I just paid for lettuce and croutons… guess how much? $10! I asked for a dinner salad and this is what you send a 5 year customer? This is unacceptable.

AAAAA+ There is another place we go to but they were closed.. So we decided to try Ron's OMG. Delicious!! We have lived out here for 14 years I have to say this pizza is the closest to the North side of Chicago where I was born and raised.. Plenty of ingredients delicious ingredients good quality ingredients and a wonderful crust you can't go wrong it tastes good as it looks thank you. And I must say I have never had such delicious cheese cheesy bread ever.

Usually pretty good. Tonight, not so much. Chicken on my Caesar was about 3 days old (leathery), fries were from yesterday....very cold. Asked for no croutons, got croutons. Diet coke was non-existent. No fork for my salad. Plenty of napkins though, which they normally forget.

Pizza was pretty good 👍! We ordered Xtra cheese which it probably didn't need it. Sauce is good and plentiful. Sausage and pepperoni above average. We will definitely try it again. This isn't kid friendly. It's a bar that serves pizza and plenty of foul language and adult conversations.

I'm from Chicago and you know how we feel about our pizza. This is the best pizza in Lake County. The sauce is outstanding. The crust is perfectly crispy. The chicken wings were also a big hit.

Waited an hour for delivery, shorted me an entire meal out of the 3 meals ordered. Had to call multiple times and wait on hold for 15+ minutes. After another hour I finally got my meal in full. What a joke. Will never order from Ron's again.

Called a head of time asking when last food order would be taken, was told 8:45 pm. Arrived at the restaurant at 8:33pm told kitchen was closing soon; then told we would have to order it to go? Handed menus and waited about 7 minutes to take our order only to be told that we could not order pizza??? Not sure why there were so many reasons to not serve us when there was more than enough time to cook our food before closing time. We live very close to Ron’s have eaten here many times but the customer service given tonight was way way below average and unacceptable!

My husband and I sit in the bar area and order appetizers while waiting on the food. Tracy is always so friendly and sweet, we love her! Carla has been awesome as well. The food has gotten much better weer as of lately (within the last year) and their thin crust pizza is now a favorite of mine. I also recommend their chicken grinder sandwich, delicious!

Caramelized crust on the Chicago style is to die for. Seriously the best Chicago style pizza in the Grayslake / Gurnee area.

I placed a large order for 80 people. Food was great and delivery was made on time. Tons of compliments!!!!

In the past year they have gotten at least three orders wrong. Unfortunately we kept going back because they are conveniently close by. This last time my wife called in an Italian beef sandwiches and an Italian sausage with provolone and marinara sauce. The order taker repeated the order back but did not say marinara, my wife asked if it will have provolone and marinara, she was told yes. We waited 20 minutes, picked up the food, and came home. No marinara. My wife called and complained, she asked for a replacement sandwich and a refund. She waited over 10 minutes for a manager and then they refused a refund. She was told they would make another one for free ( they don’t understand free, we already paid for it) or a store credit. (Again we already paid for it, it would be a credit for money we already spent). We eventually said just make me sandwich and I went to pick it up. I waited close to 10 minutes in the store, during that time the manager never came up instead she was in the back loudly complaining to another employee that we wanted a refund. In fact a refund all together was not even an option they had my money and if I was too displeased with the poor service and wrong food that was too bad.

Whatever we have ordered has always been fresh and delicious. Good portions and fairly prices.

Out here on vacation and found Ron's. Kaley was training Robin and both did an excellent job of taking orders and helping costumers. Our thin crust pizza was perfect. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.😎😎😎

Food came out quick and was amazing. The portion is just right for the price. Not the healthiest food but was definitely worth it! Lovin Ovens is around the corner if you want desert!

This is THE BEST pizza places around. Been coming here for many years. All pizza and sandwiches are delicious! Note; do not confuse this Italian Ovens for the one in Grayslake. Italian Ovens Round Lake is the best.

Went here on a Friday night for dinner. I had the Italian beef juicy with cheese and red sauce. It was delicious. My friend had the baked mostacolli. Large serving and very rich in flavor. Our server Tracy was outstanding and very personable. I will definitely go back. That atmosphere is very quaint for a beighborhood bar/restaurant.

