A really nice local ale pub. Friendly and great space to chill inside and out

Lovely place to sit outside whatever the weather. Always made to feel welcome. When sitting outside the heaters are on to take the chill away. We love getting a bottle of red wine, 2 glasses and a couple of bags of crisp. Can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. When the pizza van is here I'd definitely recommend trying a pizza....they are delicious 😋

This is an Excellent micro pub, great beers and staff are very welcoming.

Very nicely done bar. Friendly staff and good beer. BUT watch out for closing time. Most pubs put the time they close the bar on Google as closing time. This place puts the time they lock the doors! Closing time was advertised on Google as 9:00pm. So we had 1 pint then went for a refill at 8:35pm but were told the bar closed at 8:30pm😭. To be fair a notice on the door did say the bar closed at 8:30 but why would you notice that if you’ve read 9:00pm on Google?

Very friendly micro bar. You can taste before you decide which drink to buy. Great atmosphere and facilities. Love that it is dog friendly.

Came for first time today with my dog ralf had a couple pints of Aspalls ciders so relaxing friendly staff definitely be calling in again.

Great little place excellent choice of beers and spirits 3 cask lines and many keg beers, also got a great selection of cans to take away. Really good atmosphere very friendly place will definitely call again.

Great little micropub with 4 hand-pulls on. Prices about average. Heated outside heated area under a couple of gazebos. Looses 1 star due to stinky drains outside (avoid sitting near the drain cover).

Superb Bitter ESB 5.6% and Stout 6.5%. All beers and lagers absolutely spot on. If you like proper ale this place is a must visit. Walking distance from Woodhouse train station and on 52 bus route 👌
