This is a very nice place for a family gathering. To rent the shelters it’s inexpensive and they are very nice.

Very nice drive thru park

Beautiful forest with plenty of trails. Lots of native plants and wildlife to see. The park manager is also a really great guy, shelters can be rented for very cheap! Great place to visit and explore!

We went here for my mother's 80th birthday party and our family reunion they have a full working kitchen A/C old one room school house setting tables and chairs you can set up any way you want very clean plenty of parking can be rented for any occasion running water clean restrooms very nice settings handicap accessible

It was great the paths were all mulched and it was all mowed really beautiful in the cabin area!!! There were no sticks or brush down it was a wonderful experience today!

Love shabbona state park great trails to walk or run....and there's a great restaurant to eat at. Whenever we go we have the Pokanoka burger it's so good! It's busy during the summer but still a hole in the wall star park!
