We've already found our new favorite local dog park thanks to our family and new furrends! There are two large, fenced-in areas for the dogs to run and play including a wooded trail for an off-leash hike! One is smaller than the other. The park entry is free, clean and includes a water spout with buckets. The scenery in this area is beautiful!

We love this dog park. We have an 80 pound Bernedoodle and she is right in the middle of the pack in regards to size here. We’ve never had a problem with dogs biting or anything like that. They also have a trail that you can walk through the woods with your dog off the leash it’s all still fenced in which is so fun! Our dog loves coming here and running around. I don’t see a lot of smaller dogs here, but I think they’d be welcomed. Although there are a lot of bigger dogs.

What an amazing area! The dog park was good (we were in the smaller of two areas), but the walking trails were fantastic! Well manicured and beautiful views and plants/flowers to see along the way. Unfortunately, our dogs each came home with a few ticks each, but I guess that is to be expected this time of year and we found early before they embedded. Use a good tick prevention if going here on dogs and wear pants and shoes for the humans.

Favorite dog-friendly forest preserve. Includes large, wooded and fenced area for dogs to roam and socialize as well as beautiful prairie trails looping the larger unfenced section of the park--perfect for running a well-trained dog off-lead. Rolling hills, great view all times of the year. Picnic pavilion on-site. Outer trail loop takes about 20 minutes to walk whole perimeter. Breathe in the fresh air and connect with nature while exercising your pup.

It really is an amazing place, the only unfortunate thing about a free public dog park is that ANYONE can come. I no longer bring my Pom/Yorkie mix because of the encounters I’ve had and seen with aggressive dogs. I bring my border collie every now and then and she loves it! Just be cautious, and recognize dominant and aggressive behavior in dogs so you can stop anything from happening before it happens. Also, there is no guarantee that dogs are vaccinated so I wouldn’t be surprised if a dog with bordetella or parvo was taken here. If you want a place to take your dog that guarantees all dogs are vaccinated I recommend K9 dog park in Schaumburg.

Awesome dog park with awesome people and even more awesome dogs! Fenced in wooded area with paths and a free area for your pups to run and play with the other dogs... and it's free!!! But you don't know if any of the other dogs are vaccinated so make sure your pup is!!

This preserve has a free dog park (no membership, but rabies tag required) that is both wooded with trails and has a big open space. It didn't appear to have running water in the park, but there is a pump near the porta-johns. Dogs are also allowed off leash in the preserve proper from Sept - March(?)

Incredible hidden off-leash dog park! Great trails for both canine and human to walk/run together, plenty of shade, as well as open grassy area to run and play fetch. You do have to carry your poop bags out to the dumpster, don’t forget!

This was my first visit with my wife and American Bully. We fortunately met a handful of people and their beloved dogs. Although we began in the smaller fenced area to acclimate our dog, we soon were compelled to try the very large wooded area with trails. We simply can’t say enough how really wonderful this place truly is and so much looking forward to our next visit. I don’t want to over populate this great find; but it’s so wonderful.

The dog park itself is wonderful. My dog loves being there. Some of the owners, however, are a different story. If you don’t want other dogs near your dog, don’t bring them to a dog park. Dogs play. Dogs wrestle. If your dog is too fragile for that type of environment, please don’t expect other dogs to not behave like dogs.

Easily the best dog park around with the fenced in forest at the back. 2 gate entrance, water available on site during warmer months, usually plenty of dogs to play with (with its own benefits and risks, but the vast majority of owners are responsible and monitor their dogs for behavior issues). Long isolated dog run for introducing dogs new to playing with stranger dogs. Owners picking up after their dog seems to be hit and miss, but that's the same issue at any park. Again, the majority of owners are responsible and it's an overall very clean and friendly dog park.

We love it! Dexters and his fav friends enjoy going there as often as possible. It is well maintained, and has lots of other pups looking for some fun! Raider and Django are the tag masters but Dexters catching up. 🐾🦴🐶

My dogs love this park! I get a nice walk in through the woods and they run around like they're insane and have never run before in their whole lives! We have to go really early before anyone gets there because my 20 lb Rat Terrier thinks he's Cujo when any large dog comes into the park. Definite Napoleon complex. 😊

Great dog park! Only downside is people go whether or not their pets are vaccinated. There's a good smaller section connected that can be good for potentially frightened/reactive dogs. Open field in the front and small walking trails in the forest in the back.

This place is so beautiful & perfect for dogs! People are nice & friendly and the scenic woods that is enclosed makes it perfect. Most of the time, it is pure harmony. Unfortunately, some dog owners are irresponsible and occasionally bring in aggressive dogs. If only someone oversaw it. Again, most of the time it is pure bliss. A beautiful, scenic dog haven with cool dog owners, what more could one ask for? 🐕🐩🗣️😊

Good place to walk -- no paved trails that I saw. If it's not runny, it can be great, imagine that it would be pretty muddy in the rain. Not stroller or wheelchair friendly, but good for dogs -- saw several dogs running around leash free.

Most sweetest doggies. spacious and very generous. There are tables for us to sit and it has a poop bag area along with a faucet drain with multiple buckets for water. Love it here 🐶🦮🐕‍🦺🐕🐩
