    Beef has been given to me when I ordered vegetarian food. It’s not acceptable to come home and see beef in the vegetarian food. Terrible service

    I would give zero if I could. The staff, especially the managers are completely flaky and useless. After informing me they could not make my food, which was a quesadilla, I was directed to the app. Which then took 14 minutes past when they PROMISED my food for someone to wander out with my order. Not of course before she got distracted by other coworkers and was laughing. I get my food and it is definitely not hot. My chips are broken. I am furious. And will never be returning to this location. As I was leaving I was flipped off by a staff member. Absolutely disgusting.

    No rice!?! It’s a Friday night! How do they make a bowl or, for that matter, any order without the base ingredient? Did they discount the price because they were out of a main ingredient? Nope. The food was cold. The service? What service?? The staff, all of them were totally clueless as to what they were doing. Dining out is a treat for us. Chipotle, at least this location, just went off our list. I wouldn’t give it even one star but the review won’t post without one. You’re in a competitive business, I’m afraid you’re out of the competition.

    I just got three bowls, I had them put on rice, carnitas, lettuce and cheese. They made me wait 10 minutes after they put on the meat to ask me what else I wanted on it. Everything is cold now. You would think being in the store instead of ordering online would be better, but Chipotle hires the people with the worst time management I have ever seen.

    Went there last night with my family. We all ordered burrito bowls with white rice. The rice was so under cooked that it was still crunchy. We addressed the issue with the manager and he happily replaced them with new bowls, however, half way through the meal my wife found a dime size piece of plastic in her new bowl!! Come on at this point that's pretty ridiculous! Once again we addressed it with the manager and he shrugged it off as though it was no big deal. The only thing he did was refund that one bowl. Adding insult to injury, today my wife and I as sick to our stomachs. Thanks Chipotle! We will not be returning.

    This Chipotle is hands down the worst location. They always mess up orders, rarely give salad dressing when ordering a salad and then when you ask for it after noticing they didn’t provide any, they refuse to make more or give you one. They also don’t offer anything in return or as a replacement if they are out. I’ve reached out to corporate several times because each order is incorrect or missing items.

    I ordered Chipotle from this place many at times it's never been the top quality Chipotle but it wasn't terrible today I had the worst experience I've ever had in any Chipotle ever, I ordered a burrito bowl a bag of chips and a drink to be delivered, I got the order at a good time no problem with delivery at all but when I received the order I barely enough chips to cover the top of the tin tray that the burrito bowl comes with 15 chips tops And they were stale as all hell I then proceeded to open up my Bruno bowl where there was barely any meat which I got half and half chicken and steak I found two pieces of steak and three pieces of chicken and one of those pieces of chicken was all fat, completely uneatable and the rice was harder than you could possibly even imagine half the bowl was not even edible I tried calling these people back several times for 30 minutes nobody ever picks up the phone, I knew this Chipotle was not the best of Chipotle could offer but they certainly showed that they have no quality control over any of their food todayI don't think I'll be going back to this Chipotle anytime soon I would most certainly drive another distance if I wanted to go to Chipotle. And I'll definitely be asking for a refund but knowing Chipotle they'll probably deny everything even though I have pictures

    Update they gave me a buy one get one free for my last order complaint...so I used it and this is what I got it's barely full about half or less there's maybe 2 tablespoons of rice a few shreds of lettuce and mostly cheese.....the meat portion seems ample if they filled up the rest may be ok .. my wife's was same way but 1 quarter of it was full of sour cream so it looked more full....my son got a burrito and it was like a mini kids burrito but the worst one was the barbacoa bowl ..very disappointed again...I guess it's true if your not there they make them small.... I'm done with chipotle...I decided this time to get a bowl ...was trying to keep a meal under 10.00..i got the chicken bowl and was going to use my own tortillas at home.....when I saw the credit card bill was 12.79 I asked my wife did you get chips or something.why was it so much ....she said they charge 2.00 plus for onions and green peppers ....also there was less than 2 ounces chicken on it ...there was maybe like 6 bites of chicken...so 12.79 for rice,cheese,lettuce,and onions and green peppers...they skimp on everything

    I’ve been to a lot of chipotles in my life and I consistently have a terrible experience every time I go to this location. There was a huge line and the employees were talking to their friends in line making everyone else wait. Had basically none of the ingredients ready and it was an absolute mess where they keep the food. I will never be back to this location. I decided to give it one more chance since it’s closest to my house but it’s worth the drive to go to another location. I understand it’s a lot of young employees but I think it’s time to eliminate some dead weight in the staff there. Not all the staff sucked just most of them

    I ordered from this location via door dash, paid 50 dollars for them to put together a burrito with a full piece of avocado, when I ordered guacamole. It’s like they just sliced big pieces of avocado, when I can just do that myself at home. With that I drove over to the location hoping to just have the burrito re-made. I didn’t want a refund. I waited in line respectfully, and once I spoke to the manager I showed her the inside of the burrito.( see picture above ) She told me the avocados they received were bad, and that there wasn’t anything she could do. If they know it’s horrible why are they still serving it? The manager had my burrito remade, however I watched the guy who made it and he completely messed it up. Once he handed it to me I was just so annoyed I didn’t even care anymore. Do not order from here.

