Very beautiful and well maintained golf course. Only minor point was the time between flights. The starter took only 3’ for every new flight. Slow play unavoidable due to 1,2 and 3 party flights teeing off every 3’. Despite the beautiful building the bar is not cozy and doesn’t keep you there.

This is a lovely course if you enjoy elevation changes as I do. Course was in good shape on March 1, 2022. There are definate green complexes where carts are kept out so grass is good there. I am usually a walker but took cart on this one due to green to tee distances and green complexes protection. Varied tees, a tee to fit most golfers. There were many blind shots and playing for the first time I was glad I had a cart to go ahead and look for the correct line. I booked in with a 2 ball so I had someone to play with but when I arrived I found I was playing by myself. There was a single in front of me, a single in front of him and a 2 ball ahead of that. It was unusual to say the least. They also have a great 3 month membership if you plan on extended stay. 750 euros for 3 months of unlimited golf on a championship course! Nice Condos surround the course. Nice Course, curious about the singles and 2 balls. Weather was windy, noticed a lot of wind mills around. All in all I enjoyed the game.

Just returned from our annual tour to Spain , 8 of us , a new resort for us. Fantastically friendly and welcoming staff in all areas , thank you for that. Spectacular views on links course , great layout on the heathland course , super breakfast at the clubhouse and great patio overlooking the sea for after golf refreshments. Definitely will return for next year's tour. Highly reccomended

This is my best ever golf resort I've been to...

We played on the Heathland . Paid full price. No one told us there was work going on on the 1st, 17th and 18th . Diggers and JCB's everywhere workers on the 7th planting making lots of noises. Totally unacceptable and very disappointed. Greens in good condition overall.

The Links golf course has been closed since March 2021 and is not expected to reopen for a while. The Heathland is the only course available and it is in shocking condition. The run offs have been cut so short that good shots are severely punished. Many shots play to one side of fairways end up running off into extreme rough on the other side of the fairway. With winter rains, the drainage is terrible and is extremely muddy. The only positive are the greens, in terms of condition, but are inconsistent in the roll. There are better golfing options in San Roque.

Amazing course, played the links and was blown away with the overall condition of the course and the views are simply breathtaking. From the moment we arrived Andrew made us feel so welcome, he arranged for the bags to be taken to buggy and showed us around this impressive facility. Staff in the club shop were friendly, I left a club on one of the greens and they retrieved it for me. Delicious food in the bar after the round. We played 6 courses during our stay which included La Reserva and Finca Cortisin and this was our favourite. Will definitely be back.

Review updated 1/11/22 - played the heathland today, throughly enjoyed the course and the course on its own would be worth 5 stars, but feel I have to down rate my review of 3 years down to a 4 for a few reasons. Firstly staff were a disappointing except the concierge that was brilliant but that’s were it ended, although the rest of the staff were efficient they weren’t very welcoming ie no smile or conversation. Secondly when collected buggy they had put wrong scorecard in it which we never noticed until we were halfway down the first thinking it’s no way this is a par 5 and had to rely on our own gps etc for right holes pars etc. to be Marketing as a high end venue these small things need fixed particularly more friendly staff. ————————————————————————- Original review Nov 19-Played the links course in November and probably the best greens I’ve ever putted on and have played many great courses, stunning views and great course, restaurant although nice was maybe abit to modern, will definitely be back to play agin and try the heathland course

Very nice course with wide fairways and very good green areas. Over all the course is very well maintained and in excellent conditions. Greens are not as fast as the neighboring courses like Sotogrande, la Reserva and Valderama but still very good. The club house is beautiful and excellent service both in the restaurant and pro shop. The layout of the course very close to the Mediterranean is very nice, don’t think you find anything like it on the Golf coast. Highly recommended!

One of the best at Costa del Sol. For sure Sotogrande, Valderrama and Co. Have better Greens and Fairways but the views here are priceless!

Just had a great round on the heathland course. Very good condition & greens were fast & true. You need a buggy & course is easy to navigate - course staff are friendly & helpful - looking forward to playing the links when it reopens ?