Hands down the best pizza around !! Also awesome beef's but seems like lately there's been less beef and cheese but still good. Pasta, cheese garlic bread, onion rings and everything else we've had has been great. My family has never been disappointed with this place !!

Somewhat loud but it's a bar... But chicken toasted grinder yummy. And hubby with chicken parmesan. Very hot temp wise and also very tasty. Great server/ bartender. Will definitely go again. Not a bad meal yet!

Best deep dish I've had in Chicago land area hands down and I'm originally from New York so I'm hard on my critiques with pizza but the sauce cheese and pepperoni were perfectly portioned hats off to the chef and it was really well priced also and the waitress was really nice as well ..better then all of the places that claim they are the best deep dish awesome awesome place would give ten starts if I could

Ordered catering for a party of 30+ people. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was and asked where we got it from. They were very flexible in having the food ready for us to pick up early. We will definitely be using them for any future parties

This pizza has me in a choke hold.😩 It's the slightly crispy yet foldable bottom of the slice that brings me back to NYC every time. We order from here almost every Friday. My go-to is a thin 16-in pie with pepperoni, extra cheese, cut pie, and a side of cheesy bread sticks. I add the garlic powder and red pepper flakes at home🔥😋 it always hits. Although we have yet to dine in, the staff is always very friendly and place is always clean when we pick up an order.

Very good! We went in to "sample the items we're looking at getting catered for our big family Xmas party - so there of us got; 2 beef sandwiches, 1 sausage sandwich, 1 order of mosticioli and chicken strips. Split between us all so we could all "taste test" everything.

Well, that was a total waste of money. Ordered chicken Parmesan dinner with mostocolli for pick up along with antipasta salad. When did chicken Parmesan become a huge serving of mostocolli with the equivalent of one breaded chicken tender diced up into tiny pieces? I was expecting a nice plump breaded chicken breast to cut into. Unbelievable. $15 for a serving of dry mostocolli with a few morsels of chicken. Anti pasta salad was ok once I picked out all the brown lettuce. Never again. You lost a customer of many years. Your skimping does not go unnoticed.

Got the meatball sub it was great sat at the bsr the bartender was nice .it wasnt crowded as it was a sunday afternoon.

Really good food. Anything I order is good. I've ordered almost everything. The wings are yummy. The hot are great and the sweet chili ate amazing!. Try any of their sandwiches. They're yummy too.

Decent food. However, the pick up experience was not good. They told me 1 hour 15 mins but when I got there I had to wait an extra 50 mins.... and when I got home, my order was wrong. They told me the next time I go there they'll give me a discount. I haven't ordered there again but we'll see. I'll update my post to see if they actually do what they say.

Love this place! We have been ordering from them for over 2 years and the food is consistent- always delicious and they never mess up an order. The customer service is also very impressive, and every time we order the woman taking the order is friendly, professional and happy. We also love our delivery driver, Bob! He’s the best and so nice. If I could give more stars I would!

I saw nothing but a bunch of young college age boys working there and all they did was screw around and it took forever for the food to be done. I warn people all of the time to just skip this place.I cringe everytime I have to pass this place on my way to Lovin Oven next door.

Ron's use to be our weekly go to. We've given them several tries in hopes that it was a learning curve for the new owners. Unfortunately, it's not. Italian beef bowl is 1/2 the size it was, the calzone had no filling, there is always a mistake with the pizza (not pie cut, not well done, wrong ingredients), the garlic bread is chewy, and the food is inconsistent. To top it all off, there was a piece of shaved metal in my chicken parmesan.

Ordered for the first time and it is a good pizza, but it's also one of the most messiest, soggiest and uneven cut pizzas ever. Too much cheese is not a blessing and just becomes rubber as you chew. First impressions matter and will avoid this place or at least give thin crust a try maybe 2 years from now. Wasted $23 and that's what annoys me. I could have stuck with what I know and gotten another local pizza that was cheaper, made perfect and tastes better.

We use to be huge Ron's fans and then everything changed. The Italian beef is much smaller than it use to be, the calzone is smaller and there's next to no filling in it. And only one time have they actually gotten our pizza well done. Tonight's crust was actually really soggy, not well done or crisp. We really wanted to like Ron's because we enjoyed going in there once a week for a few drinks and dinner.i can say that the mozzarella sticks are still the best.
