We entered here by chance and had the shish kebab. Omg!, omg! The marinated lamb skewers, hummus, baba ganoush, and fattoush were all so incredibly delicious! The tastes brought back memories of my travelling in the Middle East of more than 20 years ago! What a wonderful culinary experience and very friendly service too! We'll be back for sure!

We ate sandwiches here during summer RW22 festival. It was a couple months ago. But now, when I think about this time, I still see Dar Za as the best fast food restaurant in Belgium. We remembered sympathetic owner who was very welcome for all guests. We got free falafel to taste and it was so delicious that we decided to stay. I still can remind the taste of these wraps with just a perfect falafels with a good proportion of vegetables. Additionaly we remembered a tasty tea with a mint leaves. A place to sit for a while, calm down, power up our devices and to chat with the owner. Unfortunately we don't have this restaurant nearby place we live. We would eat there every week. At least!

Recommended! We were there for the opening buffet, it was amazing. the owner is super friendly and an inspiring person, the food was excellent and the interior design very cozy yet fancy. we will be back!

Great food, great hospitality and hands down the most friendly owner ever. We have been there as 6 persons and ordered hamburger, fries and shish kebabs and falafels were on the restaurant which was really kind gesture and they were simply the best falafels I have ever tasted. If you are going to visit Leuven around Town Hall definitely give it a try and treat yourself with the best kebabs.

Best falafel in town. Crusty shell with a delicious warm and soft center. The mezze options are on point, rivals the restaurants back in Jordan and Palestine! If you want an authentic and hearty experience look no further. Shadi is the most passionate owner and will definitely take good care of you :)

We were choosing between two places to eat, and we had a good feeling for this one when we see the owner kindly greeting someone that was leaving. 1st impression was key! We weren’t wrong about our instinct, the food was very delicious too!!! Mixed grill is recommended and the humus is top! We were warmly welcomed by the host, and left just pleased with all. The ambiance of the place was really cozy and nice. The staff was very friendly so I give them both 5 stars. But unfortunately, the food was not as good as I expected. The meat was burnt due to which it tasted bitter. Also, the meat was dry (probably due to the over cooking as it was burnt too). I only went there since I found the google review rating was quite high for this place. I feel bad for rating this place low but it is from my perspective. It might differ from others.

Lovely owner, he makes you feel welcome and special. I even had a chat with him, which I normally am too nervous to do because of my stutter and social anxiety. He was very patient and kind, and the food was really good.
