Fogcutter is a long time corner bar and restaurant. Coming here is like stepping back in time to what the old Lake County felt like when I first moved here in the 90's. The food is pretty much a typical bar menu, with all the popular deep fried offerings, a decent burger and interesting daily specials. Portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, and the service is always friendly.

I had a great experience my first time here at The Fogcutter! The waitstaff was very nice and the atmosphere of the place seemed to be a nice low key kind of setting. The build your own burger special was excellent and the time from ordering to the table was very quick! They give you very nice portions and I know I was taking some home with me after my visit. I can see myself coming back here for sure. The different events they host make it a great place to come back to time and time again.

When we expressed a preference for eating outdoors, the very accommodating staff packed us a fine picnic. They split orders for us and provided all the utensils and condiments to make our get together great. Food was perfectly prepared. My split BLT was perhaps the best I ever had.

One of my favorite dive bars. Good craft beers on draft. The weekend brunch is the best! Got to try the biscuits and gravy. Also $5 burgers and trivia on Thursday nights! Great spot.

Fogs is one of our favorites. Food is great, the owners and all that work there make you feel at home...it's a great neighborhood place! We stopped for lunch recently. My husband had a shrimp po boy with extra shrimp and I had a great burger. They also serve breakfast on Sunday mornings with a couple of specials added to the regular breakfast menu each week. If you haven't been there before, give them a try. You'll be glad you did

Absolutely one of the worst pizza's I have ever had. Florida is very nasty and this ranks right up there. Paid 16.00 for a COLD BURNT PIZZA! The sauce was horrible sausage terrible. Also it's Tuesday so it was half off. Otherwise this garbage would have been 32.00! Never again, yuck 🤮

This was the first time we were there. Pizza (1/2 off on Tuesdays), breaded mushrooms & service was great! We will be back. Even though our server was quite taller than myself, he knocked me in my head by accident LOL.. All good.

This place can be great, but the bartenders suck the fun and energy out of your soul. Especially the blond girl. Oh my gosh she is the worst type of human. Rude, nasty and makes you uncomfortable. Like, the worst kind of vibes radiate from her. To the owner: get new staff! Bunch of wet blankets. Yikes!

Was there for a lunch get together on 9/30/2023 and was instantly greeted by the server/bartender who was there all by herself and it was about 10 of us plus the place was pretty busy. But anyways she did a wonderful job getting everyone's drinks and orders together in/out. And the food absolutely amazing 👏 . I would give it 10/10.. would definitely do it again and again..

I took a friend to dinner to Fogcutter on a Wednesday night. We ordered the chicken tenders which were plump and nicely breaded. Since we enjoyed them so much we decided to share the cod and fries. Again, the batter was excellent. Lastly, we enjoyed a thin crust sausage pizza. The sausage had great flavor with a nice crispy crust. Our server did an awesome job! I love this place!!!

Amazing comfort food but the staff rushes you to eat and get out. If you order appetizers and food they bring it all at once and then constantly hover around asking if your ready to dip. On top of that the air quality inside is like an ashtray mixed with sweat. All the light fixtures are filled with dead bugs above the tables too.Will def be back…for takeout

Update Nov 2021: I wish I could add a separate review from my first Because these guys are definitely THE best! We ordered some food for our kids this time and the portions where HUGE! We Also ordered the cheese curds, which where delicious!! -—————————————— My family and I tried this place today for carry out. We've passed this place tons of times not knowing much about it. I was looking for a local small business to support during this confusing time and was recommended this place. The food was great! Ashley took my order and was super friendly! We definitely will be coming back to this place for food and drinks in the furnture. I recommend this place and hope they stay strong in this unknowing time.

This is a great dive bar right that’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. Really great food at a fantastic price.

Food was awesome. You wouldn't think it would be because it is a very small hole in the wall but drinks were phenomenal, food was even better and the prices were great. I will be back again and again

Holy cow. This place is out of this world. From the moment I walked in I knew this would be the new go too. I admit I was a fool and tested the gut buster and bottomless mimosa. They won and are as described on the menu. My fiancé had to drive home and I have a fridge full of leftovers. The pancakes are crazy good.

You won't find a friendlier, funnier, down to earth staff anywhere! The owners and waitstaff know nearly everyone by name. Reasonably priced, and the food that comes out of their tiny kitchen is fantastic! You must try the shrimp de jonghe! Service is fast and the atmosphere has a lot of character.

Great burgers, fish, chicken tenders, fries, tots, and fried chicken sandwiches. The owners and staff are super friendly. My only recommendation is don't overcook the grilled chicken. My sandwich on Saturday was so dry I couldn't ear it.

I have heard only good things about the prime rib served here. Tried it tonight, I ordered medium rare and received medium. Plus the meat was way over seasoned. Doubt that we will go back.

We recently moved to the area, and I’ve seen their sign outside advertising trivia night, birthday wishes and other things. It definitely piqued my curiosity. We visited the night before Thanksgiving around 7:30 for dinner and a couple drinks. This place does not disappoint. It was quite crowded and there was a good vibe. The two servers were so friendly and attentive. We shared the beer battered mushrooms, fried pickles and the D&D burger. The mushrooms and pickles are made in-house as opposed to being some frozen stuff. The server had the kitchen split our burger and fries on 2 separate plates without us even asking! The burger was cooked to a very nice medium rare and the brioche bun was so soft and a perfect pillow of carbs. The burger was pink, juicy, and had the nice spring in the meat that indicates the burger wasn’t overcooked or undercooked. Hands down, those pickles were our favorite. They had the right ratio of pickle to batter. They use long, thin slices instead of coins or spears. My only minor quibble that doesn’t require star removal and is here for others’ awareness: The mushroom batter could’ve used more salt. While I sprinkled salt at the table, it can be a bit overpowering. It’s better tasting when the batter is aggressively seasoned to combat the water that leaches out of the mushrooms as they cook in the hot oil. We’ll definitely be back for bingo and karaoke nights! I’m hoping their karaoke night is meant for those of us who sing off key. They’re in for a treat when I get up to sing. 🙃

Hands down the best damn food and bar in lake county. Couldn't find better owners and friendliest staff. Food is incredible and portion sizes are beyond generous. Everything on the menu is a treat. Eating and hanging out here is literally a highlight of my week . Couldn't recommend it enough.

A dive bar with good food! Ordered the fried mushrooms the share. (Enough for 4 people!) I got the soup and salad combo and my husband got the Reuben. The service was a little slow, but they were busy.

Sketchy looking on the outside but inside is a nice surprise. Friendly staff & great service. Bar with several tables & lots of tvs. Clean but narrow, tiny bathrooms. Varied menu options that you can't go wrong. Food is delicious with generous portions. Delivery, Dine in, or take out. Karaoke is offered twice a week. Come on in enjoy good drinks, food & singing with friends!
