😠 Misty from the front desk is completely unprofessional. She was extremely rude to not only me, but other patients waiting. There is no way that I would have someone like her being " the face" of my company. She's the first impression of that location, and let me tell you, it wasn't a good one. Patie... People often mention time, wait, care, desk, staff, appointment, friendly, waiting, front, people,

Misty from the front desk is completely unprofessional. She was extremely rude to not only me, but other patients waiting. There is no way that I would have someone like her being " the face" of my company. She's the first impression of that location, and let me tell you, it wasn't a good one. Patients come in not feeling well and have to deal with her rudeness and it's unacceptable. Clearly others feel the same way from reading previous reviews. If she can't be professional in her role then maybe it's time her position is reevaluated.

We ended up waiting 3 hours for my 2 year old who had croup to be seen. While there he started declining. When I asked a nurse for advice on taking him to the ER she refused to assess the situation and told us there were two more people in front of us. We ended up being transported via ambulance to the ER and then again several hours later to the Pediatric ICU. We spent valuable time waiting to be seen. If there had been triage in place or more staff, we could have gotten him to the ER sooner and the situation perhaps wouldn’t have become as serious.

the fat blonde lady all these reviews are talking about - at the front is always extremely rude. I have been a northshore patient my entire life and she is not a good customer service representative this place should be embarrassed for letting someone with such a nasty attitude work at the front desk. came in at 9am today because i’ve had horrible ear pain and she told me they are not taking patients anymore and this is the second time she does this to me, last time she advised me to come as early as possible if I ever need to get checked out because they won’t get me in anytime after 2pm so I do so and still receive this treatment. Told me to go to my PCP even though I can’t get an appointment for weeks from now. horrible lady, horrible service, northshore isn’t what it used to be anymore.

The Dr.s are great, the one man at the front desk is great! The women at the front desk are awful! Rude and condescending!!! I wonder how many complaints about the blonde it will take for someone to have a stern talk with her or fire her! My daughter went in for an OB appt. She has anxiety and is in her third trimester. This lady had her in tears for hours. She better pray I don’t confront her, she’ll be the one in tears!

Horrible place. Please avoid!!! If you want to wait for 2 hours and receive no help you can go there. I came in with abdominal pain and all they did is a urine test, which I didn't ask for and gave me some Tums. I was inform I was getting tested for UTI ( just to be sure) and next thing I know I'm being charged for pregnancy test.

I've had to come here a few times for my son. Everything wait times are very long, today I arrive 15 minutes after opening for the immediate care. They tell me will be a little over an hour would call me around 1040 when they are ready. 1140 comes I walk back in and they put me as a no show. The front desk staff are terrible. Doctors are fine though.

This Northshore location is a joke. I arrived about 7 minutes late, well within my grace period. There was a line to check in, and the receptionist was moving like pond water. When I got up there, she claimed I was in line for 2 minutes when it was actually closer to 10 minutes. She accused me and my husband of lying straight to our faces. She refused to check me in, saying I missed my appointment. I have been waiting for the appointment for a MONTH and have been in pain due to endometriosis. I had to reschedule, so now I wait AGAIN because of a slow old woman and a practice that doesn't separate people with appointments from walk-ins. I'll never trust Northshore again. After my next appointment, I'll be searching for a new group of doctors.

I wouldn't take my dog here. Not willing to help with ANYTHING. I'm starting to think it's a scam. They'll tell you to go ahead and book the appt, then you get there and they dont have the equipment to even assess you! Then they tell you they'll wipe the bill if you go to their hospital. I took my chances at home, they treat you even worse at the hospitals. Avoid the big ones, advocate, amita, northshore, money grubbers not concerned about anything but money. The doctors are too worried about having issues so if you have any blips or history of pain or anxiety, its permanent and they treat you like a lifer. I saw it right there in my file. Dr. Hang Was nice enough, I just wish he doctored.

Receptionists Misty and other older ladies there like to gossip, aren’t friendly and threatening you to make a payment even though NorthShore provides payment options. Avoid this location and go to the others near by, even if the drive is a few mins. Spoke to the manager, didn’t help me understand why her place of business is different then 15 Tower Ct and the 7900 Rollins… Anyway, avoid! Thinking of changing doctors and location! Or even providers! Mundelein Pediatrics was better, can’t believe this is NorthShore now… just sad!

