The food was really good. They actually serve a very good quality food. Quite tasty. I felt like it was totally worth it coming here. The decorations were nice though could be better with more plants. It's a bit too gloomy inside and really not comparable with a lot of other Asian places that do not look very good. I'm excited about their tablet menus. So nice and convenient. The staff was quite friendly. The place looked tidy. Not sparkling clean but comfortable. I will definitely come back.

My favorite branch in all MingHin restaurants. The interior design is great, and it’s usually much less hectic and busy. The quality is pretty standard across branches without much difference. The duck and chicken fried rice were both pretty good.

Definitely one of my favorite Chinese spots! Loved everything! We got the chicken fried rice, lo mein and the pea tip in broth. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Service was good and attentive.

Amazing as usual. You can walk over to Soldier Field from here within 15 minutes. Makes sure to book a reservation earlier online

Food comes out fast. You order on an iPad which is really convenient too. It was all pretty standard. The szechuan green beans needed more peppercorns and needed to be fried for longer and the cucumber dish's flavor wasn't there. Everything else was what you'd expect out of these dishes.

Came a few times for happy hour- great deal with 20% off during happy hour times (2:30-5p). The drinks are creative and really good, my friends say the egg rolls are the best in the city, and the veggie dishes are consistently delicious (my favorites are the bok choy and broccolini). Beautiful ambiance and everyone is very friendly, yet not overly attentive. I like you order on an iPad, very convenient and efficient. I love they bring a pot of tea to the table when you arrive 🫖 This is my favorite Asian cuisine restaurant in the south loop 💕

Delicious and authentic food! Nice selection of tropical drinks. The staff is a bit aloof, but helpful. The atmosphere is a bit sterile, with the background sounds being dominated by the staff chattering to each other. I recommend they play some Dua Lipa dance music and such to impress! The soft shell crab is my new favorite! The scallops, oysters and other fresh seafood dishes were awesome! The BBQ Pork tenderloin was very good. We need to come back when the sushi chef is on duty!

Went there later in the evening around 8:30pm not knowing that it was near closing time. Waited a few minutes for someone to arrive for a seat. The guy that came immediately said that we had to order fast and when I question him, he said that we only had ten minutes to order because the kitchen closes at 9pm. We chose to try our luck and quickly used the provided iPad to place the order. We ordered vegetable beef in black bean sauce, an order of salt and pepper shrimp (w/ head on), and a couple of egg rolls. The food came ou very fast - I'm sure the cooks wanted to leave. It took us about 20 - 25 minutes to eat since the entire time the waiter was rushing by trying to take our plates. He went so far as to pull away the sauces that came with the egg rolls and I politely let him know that we weren't done with that yet. He then took to two sauce dishes off of the larger plate and left them on the table. Needless to say, an extremely rushed experience. The vegetable beef was a tad salty but tasted fine. The salt and pepper shrimp were cooked nicely but lacked seasoning - "salt and pepper". The egg rolls were good. What was nice is that they give a pot of hot tea upon being seated. Went there based on the high star reviews. However, my experience didn't live up to expectations. The decor is nice.

*** Each person has a different taste/experience *** I came to try the dim sum. It was okay, but not as good as I expected. One of their crepes meat tastes like Spam. The outside of the crepe is much thicker than in other restaurants.

I cannot stop thinking about the pork fried rice! Everything was daintily chopped and perfectly balanced. Next level delicious. However, the roast duck dim sum was not crisp and mostly bones. On a side note, there are two dining rooms; we were led to the tiny stark one although the finer of the two was not busy….

So, we went to this place from a kind stranger's recommendation. When I first walked in, I was struck by the elegant and classy look of the place. It was actually better than many super expensive restaurants I've been to. The food was extremely delightful. My group and I all loved it. The waiters were very attentive and had water refills every 5 seconds, which I loved. The only complaint I had was that the background music was a tad too high for comfort, and we usually had to raise our voices to talk. But that was very minor. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely return next time I'm in town!!

I started my visit with a welcoming hot jasmine tea. Food is good quality and service is quite efficient. They have a wide variety of beverages, zombi being my favorite. I highly recommend trying the orange beef and shrimp fried rice if you are sharing. The portions are huge and reasonably priced.

The food is pretty consistent with quality. The portion and flavors are very good. The service is hit and miss. Since the location is so convenient the food is why we've come as often as we have. This Minghin Cusine location in the Southloop is worth coming to get a little Dim Sum and classic Chinese dishes.

I have tried multiple Minghin locations and must say that this South Loop one is my favorite. There is usually no wait here and the atmosphere is more relaxed since it is not as busy as other locations. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. The menu is similar to other locations and has all-day dim sum. Highly recommend!

Not quite the quality of the better Chinese restaurants in California but very good value: inexpensive, big plates. Nice ambience.

Came here for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and fast the food came. The shrimp dumpling, sui mai, beef flat noodle, and fried sticky rice were our favorites!
