As soon as I walked in, I saw the cashier dancing! Her energy was everything! Such a sweet heart! I came to get more beef patties and the lemonades all delicious especially the PPG!!! Someone let me try their beef patty and it was over from there! I told her I’d be back and I meant that!!! Great food! 10/10!!! The beef patty is almost gone as you can see in the picture!😂

First time there the lady was very very nice different vibe n the food was just right. I do not eat spicy food or any sort but the jerk tacos was great and wasn’t spicy but it did have a Tang too it. Best believe I will be bringing the family. Oh and the prices is reasonable to me.

A great Sunday afternoon lunch with enough leftovers for dinner. Reasonable price for the food options, friendly service and items packaged well for travel home. I hope the restaurant stays around and I hope to try some of their soups on another day when available. Happy to have authentic Jamaica cuisine accessible in Lake County without having to drive to Evanston. We also enjoyed a delicious banana pudding that I ended up having to share with a family member and a beef patty. I look forward to another lazy weekend, in which I don't want to cook food at home, to get some of the favorites I remember my Jamaican mother cooking for me.

The food is absolutely good. No other way to put it. Homemade, you can tell. My friend ordered the curry goat and was in tears when he tasted it! Will be returning. Please ignore the bad reviews.

This was my first time ordering through UberEats. I ordered the jerk taco dinner, jerk egg rolls and a kids meal. The Food was Ok. The fries on the kids meal was so oily and the egg rolls was also oily. The taco dinner wasn’t bad. I wish the tacos had a bit more spice to it. Over all I give the food a 6.4/10. I would honestly try it again. Maybe during the day.

A true hidden gem. Everything I've ever gotten there has been incredible. The brown stew and beef patties are incredible.

Ordered the jerk chicken tacos and jerk chicken bowl via Uber Eats and there was no description for the food so I had some idea of what to expect but not totally. I personally did not enjoy. The jerk sauce provided was very thick. Not a sauce that can be poured on the tacos. It was thick like mayonnaise, like a spread. The jerk chicken was okay. The bowl had sour cream, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and cheddar cheese - odd toppings for a Caribbean dish. For those looking for a fusion dish maybe this would be good to that demographic of people.

Great food macaroni was so well made it was some of the best food I’ve had in a while. It’s a really Lowkey spot in downtown Waukegan but honestly it is so amazing as soon as you walk in you get greeted and taken care of. I recommend this place to all my friends and family and to anyone looking for some great jerk chicken this is the place . Just came out the restaurant and will be a frequent customer from here on out now