Very disappointed that an entity presenting as Immediate Care, requires an appointment. And to add insult to injury, all the Immediate Care practitioners take lunch at the same time. Nourishment is important, fact, but I don't know how Immediate Care is provided when the entire team is away between 1pm-230pm. Staggering lunches feels like a better approach to be able to deliver on the "Immediate " part of the "service". Finally, promised the first appointment after lunch or 2:30p only to still be waiting at 3p and I arrived at 1:15pm. Short story: Immediate doesn't mean Immediate here.

Great experience! Needed lab work, was concerned about a long wait time due to feedback. Decided to stop in and see. I was check-in and done with my labs in less then 30 minutes total. The front desk was very nice and the space is swt up in a great way to feel safely distanced from others. The people doing my labs were detailed and thorough. Definitely recommend this location.

I’ve been coming here as a patient since it opened (both urgent care and the regular clinic). Generally good experiences. But, c’mon, guys - a medical facility ON a bike trail, with ZERO bike racks? And 3 benches??

I needed to leave a blood draw with the lab after an acute care visit. The nurse told me to go to the front desk and tell them I needed to do that, and wait, after 45 minutes of waiting I went back to the desk only to be told that they all went to lunch. I live 10 minutes away, I could have just come back. The next day I returned with another sample they requested, and rather than just letting me drop it off I was told to wait for someone from the lab to come out and get it from me. It was supposed to stay under refrigeration. Finally after 20 minutes they took the sample and I could leave, the place wasn't even very busy. Next time I'll try Gurnee.

(Translated by Google) Wait 1 hour and 50 minutes, they never called the phone so I had to go back into the building to get the doctor in. They are lazy and only talk to each other. A lady came in who wanted to take the covoid 19 test and they talked and laughed with her for 10 minutes, putting the rest of the people in the waiting room. Amazing! The nurse did not listen or lend fear to my medical conditions and prescribed an antibiotic without trying other alternative means due to my state of health. I don't know what else to say, I feel helpless and disappointed by the total lack of professionalism!

I was seen several months ago while very sick. The facility was immaculate, and every person I had contact with was empathetic and knowlegable. Great experience overall.

Immediate care center. You'd think you can just walk in during their business hours. I walk in and there's a big sign that they aren't seeing any more patients for the day. Makes perfect sense 😒

If you are sick go find yourself a doctor. By all means do NOT come to this faceless corp. You are just an appointment #.

Waiting time is horrible here. One time I had to wait a long time with my 1 month old baby even with appointment and this time its been more than 1:15 hour waiting for the lab to be done. There is no social distancing with 6 feet apart or no idea how long to wait. If they would have been told it will take this long, I could wait outside in my car. I still appreciate their customer service.

The providers and regular appointments are great, we really enjoy Dr. Kriendler. Our complaint is regarding the immediate care walk-ins. It’s Sunday afternoon 3:30pm, checked online and Mundelein and Gurnee both said full and no more immediate care patients today. Round Lake Beach immediate care did not have that notice. My 9yo is sick so we came in. Pull into parking lot and basically empty, 1 car and 1 NorthShore van. Walk into the lobby and it’s literally empty except for the receptionist. A sign just inside the door says they are at capacity which she confirms. I don’t understand how if nobody is here!! I mention that the online portal does not say they are at capacity and she has no explanation except that they have been at capacity for several hours! Really my 9yo is obviously sick right here, no body in the waiting room and empty parking lot and still get turned away!!??

I've noticed low ratings; however, I'm going to share my experience which was seriously the best care I've been provided since moving to IL. Environment: very clean and open lobby area to check in. It was a bit odd having to disclose your information with little privacy, but honestly, when I got up there, it wasn't an issue. Mrs. Valerie helped me and she was friendly and very professional. She would lower her volume when asking confidential information which I really appreciated. The lobby has a lot of room and they do enforce wearing masks which is a good thing. I've been to Advocate in Round Lake and it was crowded and they disregard any safety measures there. North Shore take covid precautions into consideration which is a very good thing. I was then escorted by Alisa into the back area where she took my vitals. She was friendly and professional as well even though it was very busy. Please keep in mind, this was Black Friday and Alisa was running around like a mad woman but she was fantastic. You know that she enjoys what she does, so thank you, Alisa. Lastly, my NP was Heather. She was personal, friendly, and a great listener. Her bed side manner literally receives a 10/10. We need more professionals like Heather. Thank you North Shore Staff for making my first experience at your facility a great one!

