I'd
give
it
zero
stars
if
I
could.
We
were
told
by
a
waitress
that
the
boat
shuttle
to
the
island
started
running
at
5:00pm.
When
we
arrived
at
5,
we
were
told
it
didn't
start
until
6:00.
This
is
on
a
Friday
night!
The
bartender
(who
said
he
was
also
the
manager)
had
3
customers
waiting
at
the
bar,
all
discussing
how
frustrated
they
were,
regarding
how
long
they'd
been
waiting
to
be
served.
Oddly
the
place
was
empty,
so
not
sure
why
the
slow
service.
When
we
were
finally
acknowledged,
I
mentioned
to
him
that
we'd
been
told
the
incorrect
time
for
the
shuttle
service,
thinking
he
might
want
to
know
someone
on
staff
is
giving
incorrect
info.
Instead
he
said
in
a
rather
condescending
manner,
"look
I
don't
know
who
told
you
that,
but
we'll
get
you
on
the
shuttle
for
free".
We
weren't
looking
for
a
free
ride,
or
free
anything,
but
hoped
for
a
little
compassion
since
we
drove
a
long
distance
to
experience
our
first
visit
to
Blarney
Island,
which
now
we
didn't
have
enough
time
to
accomplish.
At
that
point
I
realized
it
was
just
as
well
that
our
visit
was
about
to
end
there,
because
neither
the
bartender/manager
or
any
other
workers
were
diligently
wearing
protective
face
coverings.
Most
of
the
servers
wore
them
on
their
chins,
beneath
their
mouth
and
nose.
I
thought
this
was
mandatory
by
law
in
IL?
All
around
a
very
unfortunate
experience.
