Canceled my membership because of their no firearms policy. When are these businesses going to learn that mass shooters target these types of businesses.

I've been going to this gym for 5 months, for the quality, service, and overall experience. The price is definitely worth it. The machines are organized in a way where you have the weights in one section and cables, treadmills, and other machines in another. The staff are all so nice and I've talked with most of them they have great personalities. They are always cleaning and also make sure to check you in quick. The things I hope that they could improve is the AC and start getting cold air inside the building, sometimes it feels hotter than it does outside. Overall I love this gym I go everyday and it feels like home I definitely recommend it. 5 stars for sure.

Manager and employees are really nice, too bad owners so cheap and apparently apathetic.Takes forever to fix broken equipment, padding cracked or completely worn off, almost every treadmill has one or more problems, lights burnt out in shower areas for years, showers not properly cleaned if at all. No wonder all their other locations are closed. Half the members cant be bothered to show proper gym etiquette, not wiping off equipment or even putting weights away or sitting on their cell phones 5+ minutes tying up machines. I guess when you charge $15 a month you get a lot of $15 type people.

I came for one day , since I am from out of state I come all the way from the west coast and absolutely HATED IT! One of the PERSONAL TRAINER were so rude , just because I passed the cones and had no respect towards me & even reported me!

Not overpriced. Plenty of space and good machines. Not too crowded either. Tanning and hydro massage available too. Employees are nice. The place is also clean and wall maintained. Open early but don't stay open all night.

The gym overall is nice and clean but the girls showers always seem like they have never been clean. I’ve complained a few times but doesn’t seem like anything has changed

Fitness employees hate their job. Very rude. Came in to re-open my account due to having surgery and the manger was very rude and told me basically there’s no proof I came in and cancelled. I’m very upset how they handle this situation, I’ve been going here for 2 years and haven’t seen employees come and go from here too. Horrible staff. Machines are awesome! I wouldn’t recommend this place .... get your money worth somewhere else . I’m hoping your business starts to change how they train employees to communicate with customers.

It is another workout place with a lot of consistently bad reviews. For every Bad review, there are ten people who feel the same way but don’t bother to write anything. I am a reviewer with over 3million views and I read lots of reviews by others before I buy.

I was never informed when they were opening back up after the lockdown. I walked in one day and they had been open for 2.5 months. They required me to pay for the 2 months they were open before allowing me to work out again. They never called me to let me know they were opening or anything. I would 100% have used the gym those 2 months if I new I could have.

This is a local gym that Crunch Fitness bought. Currently, equipment needs to be upgraded badly as it is worn and in some cases unsafe (wobbly decline bench, cracked bench padding, worn cables and handles, worn treadmills, and one Smith machine that freezes up). There are not as many squat racks as new crunches, but they do have 3 if you include smith presses. Facility floors could be cleaner in stretching area, but all the floors are worn though. Has an old school no frills gym vibe if you like that. The front desk was friendly, but my Crunch app would not scan in. They recognized the error and let me exercise. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and sufficient space, but none of the dryers in the women's worked. I was excited to see this area get a Crunch gym and hope that management upgrades the facility to meet Crunch standards.

How do we cancel our membership if you're closed due to shut down

All of a sudden now they're doing capacity limits. Max 50 people during rush hour. 1 in. 1 out. So they'll make you stand in the lobby area amongst other people in close proximity until the rush slows. LA FITNESS isn't doing that, so guess where I'll be headed to until this is over.. i really feel like zip is being WAY TO AGGRESIVE while other businesses are not. Somebody needs to tell these people it's okay to bend the rules slightly.

Air quality is good. Clean. Lots of machines weights and accessories. Getting better at maintaining them. Basic amenities in locker room. Very friendly staff and clientele. Amazing prices and had helped me loose 60 lbs and keep it off.

Large facility. Equipment is worn down and several machines out of order. There is the main floor with all the different machines for leg, arms, chest, bikes, ellipticals, row machines, treadmills, stair climbers etc. Then there's a seperate area for circuit workouts, another area for free weights. An Arobic room and another area for whatever you would want to use it for. They do have very good rates, $24.99 for you and a guest. You do not get a t-shirt or water bottle. They have not updated the website that says you do with your membership, but you get what you pay for I guess. Bathrooms/locker rooms are clean and in working order. They have tanning and body massager there as well. During the day is not as busy as during the night. All other facilities they had surrounding this one have been permanently closed, very sad.

Crunch Fitness in Round Lake is truly the BEST GYM! The staff is always so nice and greets everyone who comes in and out! There is a ton of equipment and machines to use, as well as workout classes starting that I have attended! The classes are great so welcoming whether you’re a beginner or someone who is more advanced there is always an option for everyone on their fitness journey! Megan does a wonderful job at motivating us, and empowering us when taking her classes! I highly recommend taking her classes,I also highly recommend becoming a peak member and getting all the extra amenities like the HYDRO MASSAGE BED!! I loved ended my workout with the massage!

Feels like every other treadmill/elliptical doesn't work which is really frustrating. I rarely see people clean the machines when they are done with them. The mattress they have for stretching are so dirty it's disgusting I could not bring myself to use it. I guess you get what you pay for.

Good for the money. They do however need more benches. The tow that they have dont cut it bc the ametuers like to clog it up benching just the bar with maybe a 10 on it if that. Anyways good value.

Staff is very friendly and I was excited to see what they had done with Zip Fitness because I needed a gym and this is very close. I also used to be a member of Crunch when I lived in Massachusetts and it was my favorite gym. I looked at the website and it was not super clear where they were in the remodel process but I looked at the virtual tour and it looked promising. Besides the banner above the business everything is the same. I was a little disappointed because I love the energy and decor the typical Crunch gyms have and I was hoping to sign up today. Crunch gyms are usually fun, unique and lively. This gym currently still has all its the old equipment and decor. It is also very dark and drab inside. I did not notice any signs communicating when remodeling would begin but I wish I would have asked the staff. If you need something that is inexpensive and convenient then this may be right for you. I look forward to having another visit once the remodel is complete.

Nice place, Anthony behind the desk is especially thoughtful and helpful. This is not an all things to all people. It specializes in machine work ( no track or pool ) but plenty of machines. A great place for serious work outs. New owners are promising new and additional equipment and hopefully will keep the present employees!

Gym is great. There is no doubt. But there is few things need to consider by the management. 1- Have anyone noticed; one side of the power rack all in one has been out of ordered for last 3 weeks and still hasn’t fixed. 2- could have expand the free weights section little bit more. ( may be switch to core and abs section area, which is slightly bigger that free weight area I believe)

Abandoned gym smh! For as long as this place has been open and memberships they have open, there’s no excuse why more then half of their equipment is not working! Pads need to be replaced! Employees sit behind the desk with their phones while there no disinfecting whips to clean your machine after use!

Had a membership canceled on March 11, 2019, waited to hear from the manager, but she never called me back. When I did talk to her, she told me that refunds are done at the end of the month. And it take 30 days for it to be mailed to me. I paid in full, called her again and was told that she will email the owner and all me back, that was last week still have not heard from her......
