Good convenient car park but its accessibility can be confusing on sat Nav. In my experience, you just enter Black Lion Street, Brighton on the map and then look out for the P (blue) signs for the car park. If you follow sat Nav, it takes you to the Casino (pier nine) car park! And make sure you get in first half of the day especially if it is weekend or holiday. There are 355 spaces but the car park gets full and you can end up waiting for half an hour to find a spot

I don't know what's to like about this car park... it's extortionate pricing is my first bug bear... £27 for a morning (5hours). Prices aren't much cheaper for less time either. The car park itself is well lit and secure, however the ramps are pretty tight and it can get very warm in the various underground levels, which only exacerbates the smell of urine around the place. There also isn't enough pay machines at busy periods and none of the EV charging points work. Very disappointed indeed.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK. I WAS CHARGED £22.40 PARKING FOR 2 HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. It is a disgrace that Brighton council can implement these charges to people who are coming to visit Brighton to spend on local shops, restaurants and hotels. There are much cheaper alternatives so check online and do not be ripped off for parking. I recommend checking online before just arriving and paying thinking it will be a few quid! Urine smell is included in the price. NOT RECOMMENDED!

One less star because the cost was eye watering - £22 ($44) for 3 hours parking BUT this was super easy to find, especially for us overseas tourists, super close to the Brighton Pier (our pilgrimage destination) and very safe, requiring our parking ticket being scanned to gain re-entry.

Nice parking off street in Brighton. Parking spaces are slightly narrow for larger cars especially when going up or down the ramps to the various floors. Costs were considerable for a few hours stay at the weekend but then parking in Brighton is a premium.

The parking is very near to Beech but it's quite expensive. Check the price list before planning to go to Brighton beech, this may hit good to your pocket

Been parking here for a lot of years, it was always a little expensive and has very tight spaces. Previously I felt it worthwhile as it always had spaces (as it was a little pricey) but not shockingly expensive. I went again on Sunday (22/08) and the price had shot up to an eye watering £27.50 for 5 hours; must be to pay for all the expensive anti homeless doors, shutters and barriers. Shameful! And yes it still smelt like a toilet.

Very secure car park in a convenient location.... BUT the prices are absolutely astronomical!!!! It cost us £10.40 for 1hr 45mins!!!! Later on that day, It only cost us 60p more for 4 hours in Churchill Square car park!! I just really don't know how they get away with these ludicrous charges!

A solid car park. The prices are what they are, there’s no issue there, but for the price I’d prefer the human faeces and sticky urine be cleaned from the back of the car spaces. If you have a vehicle much larger than a RAV4/CR-V, your parking options may be much more limited as not all the spots are equal in size. Still would recommend, but know what you are getting into.

Prices are ridiculously high! Paid £27.50 for a day trip. It was so difficult to find a parking space and to say that the space between the bays and ramps are narrow is an understatement. I've never seen such tight space between bays and we had to reverse when turning just to go up the ramp. It hasn't been designed well. Only plus is the location - you can walk to the pier.

£21:50 to park for 2:15 hours It’s a shame in reality as being a tourist for the weekend and paying this for parking means I won’t come back. There are a million places to spend my money alas not a million people with money. Someone is sat in a nice office thinking they are wonderful in reality sit back and think what real people not colleagues think of you. You should be ashamed…..

Won’t be using the Lanes Car park again! Narrow entrances, cars parked on the side which made it harder to get down into the the lower levels to find available parking. Parking space was very small. Parked for 4 hours and was charged £20! Homeless person blocking the door back into the parking on our return. Had to ask him to move so we could get in. Won’t be using the parking again. Suggest anyone else who is thinking about parking here, Find’s somewhere else to park.

DO NOT PARK HERE!! The charges are scandalous. Brighton council are milking people looking for a nice day out with these extortionate charges for parking. And you can tell by the state of the pier and promenade that the money is definitely not being reinvested in making it attractive and clean.

Brighton is definitely a nice day out for a family along with amazing views. Definitely one of the cleanest places I’ve seen by far, loads of things to do there for kids and even adults so you can literally just spend your whole day up here. The beach looked very clean too. Lovely restaurants up here and everyone is so kind ! Thank you !

Safe car park but that’s about it. Quite dirty overall... Prices are absolutely bonkers. £22.80 for 2-4 hours. 😳

Not sure why everyone is so surprised at the prices. It's not cheap, but the prices are easily viewable on the website before you park and signposted when you arrive. Frankly at £31 for 9 hours it's still cheaper than a train fare for a family from many locations including the one we were travelling from! Parking was easy, secure and convenient, only trouble at the moment is exiting the carpark as part of the sea road is shut.

If you are looking to charge - don't go to this place. U'll need their app or card and it's located -3 floor underground so there's no cell signal. Genius idea! No wonder it was empty. Also the parking was expensive, like 12-14£ish for 2 hrs on weekends.

Where do I begin? Ridiculously overpriced for parking. £9 for 2 hours. Thank god I made it back before that was up, otherwise it would have been £20 for 3 hours! Spaces were very narrow. Ramps required extra maneuvering as they were just big enough to fit a car. 4 EV charging spaces, but only big enough to fit two cars. Pillars inconveniently blocking many areas making it difficult to move. And to top it all off, homeless people setting up a camp inside. Secure? I don't think so. Do yourself a favour, park elsewhere until this place takes a moment to reevaluate its business practices. It is preying on those who have not been before. Ruined the day, and was the nail in the coffin for Brighton, the overhyped, underwhelming excuse for a "paradise".

Car park is secure however prices are extortionate. I've never in my life paid so much in a car park. £31.50 for 5 hours. Disgraceful. Not even London charges this much to park. Avoid if you can.

4 hour 35 minutes parking @ £31.40 Previous 20 odd quid was already a wow. By 2pm car park was full (not just the usual wee smell) so seems like they are just charging whatever they want. Soon it will affect businesses as people will not park at this outrageous cost.

I was very surprised when I paid for the parking. It was 32£ for the 4 hour 20 minutes. They take a peace for that. 8£ for 1 hour. They spoiled all your enjoyment. It’s a big car parking so they should think about it. 🤔🤔

Busy very busy no toilet facilities only on pier .and they are very limited . Even when you get there the queues are huge .Would not recommend if you have young kids or medical conditions . No seating unless you are paying for something to eat or drink. London by the sea . But at least there are toilets and seating in London. Brighton Council really do need to sort this out

The most expensive car park I have been in the Uk. Also, very narrow. My alloys got scratched. I’d park in the Churchill one instead 2:20 23£

Decent location but the cost has gone ridiculously high. £38 for 5pm to 11am. 2 years ago it was about £25. Exploiting its position. Will not go back

A secure carpark in a great location, but be prepared to pay the premium for this. 1hr cost me £5!

I like this car park. Nice and secure. Good size spaces it can get busy tho as it’s in a prime location.

Excellent location and cheap to park after 6pm. Only paid £7 for a evening parking. Its well lit, secure and best of all doesn't smell, unlike most other car parks locally

Horrible car park for bigger cars, lots of torturous turns and huge pillars. EV charging never works. Very expensive!! Otherwise perfect for central Brighton and seafront

Charged £24.80 for 2 hours 40 mins. Ridiculous. How are Brighton council allowing / justifying these prices ? Hardly luxury parking either. The smell of urine is rancid. Avoid at all costs.
