It was an amazing week. It was October so I was expecting the quality of service to be slightly below what it would be during the summer, but no. Great resort, amazing staff, fast service and really good food, all you would expect of a 4 star resort. We were even surprised that there was no dip in quality when they had to deal with a massive influx of guests in the middle of the week due to a national holiday. And congratulations to all of the team at the wok station, and thank you for the way you treated our kid. He was eating noodles everyday just because you made him feel so welcomed! One difficulty we had was to understand what was included in the all inclusive, for example, we only learned of the ice creams at the pool bar on the last day because we saw people asking for them. Otherwise we thought it was only the ice-creams in the refrigerator near the rest of the snacks. Also, how does the snack machine at the lobby works? It says you have 15€ credit, but then it doesn't do anything 🤔 😳 is there anything there for the all inclusive or is just for people paying? Where are the snacks after dinner? It was confusing, to say the least, and going to the lobby wasn't always the best option since there were a lot of people checking in and out most of the time. Even so, the only caveat to the whole experience was the children's club. Although it's to be expected that most children are Spanish, the staff mostly spoke in Spanish (sometimes a few words in English) not making the effort for a Portuguese child. It should be noted that you had quite a few Portuguese families there at the time, even if it was at the beginning of the school year. For example, one morning when I went to get my son he was annoyed that they were playing a game and since he didn't understand the rules he lost. We were at the kids club a few times and it was mostly painting or waiting around for an activity that was a let down. Of course we are in a different country, and the idea is for us to learn something about other languages, but it says a lot about the kids club that the staff member my kid prefered was one of the chefs at the wok station. The one big exception to the animation team is Borja, who took the time to make an outsider feel included, even if not speaking the same language. Unfortunately it was only on our last day.

We are spending 4 nights here. The rooms are fine and the location is nice. All employees are really friendly and helpful. We booked all inclusive. Unfortunately, there are a few things that we are not happy about. The food is rather typical cantine style, which is really a pity given the exquisite cuisine of this region. Although many products are included, some basic stuff like Nuii ice cream at the pool needs to be paid extra (Nuii is not an expensive product). There is an entertainment program at the pool that unfortunately "entertains" all tourists that would just like to chill out without listening to rather annoying music. The cocktails are bad, some pre-mixed stuff diluted with way too much crushed ice. However, longdrinks are included so there are better options available. If you would really like to enjoy the region and good food, I highly recommend to not book all inclusive but to enjoy nearby areas with good restaurants. If you are a young family with kids this place seems very convenient and perhaps deserves and additional star for you. Thanks for the service!

If you are happy with a hotel with a pool that is close to the beach and you don’t care about anything else, then this hotel might be for you. Otherwise, run…. This is a 3 star hotel priced at 5 star prices. Definitely not a 4 star experience. Mass crowds, basic furnishings, long queues, mass produced food, and the ambience of a busy airport. Very little to no attention to detail to anything. The kids’ club do not take any responsibility for your child’s well-being or whereabouts because there are simply too many kids to keep an eye on. Not my idea of a holiday.

Hotel rooms were clean and basic. This place is geared towards families with kids so if that’s not your intent I’d recommend finding someplace else. Breakfast buffet was good but all meal periods were pricy, dinner buffet is drab and very much mass produced buffet food with a lot of crowds.

It is an excellent hotel for the family and to spend your vacation in a dream area! I highly recommend this hotel where everything is well set up. The food is very good, having different themes every night and the hotel rooms are very clean and nicely structured!

I had terrible food poisoning at Hotel Best Costa Ballena. There was a lot of different food at the buffet, but it was not tasty and apparently not very fresh. I do not recommend booking this hotel with a buffet included. The hotel itself deserves 4 stars but the food - is 1 star. I had that poisoning on the last day of my stay. I felt too bad to leave room, so my boyfriend went to reception to ask if they have something against food poisoning, but they didn't offer anything at all.

Gorgeous property right next to the beach. There are 6 different buildings you can stay at and from the looks of it, most have balconies. Very friendly English and Spanish speaking staff. There are some amenities that you have to pay for (Spa, infinity pool, towels for swimming, and underground parking) as well as a cafeteria and little arcade on the premises. Will come back next time I am near!

Carmen at the pool bar upstairs is the best bartender in the hotel. Great mojito. Sincerely, Leon and Felisha

Great resort with 2 swimming pools and kids club great for children. Also 3 ping ping tables and all inclusive options. One of the best prices in the area although I wouldn't say is cheap

Is a typical place done for Families with children's! The rooms are quite good and a good service. The Buffet is good and with variety, however the hygiene from the dishes and glasses is disgusting, I always need to ask for clean ones, the ones that they were displayed were complete not washed and full of grass for me it was a BIG MINUS!

