Updated Review - 10/28/23: We were shopping at Lowe’s down the street and thinking about where to eat dinner. Immediately we both said, “Mission BBQ”! We both love it! It was late and there weren’t many people there. There was no one in line in front of us…. Fast and friendly service! I had the Cheese and Jalapeño Sausage and my wife had the Smoked Chicken entree. Both of them were delicious! We also had the cornbread, baked cheesy potatoes, green beans, and baked beans. I will always recommend Mission BBQ!!! Mmmm!!! ————————————————————————— Updated Review - 9/13/23: We had Mission BBQ cater a party we had at work. It was a huge success! Everyone LOVED the food. There was nothing left. It was delicious!!! We had pulled chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. The sides were coleslaw, cornbread, rolls, mac-n-cheese, and everyone’s favorite… the corn casserole! It is incredible!!! Everything was hot, delicious, and delivered perfect! I can’t wait to eat food from Mission BBQ again!!! ————————— Original Review: We had a Veterans function at my office and had Mission BBQ cater it. One word…. AMAZING! The food was delicious. The people that came to help serve the food were super helpful and friendly. I normally go to the restaurant and eat there…. but this was a treat having them come to me. EVERY single person I talked with loved the food. I hope they cater another lunch for us soon. In the meantime, I plan to eat at the restaurant. I highly recommend Mission BBQ!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Had a card for a free sandwich so the wife and I came here for take out. Ordered original sausage, brisket, spare ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and cinnamon apple bake. The service was fast, I think we waited about 10 mins before receiving our order. The cashier was very courteous, and gave us everything we needed and more. He also made really good recommendations on sauces available. The food was really good, my favorite was the ribs, sausages, and cinnamon apple bake. The prices are reasonable, and the service was amazing. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for BBQ. Looking forward to my next visit.

We came in super hungry and I really, really wanted to love the place. Very patriotic decor in and out. Self service. But the food was just ok: Brisket wet - somewhat bland. I didn't know what the carb count was in all the 6 different sauces on the table so I skipped them. Hubby said they were ok. Now here was something special - their NC vinegar was da bomb! This saved the meal. Baby back ribs 5 - we got 6 hehe thanks. Opposite of the brisket, this was too salty. I wish they could find a happy medium. Cornbread - yummy, though since I'm on keto, I only had 2 bites. Overall, ok. Wouldn't go out of my way to revisit.

First time here today and yeah this place is fantastic. Very friendly employees great atmosphere and look to the place and the food...dam was it good. Very flavorful and delicious, the food doesn't even need sauce, and those fresh cut fries, wow so good. This will be our goto spot when we head to kenosha again

Thank you missions so much. I’m going to be honest we having a hard past year with my dad going through stage 4 cancer and he barley makes it out of the house anymore. We decided to come out and spend our money here knowing we might not be able to spend a bunch of extra money anymore but this place made it worth it. They didn’t have some food when we went to grab our order so they gladly gave us a refund, free sandwich coupons and gave us 2 free sandwiches for free right there as a replacement for the food they didn’t have. Gave us a free dessert too. And offered us free sides. Made my dads experience going out for the first time in a while worth it. The staff was so friendly and we are great full we decided to stop here for our time outside the house. Absolutely worth coming here and made our day.

Young lady at the front register was great! It was our first time there and she explained everything really well, and gave us great suggestions! Very sweet! Amazing customer service and the food was fantastic!

We stopped and Mission BBQ after the movie theater. He was like 8 o’clock, and when we walk in our surprise was there a lot of the items were sold out of the day first thing coming to my mind was an open up barbecue place because I want to have the good sales these people have For barbecue we ordered some items that was still in the menu for that today state I got a pull pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich was amazing delicious and besides the ribs and more items was not in the menu of available today for Sol out who is very good like this do you know people have an attention you know damn well Food is fresh as can be because people coming and get food and eat. Happy and enjoy the flavors and I’m really enjoying my food. I’m really enjoy the most For and definitely definitely this is one of my favorite spots. I’m coming to Kenosha from Chicago.

I walked in and was immediately welcomed by every employee there, they were so helpful in helping me decide what to order as well. They gave me several samples of their other foods which were amazing, all on the house. They offered to fill our cups, give us other free samples if we were interested, and treated us with the upmost of respect. Will absolutely be going again soon, they have better customer service than any other place I’ve been before, I highly recommend going!!
