Park is lovely and big enough for dogs to run around and have fun. Now that they have a street light to get in and out, it's so much easier!

We love the Lake County Forrest Preserves off leash parks. They are a great place to exercise your dog we go 3-4 days a week and my Chester loves the freedom to explore. There is a different level of tired and satisfaction when going to the dog park over the backyard. ~$50 a year well worth the price. Poop bags are provided and the facilities are well maintained.

This place is great. It does cost money so it's better if you live close and buy the year pass. So much space that even on busy days you can find an area to walk that's somewhat quieter

Clean nice park. My rating is lowered because there is a dog that is there every morning between 6:30am & 7:30am that is nasty. He attacked my dog twice and the owner blamed my dog because she barked at hers. When talking to other people about what happened to my dog they all know which dog I’m talking about and know someone who had a similar run in with that dog or their own dog did. If you aren’t planning on visiting the park that early in the morning you will love it!

This was a great fig park. Open space. Clean and a bit of water if your dog likes to jump in. We live in Chicago so we did need to pay a daily fee of$20. But I think it was worth it.

It is a great place to take your dogs for exercising and interaction with other dogs! Our dogs LOVE to go there! Dog owners can have very nice interaction with other dog owners as well. We enjoy Duck Farm Forest Preserve very much!

The dog park costs but the forest preserve is free. The preserve is mostly unmaintained/overgrown with no way-finding. I love the untouched feel of that though, and there is often nobody else in the preserve

Dog park is great, just beware of other lazy dog owners that don't watch there aggressive dogs BE AWARE. you will also need a car permit to park or you will be ticketed. Watch for lazy dog owners that don't pick up poop as well overall nice place.

By far the best dog park I’ve visited. Perfect for a long walk with your dog. It does however get fairly muddy, so be prepared for your pup to get their paw dirty!

Great place for the dogs to run. Not quite as wild as Independence Grove can be if you go off trail, but a far better place for dogs to play together in space.

  • 3/5 Kym D. 2 years ago on Google
Went there last Saturday after some heavy rain. It’s very muddy large enough but I think that independence Grove is 10 times better. There was water there and when we were there it said not to drink as bacteria was high kind of frightening. Probably won’t be going back.

Wonderful off leash dog park. Beware there is multiple areas with water(some clean and flowing some not so much). Once you know where they are there is still plenty of room to enjoy the park without having to go straight to a doggy wash after.

Have been here multiple times. Really like the fenced dog park. Many many acres for the dogs to run around. Tables for the owners to sit at while lettings play with one another. Towards the back of the park they do have a good-sized pond for the dogs to swim in. Bring towels so they dont drag water/mud into your vehicle. Does cost money to use this park though.

Wonderful place!! Lots of open space as well as creeks for a cold dip! Highly recommend!

My dog absolutely LOVES coming here, although smaller dogs have been aggressive on a few occasions. I have a bull terrier who will defend herself if provoked. She's strong, which makes me very apprehensive about ever going back. I just bought a $50 tag, too!

A great place to let your dog run free. Socialising your canine makes your dog happy! Daily passes available at the park.

Great place to take your dogs for play time and long walks. Worth the price of membership. Big enough that you can have your own space away from other dogs if you prefer. Front entrance area ideal for your dog to play with others.

Great place to socialize your doggies! Lots of paths on former farm fields to walk through. A small creek for puppy drinks. Water and poop bags provided (water off during winter). Get your season permit through Lake County Forest Preserve.
