Ordered a bucket of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. What we got could be called called that I guess. Chicken - scrawny and overcooked, almost no breading - dreadful frankly and the mashed potatoes are reconstituted and rolls store-bought out of a bag. A gas station nearby has way better for way less. Golden Used to be good but hasn’t in years. Sad but like a many others they are obviously using cheap low quality food and riding on a name that used to be good.

Golden Chicken in Hales Corners - Best fried chicken in the area, hot, crispy, juicy. Always great service and at a reasonable price to feed our whole family.

I have not had Golden Chicken in many many year. This site is close to home so that is what prompted us to order. We ordered the combo Chicken & Fish, we had a choice of French fries or mashed potatoes, we chose French fries. Did not include any coleslaw, so we ordered a side. Everything was so flavorful, crisp, and fresh. . We will definitely be steady customers.
