarad was/is about. The guide is fantastic, the way he sings will surprise you and charm you. Don't expect the Louvre, this one is a different kind of magic.

The exhibition presents the old Jewish life of the city. The entrance fee is € 4. You can spend 30-45 min. in the casa because there are many rooms and interesting items. You get two larger laminated textual brochures to help your visit in the casa but you you have to give them back at the end. There is a lavatory at the end of the yard.

Dropped in whilst the synagogue had a ridiculous queue. So glad I did! Learnt a lot about the Spanish Jewry and staff couldn't of been more friendly and helpful. One of them gave a singing performance in the courtyard which was excellent. They were happy to answer my questions also.

Let me preface by mentioning as a Israeli Jew of Moroccan descent who was taught about the Rambam briefly in school, nothing in that museum was really new to me and I was kind of bored. But I think anyone who's not in my demographic may actually really enjoy this museum and I'd encourage you to go! Upon admission you get two laminated explanation pages in English since most explanations on the walls are in Spanish, which was kind of strange. If you're Israeli Jew or familiar in any way with Judaism or Jewish history, it's not going to enlighten you much - there's an entire wall dedicated to a brief explanation on each Jewish holiday, which just isn't interesting if you have prior knowledge.

Very nice place, a good surprise ! The house itself is beautiful and more than deserve a glimpse. The museum is about 10-12 rooms, with very good explanations provided both on panels (all at least in 2 langages, except for the inquisition part which is Spanish only) and in the document provided at the entrance. The topics covered are well chosen and give each time the appetite to know more, proof they are well pitched. Also, you can go with a baby trolley, there is an hidden elevator at the back.

A small, but very important museum, explaining the history of the Sephardic Jews of Cordoba. In 1492 many were expelled by the Catholic Church, and worse, many, despite converting to Christianity were persecuted, imprisoned, or worse fell victim to auto de fey This sad story is told at this museum, many of the restrictions placed upon these unfortunate people are reminiscent of those imposed on those who were Jewish in the 30s and 40s

No change in this museum since, at least 8 years! Excellent content ( history, maps, history of individuals, music, clothes, food n cooking, you name it ...) but totally OUTDATED presentation: only big multilingual posters to read. No thematic videos, no QR code to listen / read in your own language , no music despite the posters. Just cross the street to the alchemists, and you will see already a content more digestible ;-)

Small private museum focusing on Jewish persecution. 4.50 EUR for entry. Around 30-45 mins to see and read everything. Not bad, not that great either. No aircon so was very hot throughout

Excellent curation and inspiring singing performance. Ramon on staff helped me with many of my questions and offered an immense amount of knowledge, especially around the Inquisition. I learned so much today! This was my favorite stop in all of Cordoba.

A wonderful place to learn about Jewish heritage with very kind and helpful staff. I would recommend separating about 2 hours to enjoy the museum. They also offer a live performance of Jewish songs, so make sure you don’t miss out! I recommend asking if/when they will offer the live performance just to make sure you don’t miss it.

It’s a great museum about the history of Sephardi Jews for Jews and non Jews. We happened to arrive in time for a musical presentation which was wonderful.

A nice small museum showcasing the history of the Jews, expelled from Spain in 1492. There's a fair bit about Maimonodes, one of the most important intellectuals of the 12th/13th century- he died in 1204- who was a Jewish man from Cordoba. It's worth the small price of admission, though many of the artifacts lack full explanation.

Wonderful collection of artifacts that create a vivid picture of Jewish life in Spain historically and especially during to horrific Inquisition. You’ll have a much greater understanding of the story after visiting this museum. Lovely small gift shop also. Must see.

This morning we attended this superb museum. It is not large but packed with beautiful displays of the history of Sephardic Jews In Spain and their trials under the Inquisition. The guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their museum and it’s contents. One sang Jewish songs exquisitely in the inner courtyard. The house in which the museum is located is worth the visit!

Great experience at Casa Sefarad. All the people there is amazing but S3bastian was the one who made us feel the real Scents of Sefarad in Cordoba. Manu thanks Sebastian and casa Sefarad! ( Asoc. MAGUEN SEFARAD Almeria)