    Chipotle used to be such great quality and service for the price, it’s not anymore. The last 4 times of me ordering at this location in a span of year, I have waited to write a review or say anything, because I wanted to give them chances. It keeps getting worse, every time I do a mobile order, they mess it up or forget ingredients. Tonight, the card machine was down and it was “cash only”, so I stood in the restaurant and did a mobile order for pick up. I only wanted 5 things on my order; rice, meat, beans, cheese and lettuce. Every single time they forget the cheese, and they did it again tonight while I was standing there. The staff was extremely rude to everyone who walked in, myself and two other customers stood by the counter and waited, one was waiting to place an order with cash, and three employees walked by us without acknowledgment or asking if we needed help. The one gentleman had to start “singing” to get the girl’s attention and she finally asked if he wanted to order… Very disappointing to deal with when you spend almost $30 on two orders worth of food! If Chipotle pays $13 an hour to work there, the employees themselves would have to work over 2 hours to afford paying for the terrible food and service that I just spent my hard earned money on!

    I’ve been able to get cilantro on my burrito bowl at any other location. The manager was there today when I requested it and he refused. This happened back in December and I gave feedback to Chipotle Corp and they said they would reach out to the store. Exact words were - “In will be reaching out to our Round Lake Beach leadership team to make sure of this gets reviewed and the proper feedback is given to the team.” So much for progress. I won’t be going to this chipotle again.

    Just had one of the most disgusting restaurant experiences of all of the covid pandemic—workers not wearing masks correctly, touching masks and proceeding to touch food, wiping down the grimey surfaces with napkins and no sanitation in sight. there was cheese and meat and sour cream smeared all over the place. horrible. none of the workers seem to know what’s going on or care about safety precautions. hesitant to even eat my bowl after that experience. never had a great time at this location but seems to be much worse than before. constantly lowering the bar!!

    The worst customer experience I’ve received in a while!!! June 26 around 2:45 I ordered a salad and got to the register and found out there was no salad dressing available. The service representative preceded to process my order without confirming that I still wanted the item. I asked if I could still order something else, he was rude and mumbled under his breath. He insisted that I wait in the long line to reorder versus quickly preparing another order considering the staff’s error. His demeanor was extremely rude, non-customer centric, and impatient! I would mention his name but he wasn’t wearing a name tag, but has a beard, purple and black nail polish. I left the location without a meal as I refuse to spend money where customer service isn’t a priority!

    I honestly go to this Chipolte alot, and I've never had any problems until today. There was a heavy set Manager there today, and she was too rude. She wasn't friendly, it seemed as if she just wanted me to leave and move on when it's my food and I want it made how I like to eat it. She gave me a dirty look and just looked like she wanted nothing to do with me. I hope it wasn't because I was white since the Hispanic girl in front of me was served with a smile. I'll most likely come again since I enjoy the food, I just hope the next experience will be MUCH MUCH Better than the one I just had

    1 star is too much. Do not go here. The service is awful. Go to Gurnee instead. I went in to pickup my order, first time I had picked up using grub hub. The app still showed preparing order. There was no one at the register. A lady walked out of the back past me and went to the soda fountain and got a drink and walked back past me to the back again. She came out and I said I had a Grubhub pickup order. She said what’s your name. I told her then she said didn’t you check the shelf it’s there already. I said no this was the first time I picked up. She said well it’s right there. I said wow kind of rude. She said it’s ok you will get over it then walked back in the back room. I asked the girl near the prep station if that was the manager, at that time the manager walked out again and said yeah I’m the manager. I told her ok I will complain to the owner or corporate. She said again it’s ok you’ll be alright. I could not locate the owners name. I have talked with corporate and they were apologetic. They gave me the store email. I have emailed them 11 times in the last couple months but no response.