A good hotel for families with kids younger than 8 years. Service is very friendly and the Hotel itself is in a quite good condition. But what made us want to cry after the second day was the food. The food is so bad, that it's not even okay. The quality of the dishes is very, very poor. It's only industrial food and nearly nothing is homemade. Not even the scrumbled eggs were fresh. I cannot recommend to stay for more than 2 nights.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I was very happy with the room (it included a massive, 2x2 meters bed that was super comfortable) and how clean everything was. Also, the food was great with many vegan options available.

First class hotel. Friendly staff, good food selection. Good all round. Could improve on evening entertainment. I would recommend this hotel

Beautiful big hotel. Large swimming pool. Enough space to relax. Cadiz in a distance of an half our driving. The staff is very decent and are willing to help you. Tip: book a rental car and discover several city's.

Got charged three times for the same ridiculous charge aka water. Paid cash, then my credit card, then somehow I got charged again with the card I paid for my stays, but told them not to. I spoke Spanish (fluent) to them and somehow they mess it up. Wifi was annoying as you had to login multiple times; type your info, room number, email, etc. Ridiculous! My key didn't work to enter the gym main door, so I had to wait until the SPA was open. Everything else was great! My review will go up if assistance is provided. Else I don't care.

The hotel has a lot of potential, because of the excellent location and (service) options they provide, but currently it is not worth the 4 stars, more like 2 or 3. The service is variable, from poor to good, depending on the person on duty. At the restaurant they are very rude, and the room attendant from block 3 is very aggressive. It is better to book a room only and get breakfast/lunch/diner from the restaurants in the area and buy groceries at the supermarket which is situated at 1,5km walking distance .

This hotel needs more English speaking staff. And as a family hotel full of children smoking areas should be restricted.

A spacious and beautiful hotel with easy access to beach. It's family oriented with loads of activities and nearby facilities for both children and adults including rental of bicycles. Its Spa facilities are fantastic and affordable and best of all has family times and adults only. If you prefer a peaceful adults only areas there is plenty at this hotel. Very good value for money with loads of nearby restaurants.

Very nice hotel with direct access to the beautiful "Tres Piedras" beach and three pools (+ two additional ones reserved for premium rooms). The main pool is big with salty water but not very deep (~ 1.2 m) which makes it safe for kids, although there is also another one with a "pirate" theme reserved for the youngest ones. Rooms are fully renovated and spacious with a big balcony. Safe available and included in the price. The animation staff really worked hard to keep the guests entertained all the time. The only thing which I think was missing is a slightly more international touch in their program (e.g.: for aqua gym music selection) which would have been more involving for non Spanish guests. The lunch / dinner buffet was unfortunately not on par with our expectations for this class of hotel (and this was not the first one where we spent our vacation): the staff really tried to do their best in being helpful, but they generally seemed stressed and overwhelmed (I have been told there had been some unplanned absence due to covid, so hopefully that is a transient situation). Aside from that, glasses were often not very clean and had to be replaced. Finally, the quality of the food was a bit "hit and miss": while fish was generally good, meat was often undercooked (even in the case of pork) or chewy. Another example is the quality of the orange juice served for breakfast, which was industrial grade and very sugary. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but a better lunch / dinner buffet would have made it truly memorable.

We had a wonderful time and it is a great resort for a family. Minor issue with ants in our room, but that was a very, very small issue. Everything was great and we plan to visit again. The location was perfect and the beach was beautiful. The pools and service was great all around.

Magnificent location beach 5 mins away. 4 superb pools and hotel rooms which are only 16 months old Everything in perfect condition with helpful reception staff and a lovely buffet restaurant. These photographs are taken in late October and Halloween was going to be fun as the staff were very busy making preparations for this event.

Great spot to stay near the beach. This is definitely a family friendly resort hotel--for a decent price. There's a very large pool to enjoy some fun in the sun. This was also one of the few Spanish hotels that I've been to that has a refrigerator in the room.

Hotel looks very good, it is clean, has great pools. However the service is very strange. Novadays to enter buffet area you have to wait often long queue at the entrance to give for signature special paper, same you can't order drinks in the bar without that paper. The breakfast buffer is not great but ok, although not well organized, always crowded. Also we had ants in the room. Would be perfect place if they will improve their service and management.

Highly recommend this hotel . From the cleanliness of the rooms to the facilities on site. Great fresh fruit and wide range of breakfast choices from the buffet. Having both a pool and been adjacent to the sea gives both choices of swimming. Endless walks on the golden beach with warm sand tops everything off. Staff were also very helpful and informative about the local area. Easy commute if your travelling to Jerez GP Track.

Huge hotel and grounds. Amazing kids pool. Very close to beach. Rooms were in good condition, well kept. My only comments are around breakfast and better mattrice.

Very nice hotel, perfect for a vacation with the family and friends. Has 4 pools to choose from, nice bars and restaurants with good food options. Close to the beach, easy access from the hotel - just 2 min walking. The facilities are in good condition, as well as the rooms. Plus for cleanliness and for taking care of all restrictions during the COVID 19 pandemic - all staff is wearing masks and properly disinfecting the areas many times during the day. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and nice balconies. The only aspect to improve is the level of English of some team members.