Just came here for bloodwork and was a bit worried about all the awful reviews, but I was completely overwhelmed by the polite and inviting nature of all the individuals working here. I was in and out within 15 mins. I arrived around 915 and am writing this review at 929. Absolutely amazing. Thank you!

First time at this location and everyone was very friendly. Waiting area was clean. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Nurse practitioner was very thorough, friendly and answered all my questions. The place was packed and they took care of me very quickly.

Great urgent care facility! The staff were very friendly, efficient and made everything about my fiance's visit easy going and even fun with a light-hearted sense of humor that was appropriate and welcomed. The office staff, medical assistant and RN were all fabulous, detail oriented and caring as well. When we came here initially, they would not have been able to see us immediately so we chose to have our information taken and be seen at a appointment the following morning. Very convenient actually! NOTE: I think people coming to this facility should keep in mind that it is an urgent Care location and not a standard doctor's office. Because of this, those who walk in have no set appointment time and have to wait for the next available doctor. They also may be waiting for people who came in when it was packed and set an appointment either for later in the afternoon or the following day. In other words, be smart and set up an appointment.

Arrived at 230pm they were supposed to be open till 5. Was told they were booked till 5. One person in the waiting room. Six cars in the lot. Unless 30 people took cabs there I find this to be a lie. If u have to close early just say so and apologize. Ended up down the road at another immediate care and mentioned north shore closing early. They said they heard north shore has a quota for the day and closed when reached. Put that on your website then, like stores do, doctor appointments available until sold out. We may close early. And answer the phone. I tried calling ahead. I ended up in your competitors ER. Bad way to get new patients.

I just went there and based on the 2/5 star I was skeptical. But I didn't even sit for 15 mnts they called me in, the clerk that attended me was extremely nice 😊 very good people. Practitioner was a PRO and made me feel so good even though I could barely see in one eye. Just amazing!!!

I would not recommend going here unless all you need is a test. My wife came in with a tonsil stone, which she has a very long history of. Nurse dismissed my wife's statements about the tonsil stone and her history of them. The nurse peeked briefly into her mouth, stated that she didn't see anything, ran a covid test, and dismissed my wife. When I got home I looked in my wife's mouth with a small flashlight and could see the tonsil stone immediately! My wife ended up doing the nurse's job by removing the tonsil stone herself that evening. the following day, her other related symptoms were gone. One bill later and a week without pay because the nurse couldn't be bothered to take a few extra moments to give my wife proper care. I will never return here. If you can't take the time to give proper care to your patients, you shouldn't be in business. I'll sooner go to the ER than go here. I understand the test as a precaution, but that doesn't excuse ignoring a patient's medical history and symptoms.

Front desk staff, especially Thomas are amazing!!!! Every time I go to Gurnee location I am send here. I think in the future I will only be coming at Round Lake. Thanks for everything you do!!!

My family has been coming here for various reasons, blood draws and routine appointments. Have never had a bad encounter. Front desk staff have always been professional and nice. Medical staff have all been very friendly and professional. People need to realize it's an immediate care center so waits may be long and hard to predict because of patients needs and issues. So be patient and respectful, they're doing their best. Place is always clean and has good social distancing as well.

The front desk staff were very rude. I had to wait 3hrs in the lobby for walk-in blood tests. During that time they were telling ppl it would be a 4hr wait for lab work or walk in office visits. Then they just started turning people away altogether. I had to fast for my blood work and my glucose was down to 50 by the time they called me. The only positive thing about this location was the phlebotomist, she was kind, fast, efficient and she had juice waiting for me after she was done drawing.

I had excellent service I was nervous after seeing the one review but gave it a shot. The place is clean and the desk staff was super friendly. I don't have insurance but they still treated me for $116 and still did xrays and nebulizer treatments on me and there wasn't any additional charge. The nurse practitioner was very professional and understanding to my pain and needs and had me prescribed medication for the many things wrong with me that day. I would reccomend this place to my friends and I definitely plan to go back if I should need to do so.

I had a very pleasant experience here. I was with advocate as an employee and patient along with my children. I decided to give the NorthShore facility a try, and I am impressed. The facility was immaculate, the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The advocate immediate care don't have the best knowledge for pediatrics and NorthShore had a great amount of knowledge! I was so happy with my experience there, I will be a NorthShore patient from here on out.

Every time I go to a Northwestern location for a blood test I have to wait at least 1 to 1 1/2 hours. You would think they would try to do better.
