Very nice playground. I used the kayak launch. It was very nice and easy to use. It even showed directions for handicap people in wheelchairs to use it and get into a kayak. Very convenient. Getting some Briqs ice cream after makes for an amazing fun day.

Very clean. Very fun. Definitely advice taking your family/kids here when you have a chance. It is so cool. The view of the river is amazing.

We found something to do on the playground for babies through adults. Everyone loved the Briqs right there at the park and on the water. Trails to walk along the water. Highly recommend for families!

This is a great park for everyone. There is so much to do! If your looking for a spot to just relax then take a seat at one of the many benches along with pathway or under one of the shade sail spots. They also have bikes you can rent to take a ride along the beautiful riverside. The kids will enjoy walking on the "sky walk," sliding down the giant slide on one end or climbing on the big web on the other end. Try not to get dizzy while spinning on one of the several merry-go-rounds. Some have seats and a few others are made for just one at a time. They have an area for older kids and adults to work out. Each piece of equipment has info on how to use it and what area of your body is getting a workout. There is an app you can download to give you pointers for your workout at specific location as well help you find other similar locations. There is a fun obstacle course as well where you can use the app and compete against other kids or just get through it as fast as you can. Don't forget to push the button before you begin and again when you finish to keep track of your time. If your looking for even more to do as a family it is right next to WOW fun zone that has fun inside family entertainment. Last but not least don't forget to get an ice-cream treat at Briqs before you leave. You may just have to try their famous "One Pound Cone."

I really enjoyed the park along with my kid. I think it is a very unique park with nice walk areas, a giant play area, gym structures to keep even adults busy, active and involved. Plenty of parking and clean. Has food options too. Great view. Highly recommended

A great place to take your children to go and play outdoors. Also a great place for a small walk along the river but as you go down further towards downtown I started to notice there are a lot of homeless people who will yell or make rude remarks.

Great only for kids 6 and above. There is very little to do, and the "little kid area" is a joke. Whoever designed the equipment has never had children

Modern and quality playground. It is designed for mostly older children (3yo and older) but a couple things for younger kids. No swings. Our 3yo really enjoyed this playground.

My child's favorite park. The paved sidewalk is great for walking, roller blading, or biking. My husband and I play on the equipment too when it's not too packed.

Great place for kids to burn off some extra energy. Adding an ice cream place makes it even more of a treat. And the river view is pretty sweet too.

This is one of the nicer parks I have taken my daughter. Not too much to do though for younger kids. Luckily my 2 year is fearless. I would say the biggest issue we had was a bathroom not being there. A hour drive then not having a bathroom is a lot for a two year old. Still had a bunch of fun though.

We brought our kids here and had a great time. Even though my kids are older, they still enjoyed the playground. We loved the location along the river and indulged in some tasty ice cream treats from Briq's Soft Serve.

Stopped here in the middle of a long drive from Michigan's Upper Peninsula to Wisconsin's Door County. It was the perfect place to run around and play on the playground structures, ninja course, and exercise equipment. We also pulled out some of our snacks to have at a table right on the river.

Great little park of the river! The exercise equipment is a nice touch a lot more than I expected there to me especially with the verity. The ice cream stand right there is great as well for a fun treat after burning off so just energy.

This park is great. Better suited for kids 5-6 and up but my 3 yr old does find some things to entertain himself.

This is an amazing effort for Wausau to bring forth this children’s park. It is a wonderful idea. We had a great time but I see the need for some kind of supervision from someone in the park division. There were unruly smart mouth pre teen boys running. swearing, and getting smart with me an adult. I informed them I would call the law. It will get worse if not dealt with. Sorry Wausau these teens don’t care about the small children that were there. There where no Parents there for these out of control teens to answer to.

What a cool park! We were visiting Wausau for the weekend and just happened to find this place while looking for an ice cream shop. Unfortunately the ice cream shop directly next to the park was currently closed but we really enjoyed the park equipment!

We loved it! There's something for everyone here including Briq's ice cream. My favorite part was that the adult fitness area overlooked the child's obstacle course. So I can keep an eye on my little while exercising peacefully.