    Charged me almost an extra dollar because location had no coins to give me back as change. Horrible business practice!!!! Why not round the pennies down to even dollar to help customers? Corporate greed, lack of common sense, and mismanagement are how this place is run. Stay away so you dont get ripped of and dumbed down in the process.

    They forgot my queso for my chips and later saw their was many black burned chips also,when I went back,they absolutely did not care,that I had to come back for what they had forgot, I heard the worker say his name is Brian to a girl customer behind me, he just kept saying yeah,yeah,yeah,to me when I told him my food was at home getting cold. Absolutely do not have any decent customer service at all,I will never, ever go to this Chipotle again. I gave one star because the food was okay, and I never even do reviews ever, but this was that bad,I felt I had to,they care,that little,and after I spent thirty dollars for my daughter and myself.

    Girl at cash register was mean. I come here and order the same thing. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. I stopped coming because this place was filthy last time. It’s still dirty. Whoever the manager is needs some training. So I decided to give it another chance. I had the Steak bowl and asked for cilantro. Pimple face girl behind cash register said no cilantro. She said they don’t give it out. Whenever I come here I always get it. But it’s ok. She must have been in a bad mood and she took it out on me. It wasn’t hard to add some to my meal. It would have been nice. But anyway. I have a meal with no cilantro. Mexican meal should have cilantro. So whatever her name is. Girl with a lot of pimples. She said I needed to go to Walmart if I needed cilantro. Very unprofessional. Once I get your name I’ll put it on here. But for now your name is Ms. Patty Pimples

    This chipotle in round lake beach gives MUCH smaller portions of rice and chicken than most other Chipotle stores do. Unfortunately, if we order from door dash it comes from this store. If I am picking it up, I'd always choose to go to a different chipotle that does not skimp on portions. Also, the only difference between their large bag of chips and the regular at this store, is the sticker. Save your money and just get the regular sized chips if you have to go to this store. Either way you go it will only be a small handful that barely covers the bottom of the bag. Given the numerous previous complaints on the same issues, I can only guess there will be a boilerplate reply to my post that starts out, "we are glad you enjoyed your food...." blah, blah, blah, we didn't really read what you said and have no intention of resolving the issues. BTW, I did already report my experience via the website suggested, but have not received any response.

    I don’t really rate places I go to but this was an exception, I made a mobile order and went to pick up on the time it gave me. Upon arriving my order was not even made. It was a Friday night so I understand things get busy and orders get missed, after 5 people order their food they start on mine. Here’s where I made a mistake, I was not paying attention when they were preparing my food to notice they didn’t add any meat to my bowl cause I was looking at their menu but I didn’t think They would miss the meat if the order was on the receipt the cashier gave them. The cashier apologized and I got my meal. I got home and found out my Carnita bowl had no meat in it, I went back and told them my bowl had no meat. She then ask a crew member to get my a side of the missing meat. Lol small side of meat?

    The manager never wears a mask properly. Mask is either under his nose or so loose that it’s not even covering his mouth as he yells out directions and orders, while preparing food. Will not go there again if he’s working.

    The burrito was ok, not much meat, I had barbacoa. My friend that I went with, said the burrito looked 1/2 the size it should be. She wanted Pico de gallo on the side, instead of inside her burrito and they wanted to charge her for it. She refused it. The girl making the burritos had an attitude, like she hated her job. The whole place was filthy, couldn't even find 1 clean table. We sat at a dirty one. When finished, we had to leave our garbage on the table, due to the garbage can overflowing with this mess. (See picture below) This is only my 2nd visit to Chipotle, the 1st time, they got my order wrong. I will never eat at a Chipotle again! This place was a pig sty! I treated my friend and spent over $31.00, what a terrible experience. It was late in the afternoon and we hadn't eaten all day, if we weren't starving, we would have never stayed. A big thumbs down 👎

    This location is an absolute joke. A disgrace 3 of the last 4 online orders have been messed up. Have dealt with customer service online twice about this and once directly with the store. What’s the purpose of having online ordering clearly stating which ingredients you want and still not getting what you want? Avoid this place at all costs if you’re ordering online. With COVID going on it would be nice to trust online ordering, but I promise you this place will mess your order up.

    Seven people ahead of me when I got there. By the time I got to the front of the line, they were out of white rice, black beans, and chicken. Not doing a good job at managing the food supply. Why would you wait until you’re out of something to cook it? People don’t come to your restaurant to stand in line and wait for you to cook. If I wanted, I would go to a sit down restaurant with wait staff. And I would expect to wait a period of time for my food. The goals for your store include NOT running out of food. And NOT keeping your customers waiting. Epic Fail. “BYE!”

