Enjoyed a 2 mile walk around this reservoir. Very picturesque and good for those of us that like to take the camera with us...would definitely recommend

A very popular place for an easy stroll or part of a longer walk or hike. Quite a lot of work has been undertaken over the last few years, improving the paths and bridging the many streams that run down the woodland into the reservoir. It's a pity that some people don't respect the area as a few drop their litter coffee cups, etc. Many thanks to the land owners for making the place safe and fit for people of all abilities.

Quiet and Nice place for strolling around the water. Good scenery. Parking is a bit of problem as there is no marked area but then you not paying for a it you can park it on the side of the road

Beautiful place for a walk

Great place to walk whether you like a nice easy going trail or gentle walk by the road. There is always plenty of wildlife about. Nice and quiet so you can go and relax.

Add this in with Broomhead and you’ve got a superb walk of around 5 miles. Parking is available on the north side of the reservoir on the access road. Lovely place.

Lovely, undemanding walk around this body of water - we saw a crane (as in avian not industrial), a repeat occurrence from a previous year, somewhere. Difficult to determine if it was the same one. Bonus valley value to this peregrination is that there is a second reservoir, Broomhead, located immediately above More Hall allowing a double loop if preferred. Copious parking but do not expect any facilities as there are none; an opportunity to indulge in my favourite sandwich - spiced pork and ham (alright SPAM you philistines) garnished with Dijon mustard. Do not judge me...

It's one of my favourite walks, and on my doorstep 🙌