    I really want to like this place but sadly they cannot get an order right. This is the second time my order has arrived incomplete I also left message for driver to let me know when it arrives so my food would not be cold. Ok so here we are once again with incomplete order and COLD FOOD. Look it’s very simple, you take the order you then put order in a bag then deliver to address given HOW DOES SOMEONE MESS IT UP? ITS A SIMPLE TASK. The food being cold is another issue.. GUESS WHAT THEY MAKE NO MISTAKES TAKING MY MONEY!!! I’ve never had Chipotle say ooops I forgot to charge you.. If this is our new reality when it comes to food orders we are all screwed

    Always running out of food, dirty tables, full garbages Everytime I come here, which is usually once a week. Needs better management bad. Half the employees look stressed trying to keep the customer happy, the others are standing around effing off in the back during a dinner rush, absolutely mental how they keep customers. Paying $30 for 2 bowls of stuff I settled for cause they're always out of everything is getting out of hand.

    I used to love going here. With that be said , my last pick up was terrible . Terribly understaffed and totally disorganized . Took forever to get my "call ahead" order. Employees were trying their best in an unacceptable situation of being understaffed , they were confused and disoriented,they did not know who to wait on next, or where call in orders where even, sad situation . Whomever is managing this place , get it together, I hold you responsible . I won't be going back for sometime ..

    As of tonight, this Chipotle has lost mine and my partner's business. Now twice in a row, a part of our online pick-up order was left out. About two weeks ago, both of our tortillas that were supposed to be on the side were forgotten. Tonight, I ordered steak in my burrito bowl and there was no steak which is an expensive extra charge. We will try other locations skeptically, but are not feeling too confident at the moment.

    Placed an order for pick up that said your order will be ready at 7:30. I arrived at 7:29 only a min early and I didn’t receive my food until 8:07. They basically forgot about my order because when I went up to ask them about it they printed the receipt to it and have it to someone to start around 8. Many other people got their food no problem not sure what happened here but it’s always something wrong with this chipotle.

    Not really sure what’s going on with this Chipotle, but it is going down hill. Went to them today & their doors are all locked with the staff inside. No sign on the door as the why even though your website says your open. The food lately has not been up to its normal standards and the chips are always stale. Very disappointed especially since this is one of the only ones around this area.

    Order online and waited for 25 minutes after pickup time. During a point when there were NO walk in customers, I asked if they could just make it now. The first person said yes and went to tell the staff not to make my order but her manager stopped her and told her no. I asked why and he said then they would have to make everyone else's. There were at least 10 people waiting so YES, when there are no walk in customers, help get the online orders up, completed.

    Worst Chipotle experience ever. We ordered online and chose a salad and a burrito bowl. My salad was missing rice and salsa and while the burrito bowl had everything, both were skimpy at best- maybe a third of the way full (and I’m being generous) each. I had 7 mini pieces of steak. We got chips and guac too and the chips were mysteriously under done- guac was good though. The quality and quantity of the entire meal was very low. $32 later and now we have to find something else to eat for dinner. We’ve been to this location before and it’s been pretty good, but this will make sure we don’t return.

    I work in food so I understand staffing fluctuates and sometimes you have ppl and sometimes you dont...my ONLY issue is the cleanliness of the restrooms, the last few times I'm here...gross...the toilets, walls baseboards...I didn't even use it. I see it's all young kids working so I get it but someone please detail clean the restrooms and then clean em regularly. It may be because they are unisex now but come on.

    My order from today. I ordered from Doordash 8:19pm. This is what I got. One Burrito was unwrapped and the other one WAS NOT WRAPPED AT ALL. It was not Dasher fault because the bag was sealed. Disgusting. I was ordering from you every week and it was my last time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

    I’m the one in line. There were employees having a personal conversation about how they don’t want to be there and it took them a solid minute to acknowledge my presence after making eye contact with me. While placing my order they transition their conversation from English to Spanish and the man in the back handling the food prep uses derogatory language, which was about me to the co-worker making my food (probably thinking I do not understand Spanish as I don’t look as if I speak it). A third person comes out to ring me out, joining their conversation on how their staff members are late. It was a very sad and rude experience. When placing my order, I said please and thank you over and over hoping their attitude and mood changes. That never happened. My future business is lost. I’m leaving this review in hopes the demeanor of this places changes. I cannot be the only customer treated these manners.

    This is my favorite Chipotle and not just because it's the closest. It's always clean and! The line moves fast. The staff is always friendly fast and hard working. Most of the time I get my food to go, but it's also nice to eat inside here as well. This is a fun place and the food is always excellent.
